The original dealership that I bought my car closed so I had to go there. My car is still under warranty so it is free oil changes when I go there.

They're great! I have no problems with their work. Whenever they schedule me, they're ready, then tell me how long it will take. I have a service rep assigned to me, and when I call Greg, he'll get me in. Very friendly. I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. In their waiting room they have a TV with cable, as well as drinks and pastries.

as to why the auto was not brought current with all necessary maintenance. When Acura Consumer Relations contacted them, they to were not given any explanations and the proud owner of the dealership continues to be unknown. Having purchased autos in the past from different states and even overseas, this is by far the worse dealership! They manipulate the system (as we have since found out) in order to maintain high ratings. In our case, because they made a so called "good will gesture" on a flawed tire sold on the auto, they've still kept a positive rating, yet, no funds had switched hands what so ever or verified at that time. They endangered us with a tire so severely flawed it could of been tragic; it was warped, split, protruding, grossly damaged with all of it on the backside; out of eye view. Not even an attempt to contact the previous owner as to where the tires were purchase in case of an active warranty. If they can't properly maintain a used auto, how can anyone expect a new auto to be properly maintained when technology is fast changing. Yet, no problem with their shameless emails to use their service department!
Description of Work: Only focus was to place blame and apparently only towards the women. Used auto was purchased, later uncovered a paper trail proving it was inadequately maintained resulting in almost 5,000 dollars in preventable damage. What seemed like a good purchase, suddenly malfunction at 3k miles later on the small SUV. First diagnosis was it had no transaxle fluid or signs of leakage. The transmission as well as the rotor/wheel on the driver's side were replaced. Contacted Frankel Acura and provided documentation showing this auto had not been properly maintenance and that it was unfit for the road at the time of sale. Rich Giroux, like Guy Christopher, seemed more concerned at placing blame rather than working together to solve the real issue and concluded that the damage was caused by a hit/accident; impossible to believe that a hit so hard and so severe to fracture a SUV transmission case,the parts inside of it along with other severe damage would go unnoticed without any exterior damage whatsoever to the auto's body, wheel/rim, etc. and without any signs of fluid leakage of any kind. We later found out that Frankel has an auto collision area; unclear the full extent of work done and when Mr. Giroux was questioned on why simple preventative maintenance was not done when Mr. Christopher repeatedly assured us it was gone over with "a fine tooth comb", there were no answers, just blame. When questioned on why the same rotator they "so called" replaced had to be replaced again and the fact their own dealership paperwork stated there was a 1 yr warranty on it, Mr. Giroux said the warrenty was to themselves, the dealership. Both the new sales man and the person who did the State Inspection (over 90 days old), no longer worked there when we 1st contacted the dealership with problems. No explanations were ever given

Description of Work: Car purchased new @ Frankel in 3/12 was in accident 11/18/13 & towed immediately to their body shop. Just got it back today after nearly 13 weeks. No explanation or apologies, just "yeah, I know". Could have bought a Benz or Audi with all the $ I spent on this, but noooo, I had to "Buy American". Don't be suckered...they treat customers as fools who don't deserve anything ( yes, Greg, this means you.)

The price is higher but it's a cadillac, so you have to use synthetic oil and so it costs more. If you call there, to make an appointment or it is also possible to make an appointment online. The people call you back right away and they are very responsive. When you arrive there they find my last name. They also have pastries and donuts and coffee and stuff. And they have a very nice waiting room with a large screen tv and nice chairs. Very upscale, I would say.
Description of Work: Car repair and service, most recently an oil change and a filter change, and they checked the levels of all the fluids in the car and checked the tires.

I received a quote when I scheduled the appointment a couple of weeks before of $1,100 less 10%. When arrived on the day of the appointment a different technician claimed that the $1100 quote was not all-inclusive and that the full cost was going to be around $1,140 rather than the $990 I was expecting from the original quote. When I got home, that technician called me and said it was going to be $100 more because they had discovered dents and scratches on an additional panel once they had cleaned the car. I said it disturbed me that the current quote now was 25% greater than the original one, and the technician said he would try to do something about pricing. When I picked up the car, the cost was slightly more than $1,100, so I ended up paying 10% more than the original quote but somewhat in the ballpark. In all of this there were no written estimates and I was never asked to sign anything before I picked up my car when the work was completed. On the one hand, it's friendly of them to operate on the basis of their word is their bond -- except when it isn't. This practice affords flexibility and convenience so that the customer can authorize work verbally. On the other hand, it gives them the opportunity to see how far they can get in adjusting prices upward. I'm not sure this is their intention, but their behavior does lead me to suspect it is. The work they did was excellent. I feel that the value for what I paid was excellent. Other elements of their customer service were excellent. They provide a loaner car for several days my car was being worked on, and the ability to avoid a rental car also is a great value. I would not hesitate to use their service again or to recommend their service to others. It would be worthwhile to get quotes in writing, however.
Description of Work: Minor bodywork to remove small dents and repaint scratched areas on door panels and bumpers. Essentially, make a six-year-old car's body look new.

Called over a week ahead of time to arrange drop off first thing in the am along with a loaner vehicle. I arrived early, was second in line. When they opened, service person informed me that they had no record of my appointment. In addition, they do not gove loaner vehicles for someone getting the work done that I was getting...needed to be much more expensive. They recommended a service costing $400+ when all I needed was this. I was extremely upset as I was late for work but I did keep my cool. Joseph Munoz helped me by getting my car in first (15 min early), getting the fluid changed and me on my way in about 20 min. This was VERY helpful and almost overshadowed the initial faux pas. I would use them again but I did feel like I was not an important customer because I was not getting the recommended (by them, not the manufacturer) service costing hunderds more.

Chesapeake Cadillac sold me a great car and I feel like I got a good deal. The price reflected is what we paid after a trade-in. Our salesman was very nice and not at all pushy. They let us take the car out to test drive. I was also impressed that they followed up with a phone call after the purchase to see if we were still happy.
