I honestly found this team to be punctual, professional and hard workers. I never saw them that they were not busy at work and the job wasn?t easy since I had several years ago stencil on the walls. At the end of the day they cleaned up and moved everything back in its place. I looked over the job and could not find a single flaw; their work was perfection and what a difference the new paint has made. I found Derrick?s knowledge and honest nature a plus and would hire him again without hesitation. In fact I have already talked with him about another project. I?m happy and grateful to have found them on Angie?s List.

Although I wasn't able to use this service provider, I must still report that Derrick is a true man of this word. He was always responsive, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I was going to hire him on those qualities alone and not because I saw his work! However in the end, due to my strict time limitations and budget, Derrick was out of reach for both. But I would call on him again in a heartbeat! This company stays very busy on word of mouth alone so I suggest you call him early to catch him. Thank you again Derrick!

DJ's Painting and Power Washing did a fantastic job painting our home! We were not easy customers either. This was our first time painting a home, and we did not put any of the colors we selected on the walls before DJ's came out. We did not like three of the colors and the owner, Mr. Spears, helped us pick out more appropriate colors, purchased the new paint and repainted 4 different rooms for us. Mr. Spears was patient with us throughout the whole process and provided very reasonable rates to repaint the rooms we did not like. His team was also very professional, helpful and produced high quality work. Our project was completed in four days, even with all of our changes. They also left our home in great condition after each day's work, and after all of our painting was completed. I would highly recommend this company for your painting needs.

I was actually on travel that week so I was not present when the work was performed. But regardless, after talking with the provider and owner, I felt comfortable not being there due to the fact we walked all around the property and discussed exactly all the maintenance I needed completed. The quote on the job was upfront, agreed a pone, and did not change when the job was finished. I actually did not ask for my walks to be cleaned but the provide said "no problem, we'll knock that out while we're here anyway". As an added bonus they cleaned my front porch also, so they went above and beyond without any extra charge. I was pleasantly surprised when I returned from travel later in the week. One less thing I have to do! Bottom line...the house/roof looks great, and the shutters look brand new. They even matched the original color which after 10 years of fade/color loss can be tricky. They also told me it may take two days, but the weather permitted and they knocked it out in a day. The owner's business ethics are top notch, a straight shooter who made sure my expectations where met right from the beginning.In the future I will be calling this company back for painting,powerwashing or any of the other services they provide that I may need. v/r Steve Greeley

They provided a quote for power washing exterior of home 3200 sq ft and for exterior paint job (trim, front door, shutters) two weeks after the initial consultation at our home. I had a few questions in regard to the process and job scope finally received a response on Aug 26.

Terrible. Our project was delayed for an entire month. The owner set unrealistic expectations and eventually, we went with another painting company. Thank god we made the smart move. Not impressed by his lack of professionalism. Quote: $3000.

Their professionalism and can-do attitude was outstanding. Derrick and his son Jamie were very courteous, and always punctual. They cleaned up each day (they were here a day and a half) and left our home spotless. My husband and I are so pleased with this painting project. We highly recommend DJ's Painting and Power Washing for any painting job you are considering. Their prices were very reasonable, and the estimated was free. They used only high quality paint, from Sherwin Williams and their estimate included the price of the paint as well. We definitely will be using DJ's Painting and Power Washing again. Thank you Derrick and Jamie for a job well done. We love the new look of our home.

It went very good. He was close-by. He was courteous, worked quickly, he took special attention to cover up my other furniture and rugs in floor, which mean a lot.

The project was done in several phases, and Derrick was friendly, professional, hard-working, and responsive throughout the process. We appreciate the fact that he worked with us and his vendor contacts to select high-quality products that fit our budget, and we are extremely pleased with how everything turned out. The inside and outside of our home now look totally revitalized, to an extent that we didn't expect but are very happy with! We are very satisfied customers and are happy to have found a contractor of his integrity and professionalism. We'll definitely be recommending Derrick without reservations to our friends.

Absolutely amazing work! We initially had no idea who was going to paint our house. We looked on Angie?s List and their reviews spoke for themselves. Needless to say, we were ecstatic when they were done. Extremely professional, hard-working and they aim to please. My husband is very detail oriented. He came home from work every day and couldn?t find anything wrong. Their work just looked sharp, nice/crisp edging and was really perfect. I have already referred them to a couple of my friends and look forward to bringing them back for other various jobs in the future. They have definitely created a new long term customer due to their outstanding job!

This was our second time to use DJ's. They painted our entire downstairs in 2012 and did a great job so it was natural to hire them again. We had a few issues...one was time (only I day for us to get it done) second was some asthma problems. These issues were no problem to DJ. Job done perfectly in the time line and paint used was the same as they use in assisted living areas .fast drying and low odor. I was so impressed by their professionalism. They moved furniture back in place , hung the drapes and left the room much cleaner than they found it. We will use them again. I recommend them highly. Thanks DJ's Painting for a job well done.

The first time I used this company was in the fall of 2013. I have a 26 year old house which I needed to do many fix ups because I was moving. I saw DJ’s truck and called for an estimate to power wash my house and deck, paint the outside, and replace boards in the deck and stain the deck. The estimate was so reasonable that I hired them on the spot. To my utter amazement, the finished project made my house look new with great curb appeal. The second time I used DJ’s was in February 2014. They stripped wallpaper and painted walls at least twice in one of the rooms in my home. It now looks like new. My son’s room was a disaster. They replaced drywall, put up trim work, and painted. My daughter’s room had to be painted at least three times and trim had to be worked on. They also painted a downstairs ½ bath and it now looks marvelous. Many of my lights needed to be changed. This seems like an easy but was not, as the lights had never been changed. My overall response is that I would use DJ’s over and over again. They go above and beyond and make sure that all the work is done to my satisfaction. I am so fortunate to find a company who will complete things so well and with such professionalism. I highly recommend them to others.

They did a really good job. They are the only people we called from the word of mouth. He showed up and did a nice job. They were very professional. They came when they said they would. They cleaned up and did not leave a mess. They were efficient. They got the kitchen done and I cannot remember how fast they were. We just liked them.

Initially, I had chosen the wrong paint color and discovered this after they had already painted the hallway and stairwell. However, they were very gracous and had no problems redoing the work even though they had no involvement in choosing the paint color. It should also be noted that DJ and his son do the work themselves and do not subcontract out the work. Additionally, they had the lowest bid of the three companies that I contacted.
