This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any car place. I took my car to them about 5 times for an inspection and they failed me every time. I know that they did certain things like put a nail in my tire and then fail my tire. The reason is because I just got a brand new set of tires that were previously inspected before putting them on. Also I just took my car to them a few weeks ago hoping for that to be my last inspection and what’s new? Nothing I failed. I took my car to another certified MD state inspection station and said that they should’ve never failed me for my ball joint because the man did not see anything wrong with it meaning that they were picking on me maybe because of my skin tone I’m not sure but I would never recommend this place to anyone. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!

I was referred to Hillmuth by another auto shop for my inspection. They were very nice and answered all of my questions before I scheduled my appointment. On the day of my appointment they were very prompt. There were a couple other people in the waiting area with me. Each person was approached when their car was done. If there was no issue, they checked you out promptly. If there was an issue, they offered to show you exactly what was wrong with your car. When it was my turn for the results (after one hour, which is how long they had told me!), they said they couldn't pass my car because I had a large crack in my control arm bushing. This was something I had never even heard of! They took me out to my car and shined a flashlight on the damaged bushing so I could see the issue. They also showed me the other side's bushing so that I could see the difference. I had never before had someone take me to the back and actually show me what the problem was! This definitely made me feel like they weren't just taking me for a ride. They promptly drew up a quote for me. I left my car with them and then they gave me a loaner car so that I could still go to work. They called me later that same day to say they were finished and to stop by when I had time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who asked for a car shop. Too often I feel like I'm getting ripped off because they see a young female. These guys were wonderful!

They always give great service and they get service scheduled quickly. They also have loaner cars that you can use if you co-ordinate it before hand.

They are like number one! They are superb, I just can?t say enough good about Hillmuth. They are phenomenal, we don?t go anywhere else. We take all our cars there, all 5 of them. It was great! They never do anything without your permission, they always call you ahead of time, they give you options. They tell you how long you can go before you need or must do the next thing if you don?t have the money. They are just really, really honest and up front. The staff is really knowledgeable, the people are great! I wouldn?t give them anything but an ?A?! There are fabulous! Their pricing is absolutely worth what you pay! They are a little bit more expensive, but we are paying for quality work. They don?t tell you to put in anything or need anything or replace anything that isn?t absolutely necessary and they make sure you don?t drive your car if it is dangerous. They pick up right away, they call right away. After you drop off your car, night drop, they call you first thing in the morning. They are on the phone at 8:00 am or 7:30 am giving me an update and giving me options of what I can do, which is always good. Absolutely the best!

It was $4,000 to fix it. I said, "I am not doing that!" They said, "it wasn't worth fixing!" We were so blown away that they were honest, meticulous and when over every line of items that had been wrong and missed by the previous people that we had been to see. It is like a doctor for your car. They take pride in what they do! They are just great and really nice people!

Great! I used the Glenwood location. I took my car in on Saturday, but had to wait until Monday for a part. They gave me a loaner car, which was was much appreciated! When I pick my car up on Monday, they charged me less than they had estimated by about $65. Everything is working fine now, I will definitely use them again!

First of all, they found that my battery system was OK which is no small thing in a hybrid. They found what was actually causing the problem and performed the engine service needed. They also recommended some preventative service which was reasonable and important to do. Instead of spending thousands to replace a hybrid battery system, my cost was about $750.00. I felt that they were knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would rate my experience as very positive.

I had made an appt., and waited for about an hour while they did the work.

It went well as it always does. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and got the shuttle ride to work. They called to let me know about the power steering service recommendation. When it was all done, they called and then I got the shuttle back to get my vehicle. I have been going to HIllmuth for a year now. They are honest and don't recommend unnecessary services. They know I want to maintain my vehicle. Everyone from the front desk, the mechanics and the shuttle drivers are excellent and honest.

They have explained why they needed to do and have always been respectful. Their prices are reasonable and they offer coupons. They are trustworthy and never do unnecessary work. They've seen me quickly in emergencies and always offered pick-up/drop-off service or loaner cars if I couldn't wait or the service required a lot of time. They are my mechanics for life.

They are my go to place for regular maintenance on my car and have been for years. They are friendly, knowledgeable and while they recommend services, they do not use high pressure tactics to get you to schedule service if you are not interested. Bottom line: I trust them.

I've been very happy with their service. They do what they say they will do. They don't give you the run around. I've haven't had any issues with their service. I usually drop it off and come back when it's done It's usually a 45 minute wait. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Everything they have done is superlative. I can trust them to do the job right. I think they are reasonable. If there are any questions, you can take your car back and they will fix it right away. I recommend them to anybody.

We have used Hillmuth for more than 30 years. When we get a car, we pay a fee and then get free oil changes and other discounts for the life of the car. We have always been pleased by the service we receive. The staff is friendly and easy to work with.
