BILL MIYESA is a very strategic THIEF. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. His website Appliance Repair Technology is a PAID SCAM. Bowie, MD review On May 17th, 2023 we called Mr. Miyesa because my refrigerator needed repair. He came and requested full payment of $875. upfront - Zelle to start the repair and promised it will be done immediately. Bill promised he will return with missing parts to complete the repair but never returned and gives every imaginable excuse. I am filing a claim in small courts if anyone would like to join the petition please text me at 240-398-4859.

[Member Name Removed]. we refunded your repair labor cost of $875 for your compressor install a couple of weeks when we found out that some parts were no longer available. we could not acquire a wire harness for your repair. sorry we could not finish your repair as you may already know that you had purchased a used LG refrigerator with a bad compressor, then you went ahead to purchase a replacement compressor and called us to install the compressor for you. At times its better to buy a new fridge than to buy a used fridge and attempt to fix it. sorry we could not help you with your repair."

SCAM COMPANY DO NOT USE!!!! These azzholes LITERALLY just STOLE MY MONEY!!!! I have so much going on right now and this azzhole just came INTO MY HOUSE and LIED TO MY FACE about fixing my washing machine! Made me pay the entire invoice without doing ANYTHING and said that's the only way that I will be able to get my washing machine fixed. He said the part would take 2 days to come in this was a Tuesday, and that he would be back TODAY which is Friday. Realized I NEVER got an email confirmation or a phone call regarding the appointment, and I've called all 4 numbers that are listed as well as an email and still no response! I Could have gotten killed or hurt or anything! This is another nightmare that I have been in the past 3 weeks.

Bill was extremely easy to work with and responded immediately. He was at our house within two hours (no waiting for days and days for an appointment). The was still water in the dishwasher piping system and he quickly cleaned up what little water spilled and also took care of the residual water in the unit. My wife felt very at ease with his calm demeanor and professionalism. I just wish I knew of him years ago!

Paid over $700 for fridge repair and $200 for dryer in the fall. Neither work properly now. Took 3 service calls to get fridge working just to break down a month later. Company is not responsive to my request for a partial refund. They said I need to give them another chance to come out and fix it. It is a rental property and I cannot continue to "get it fixed" every month. Had to buy a new fridge. $700 down the drain. Dryer works only on auto setting. Will not work on timed setting. This is not fixed. I will not hire this company again or recommend them to anyone.

Bill was nice, but 1 hour late. No problem, he did call. After he installed new part, said I should have ice. Kept reminding me to write a nice review. WHICH I DID!! I thought everything was fine. Well, 2 days later no ice. He ordered new part & 4 days later he installed it. I went on vacation, 5 days later I only got 5 ice cubes. I called office to report the problem. The lady did not even apologize! All she said was, we are booked solid & we can get someone out in 5 days. You have my money now I get treated like crap?? In the meantime I paid $490 for this awful service!!! To this day, still no one has even called. I’ve disputed the charge with my creditor and will NEVER USE YOU AGAIN!!!

Bill M arrived promptly, replace the motor however it seemed to make ice at a very slow rate. He quickly ordered a new part & replaced it the following business day. It worked like a charm!! Thanks Bill, I will call you again for future work needed!!

I was excited to have someone come out the next day (Saturday) to fix my gas dryer. The gentleman was very nice but when he presented me an estimate for $517 I was skeptical. I asked how long it would take to fix since the labor charge was $240. He said about 2 hrs. I asked isn't $120 an hour pretty high. He told me that wasn't the hourly rate (and yet that was the charge). I told him we would get another opinion. I paid the $99 service fee. Today I had another person out from our old area in Baltimore and got it fixed for $165 with no extra parts. Sorry, but I think this was a case of someone seeing my neighborhood in Howard County and trying to take advantage of me....nope...

Repairman seemed to know his stuff. He found the problem, but needed to order part. He went to pick it up and returned to replace it. He also helped with a knob problem. Oven works fine now.

Bill M took the time to explain what was wrong. Explained that due to the age of the dryer and the part that needed to be replaced, that I should consider getting a new dryer instead. He patiently answered all my questions and let me know what to look for when shopping for the new one.' I would/will call him back when the next appliance needs repairs.

I called Appliance Repair Technology Experts at 8 AM Friday morning, and Bill said he would be able to come in a few hours and would call when he was on his way. He arrived around 10:30, was extremely polite and professional, and explained everything he did as he worked. THe probably turned out to be a jammed drain. He cleared that and made sure the washer was working properly before leaving. I was very impressed with his promptness, courtesy, and ability to solve the problem quickly. He also honored the 10% discount coupon from Appliance Repair Technology Experts website.

This is not the fault of the technician but, the woman who made the appointment was not very informed. I believe that she may have been from a call center who handles multiple accounts. She could not confidently tell me if the initial fee could be applied towards repair. Then she scheduled the appointment for 8:00 am and told me that since I was the first appointment that the tech would be there at 8. I waited for the tech until 8:30 and then called to check on the time of the appointment. I was then told by someone else that the appointment is a window of 8-10. For me to be there at 8:00 required shifting the schedules of multiple people. I should have been informed that this was a scheduled "window". Very inconvenient and I will now need to schedule with another company for another time.

I have a warranty on my dryer and after getting the run around from the warranty company I decided to look on Angie's List and found Bill at Appliance Repair Technology Experts. Bill picked up the phone right away and said he could come out to my house the same day to diagnose the problem. I had to go to the airport that afternoon so he told me if he couldn't get a tech out to my house in time that he himself would come. Low and behold Bill came out to the house which I was very thankful for. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and two days later he was back at my house when promised and fixed the dryer. With guests coming for Thanksgiving I was very grateful and happy that the dryer got fixed so quickly. Bill was very courteous and emphasized with me in my dealings with the warranty company. I had to pay Bill directly for his repairs but he took the time to talk with the warranty company on the phone to explain the issues---I am in the process of getting reimbursed from the warranty company. Overall, I was extremely happy with Appliance Repair Technology Experts and would recommend them.

The called me back, were willing to come out to the house and made a accurate diagnosis of the problem. The tech helped to convince the home warranty company that the washing machine was not just broken but so badly broken that repairing it far exceeded the cost of replacement parts and labor by 2.5 times the cost of getting a new machine. This company was the only one out of other companies I contacted that made the effort to contact me and help solve the problem. Thank you so much.

First off, Bill answered the phone (a live person!). The previous evening my parents' realized that their refrigerator/freeze was not operating adequately. I explained the situation to Bill and he said he could be out to the location that afternoon. He gave me an estimate of the time he would arrive and called to let us know that he was on his way. Although he arrived outside the time he originally estimated he kept in touch with us to let us know what was happening. I was also impressed that he arrived around 6:30pm - well past normal working hours.
He was professional, competent, reasonable and friendly. He repaired the problem and even offered a senior citizens discount. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would give Bill the highest rating possible and have already recommended him to friends and other family members.

I am not a tech...but during the call he explained in detail what was going on with it. Something about the compressor locking up or overheating.

Bill was the tech. He came over to fix ice drawer in refrigerator. He was friendly, polite, clean, direct, timely and very knowledgeable. I referred him to a neighbor and they were also satisfied with service. They also fixed reset button on oven.
