Corner to Corner Cleaning

Corner to Corner was extremely professional and did a spectacular job! I contacted them for an estimate to clean my boyfriend's home in Annapolis. He is a single father raising three teenage boys. He also has two large male dogs. His home was lacking a woman's touch and needed an overall deep cleaning. The day of the cleaning, four ladies arrived at 8:30 am. They worked in pairs of two, tackling different areas of the home. By 5 pm, the house shined like a new penny! It was amazing! They had cleaned every nook and cranny, leaving no stone unturned. It was EXACTLY what I had hoped for! I was so pleased, I insisted he begin using them on a regular basis! And I'm REALLY delighted he did! I will recomend them to neighbors, family and friends.

They're very responsiveness and helpful. I am completely blind and they do a very good job with special requests, putting everything back in the same place after they clean. They also do little things that some others don't, like putting sheets back on the bed after washing them.

Everything went well, from intial contact to final inspection. Brenda came over and gave me an estimate, which I was satisfied with. They cleaned everything as contracted and I was happy to see the results. Thanks for a great job!

I have used this company for two years and have had to complain only one time that the baseboards behind a bed were not dusted. The owner sent someone the next day to dust every baseboard in the house. Now, that is good service.

The ladies (2) came in and went to work after asking a few questions. The person who did the estimate did an excellent job and had given them written instructions. I was very pleased.

Wonderful results and the two girls who did the cleaning were excellent. I suspect I can get a better price elsewhere, though, so I will probably shop around more for the next cleaning.

Brenda Cressman, owner of the company, came out to my home and after doing a walk through and discussing my cleaning needs wrote out a service plan. She does a very though job of training her employees and 90 percent of the time things Were as close to perfect as they could get. There were certain cleaners who i would request but they were not always available. Brenda was extremely responsive to my needs whenever i called and i appreciated her professionalism. There were 3 employees that I just did not want in my house and when we spoke about this they were no longer sent. I have some significant physical limitations and this caused me to cancell appointments which I felt Brenda handled well. I did help two of Brendas employees obtain employment outside the cleaning industry. Both ladies assured me that they had given the expected two week notice. Brenda let me go as a client after a number of cancellations. There obviously are no hard Feelings on my part and after seeing some of the services out there I can say with all sincerity that corner to corner is a good cleaning company at a great price. (to the best of my knowledge they cleaned for me for 3 and a half years)

The fee includes a two-person crew that gets the job done in about 2.5 hours. They bring their own tools and products, which are non-toxic. They do everything except clean windows, wash dishes, make beds (though they will make beds/change sheets upon request for small fee). The two bedrooms we keep closed off are not included in the basic fee, but they will clean them on request for a small fee.The crews have always been punctual, polite, and conscientious. Nothing has ever been broken or damaged. I don't count the cat toy that was accidentally stepped on (my fault - I shouldn't have left it on the floor. The cats didn't like that toy, anyway). They left a note about the toy apologizing and asking us to call the office.We have been very happy with Corner to Corner's service and highly recommend it

We were looking for someone to clean our new home prior to our move in date. Brenda was very quick to get back to me about my inquiry. I told her what we were looking for and also my concerns about windows, dander, etc. She gave me some suggestions and recommendations about what would benefit us the best and did not try to sell any service that was not needed. Communication between her and I was excellent. Our house looks great for our upcoming move - and they even used our own vacuum per our request. We also requested them to clean our windows/interior sills and they look SO much better!!

I contacted Corner to Corner for an estimate in the morning and Brenda called me that afternoon. I discussed with Brenda the details of the work needed (I had prepared a list). She emailed me a Move In/Move Out Services flyer which was extremely helpful. There were areas I had forgotten. The flyer also showed Specialty Services Available like window cleaning which I added to the Move-Out Services. Brenda preferred to conduct an on site visit to arrive at an estimate. It is helpful for them to know the degree of cleaning required; thus, the type of cleaning supplies necessary. I explained I lived an hour and 15 minutes from the property and it would be difficult for me to get there. She was sensitive to my personal situation and determined an estimate over the phone and stated it would be about 3.5 hour job with a team of two. Brenda was very pleasant and professional. Her communication skills are outstanding. We talked several times to review work details including a confirmation call the day before the scheduled appointment. The team (Angie and Amanda) arrived on time. We talked briefly about the work to be done and they started k immediately. They did a great job! They did everything as promised, and worked hard and steady. They took one 10 minute break in the 3.5 hours they were in the home. They were pleasant and professional. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. My overall experience with Corner to Corner was wonderful! They are a highly capable and a professional company. I am sorry I did not know about Corner to Corner 6 year ago when I was looking for a cleaning company for my dad's house. I went thru 3 companies during that time. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a competent cleaning company. Keep up the good work!

The bottom line is that I am extremely pleased and would hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled, conscientious, professional company for the type of cleaning I needed. A+ The owner, Brenda, contacted me a day after I left a message about cleaning our townhouse. We were in the process of moving out and preparing our house for rental. Brenda was very accommodating about coming over during a time convenient to me so she could look around for an estimate. She was friendly and very professional, giving me the run-down of what their "standard" move-in/move-out package included, but offered additional services and worked with me to keep costs down by suggesting that if I did certain jobs, she could include other services in exchange for the same price--very accommodating for a custom job. She emailed me within a day with the proposal and list of cleaning products. *Note*--they use a lot of "green" cleaning like vinegar and could probably go that way as much as you'd like. Some of the cleaning I wanted did require some stronger chemical products, and that's the way I wanted it. I both emailed and called with questions and she got back to me almost immediately with answers. The cleaning was scheduled for my convenience in about 2 weeks, but the company could have done the job much sooner. Everything gleamed once the job was finished. Brenda was very attentive during the process, letting me know their progress, addressing any unexpected items, and making me feel like a valued customer. I did house cleaning myself since the time I was young and have moved about 10 times in the last 18 years. Every house I moved into and out of, I completely cleaned myself, including military housing that was supposed to be clean already (but contractors had done messy work after the previous family cleaned and moved out---???), so I am pretty critical. I feel confidant Corner to Corner would have addressed anything I found lacking. Corner to Corner's job included top to bottom cleaning of every room. Fans, lights, and blinds were dusted, woodwork was polished, baseboards cleaned, and appropriate floor care (carpet, wood, vinyl, tile). The master bath needed extra attention on shower sliding doors and a tile/grout cleaning treatment. After their cleaning, some soap scum remained on the shower doors, but cleaners quickly came back another day to fully take care of it. In the kitchen my appliances were fairly new so I cleaned them and did the inside of the kitchen cabinets. (Wow, I should have had them do the stove top. It took a lot of work.) Corner to Corner did an amazing kitchen floor tile and grout cleaning. They cleaned and polished kitchen cabinets that probably had not had that attention in years. They could do interior windows, but I declined except for the entry storm door.

I gave the company's owner a specific price range. She tailored a package to meet the price range. I gave her the key, she confirmed the key worked the door. Her crew came in got it done and left the key on the counter. It looks great.

Great experience from the get-go. Called and made an appointment with Brenda for an estimate. She was very pleasant and professional. I had arranged for 2 others to give me estimates the same day and Brenda's was only slightly higher than the low one and considerably lower than the high bid. She was extremely professional and was familiar with my neighborhood and the construction of the houses. She uses natural products and knew exactly what product to use on every surface of my house, from the hardwood floors to the granite counters. She was very informative about other contractors in the area which was helpful to me as I am from out of town. She even recommended a few to me and went out of her way to help me find a moving company! I was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. The 3 ladies she sent to clean my home were hard workers and jumped right in - no time wasted with these ladies! My home was very warm that day and I felt so bad for them but they were very nice and didn't complain at all. They scrubbed the place from top to bottom including inside windows and baseboards. They even did inside the appliances and cabinets. There was a sticky residue on some of my hardwood floors left from when the rug pads from the previous owners stuck. I could not get it all off myself, but they managed to get all of the spots. I had asked to have the hardwoods coated with polyurethane (that was the extra $150, the housecleaning was only $300!) Brenda herself came and coated the floors and even came back the next day to touch up places that the previous owner had damaged and needed a little extra coat. What a great job they all did! Throughout the entire process Brenda kept in constant touch with me to keep me informed. What a wonderful experience overall. I was very stressed out about our move and this saved me a lot of time and worry! I would recommend Brenda and Corner to Corner to anyone who wants a thorough housecleaning at an affordable price. When I go back to work and need cleaning help I will definitely be calling Corner to Corner.

They do a good job. They work fast and they clean well.

INCREDIBLY GOOD JOB! I was simply dumbstruck by how thorough and professional the cleaning crew was today. They did everything as promised and did everything superbly. The house sparkles (not that it was THAT horrible before, mind you, but it sure is perfect now). Brenda is highly competent and professional, so I shouldn't be surprised that her staff is also. I'm just simply thrilled by the quality of the work.

My parents closed on their house on Monday Nov, 16th and they wanted to move in by Sunday Nov 22nd. They wanted the house thoroughly cleaned prior to move in and my mom only had Wednesday and Friday open in her schedule. Corner to Corner Cleaning was able to accomodate my mom on Wednesday morning (I called on Tuesday morning). They were very responsive, called back twice to inquire as to the details of the house and the type of cleaning required. I specified that my mom requested a deep cleaning and didn't mind paying a bit more for quality and thorough service. When I was quoted the rate of $325 though, I was a bit hesitant b/c this seemed very expensive for a medium sized house, but based on the Angie's list reviews, went for it. My mom called me today and reported the two ladies from Corner to Corner had done a terrific job; this is high praise from my mom who is very picky. They spent more than the estimated time of 4 hours (closer to 5), but charged the promised rate of $325. My mom said she will plan on using them again and will recommend the company to others.

We have been using them for about 5 months. We are very happy with their services. They are really good. They are responsive and very professional. Their price is reasonable.

Whenever we have run into problems they have come back immediately and resolved them. The minute that we tell them about something they fix it. We initially had some small problems, but she fixed them automatically. She is very good. I will continue using them in the future.

All I can say is that they are efficient, thorough, and they are very professional. Additionally, they are very trustworthy (in case you were wondering).

I contacted Corner to Corner after finding good marks here on Angie's List. The owner, Brenda, was quick to respond and we setup an appointment to review what work I needed done. She was right on time for the appointment and as we walked from room to room, she explained what work her people would do, what chemicals and techniques they would use and provided options where appropriate. On the day of the cleaning, her people showed up exactly on time and got right to work. The house was completely empty so that made their work easier and quicker. They cleaned everything in the house, from dust on the ceiling fans to dust on the floorboards and everything in between; including even removing some ashes from the fireplace. When they were finished, the bathroom tile looked brand new, the hardwood floors were shining and every appliance, cabinet and surface in the house was spotless. I will definitely use this company again whenever I have any cleaning needs.

I was looking for someone to do a one-time deep cleaning of my house (baseboards, scrub floors, shower doors, dust ceiling fans, etc.) I called Corner to Corner on a Tuesday and scheduled an in-home estimate for that Friday. On Friday, Brenda Cressman came out, and we went through each room in the house with Brenda explaining in detail what her staff would clean. Then we sat down and went over the service agreement and estimate and scheduled an appointment. A two-person team showed up the next Tuesday and spent about 2 1/2 hours cleaning the house. I was extremely pleased with their work, specifically the cleaning of the shower doors and stalls, the baseboards on the main level, and the hardwood floors.

Our prior cleaning service was top notch (a lot of attention to detail), but since it was one individual, we had to deal with scheduling issues and lately, a lot of attitude. Thus, we needed a change. We selected Corner To Corner solely based on Angie's List reviews. Brenda, the owner, came for an initial estimate. She walked through the entire two floors and thoroughly described the services and products to be used. She went through different cleaning methods for different surfaces (countertops, shower stall, hardwood, etc.). Although you already have a cleaning service in place, you are required to go through an initial cleaning (this policy differs from service to service). We paid $190 for an initial cleaning. The initial cleaning went well. The bathrooms were shiny and the kitchen was spotless. We did note that the area under the couches was not cleaned. We brought that to Brenda's attention and it was cleaned during our first bi-weekly visit. We are two bi-weekly cleanings into the service. The first cleaning was the same team as the initial cleaning. It was comparable to the initial cleaning, but resulted in a broken soap dispenser for which we are to be reimbursed. The second cleaning was a different team and appeared more thorough (e.g. rims under toilets were scrubbed, etc.) and didn't result in any damage. Cost: While we are paying 15% more for Corner To Corner and the service isn't as detailed as our prior service (based on the 3 cleanings to date), the justification is as follows: (i) it's a company, thus has the cost burden (e.g. insurance, taxes, etc.), (ii) credit cards are accepted for convenience, (iii) they have been consistently on time - a significant plus point for us, (iv) there are no minimum required cleanings (e.g. 26/year), and (v) it's a local business. By the way, there are 6 different cleaning teams, so you may not get the same one each time. Since good, reliable cleaning services are hard to find, we're going to stick with Corner To Corner at this time. As far as the ratings go below, I'm a tough grader and a Type A personality. My prior service would get an A for quality and attention to detail. There was never a time I could come close to pointing out a deficiency.

Corner to Corner does a stellar job. Easily the best cleaning company I have worked with. Highly recommended! Brenda works with you to determine what you need and follows up to make sure things are going just right.
