Service provider called and informed he was located in DC, and I live in Kansas City. I am seeking a refund from Angie's List.

He forgot the first appointment we set up, and then he was a half hour early for the second one (better early than never). A friend came over to supervise for the second time, since I had to be at work. I had asked Mr. QuickPick in writing when I signed up and again verbally to have the front and back doors keyed the same, but they had different keys when I got home. This man seemed like a smart guy, so I'm not sure how my request was not clear. Since the bill was higher than I expected even with the Angie's List deal, I was reluctant to try to get him to come back and change one of the locks. I have to wonder if these "deals" are not such good deals after all, if they result in a rush of business for the company and lead to hurried, disorganized, or distracted work.

SErviceman was professional, called ahead of time to alert me that they were on the way. Clean, courteous and professional. Would definiitely call them again.

I wanted the locksmith to swap out locks on my front and back door. The back door was no problem but he struggled for over three hours on the front door bolt lock - taking off the lock, putting a new one on that stuck and didn't lock well and then re-placing the new lock with the old, which now doesn't work at all! Although he was friendly and polite I was very disappointed that this wasted my time and I ultimately ended up paying for something that didn't even reach my objective of getting a better more secure lock!

The service was good. The man from the company came promptly. The lock was a pretty high-end lock and it was fairly new but it was stuck so I could not really lock the door. It seems to work perfectly now. The only glitch was I purchased the big deal and he said that the big deal was just for his house call thing so there was an additional charge. It was not outrageous but I was not expecting it. So, I was a little bit like, "Oh!" Maybe they need to explain that better in the big deal because it is a little bit misleading. He left and about two weeks later, the lock was doing that again and I called him again and I have to say that he came right out, looked at the lock again, did another repair or whatever to it and it has been working since. He also did not charge me for that followup. So all in all, I was happy with his service and especially sometimes, when the fix does not stay or there is something not quite right when people come back, they are not too happy about having to come back but he was very amiable. He came right away and I even asked him. I said, "Well, is there an additional charge for your having to come back?" And he said, "Oh no! If I did not get it right the first time then I have to..." In other words, we paid to have it fixed and it is not fixed. So, I was very happy with the way he dealt with me in terms of customer service. I do not know if he was responsible for doing the writing of how the big deal of the day was but it kind of was misleading to me.

He didn't let me know I should purchase, he told me early on that he would bring the lock and then the day before, it's in the morning that I could have gone out and purchase one, he said that he was going to stop by Lowe's and pick one up and what color did I want. I was picked something completely different, if I had known he wasn't going to bring a choice of locks, I would have gone and purchase something for him to install and he charged what the lock costs plus more for the fact that he had to go and pick it up. That didn't worked out so well and he also left a big chunk of wood taken out of my door frame that I'm going to now have to have someone else come in and patch. He also stripped the paint off in the front of the door and I'm going to have to have someone else patch that as well. It just didn't go smoothly as I would have liked and it was a lot more expensive that I would have realized that he wouldn't be responsible for the cost of the lock but I wish he had let me know that I should pick one up and have it here for him. Essentially, he charged me $19.99 and then he charged me $100 for labor to install, and then another $100 for the lock itself.

chose 4 pins to substitute for the pins in the locs; problem solved in a little over 1 hour. Nice guy, extremely knowledgeable about music and jazz as a bonus.Charles arrived on time with tools needed to do job (I called in advance: Key in nearly new lock inserted ok but wouldn't turn. We set up an appointment between 1:00-2:00. I sat around and waited for him to show. He never showed. Around 8:00 that evening, I received a phone call saying that I needed to schedule the appointment. We had an appointment scheduled in the beginning. I rescheduled the appointment. After three to four phone calls, he still didn't show. I ended up not using his service.

Everything went well from start to finish. Appointment was made quickly from time of purchase and James showed up on time. He was very courteous, professional and efficient. Very happy with service. Will definitely use again for lock needs.

I was contacted shortly after purchasing the Angie's list deal. Originally the appointment was set up for 8/22/13. An earlier opening was found and the appointment made. The service provider arrived promptly at noon. We discussed the purpose of the call, application of discount and estimate. The provider did not have one of the locks with him and had to go to the local home depot. He returned and the job was finished by 2pm. I am satisfied with the work.

He changed locks on my side and front doors and offered security suggestions. He was early for the appointment and was very friendly , he offered advice on what security measures to take in the future as well as equiptment.

Mr. QuickPick: - was 10 minutes early for the appointment; called and waited for me to arrive; - wasted no time in removing the damaged screw; - proceeded with replacing the lock; - recommended larger size screws on the side plate; - looked at an additional lock to advise me on how it could be removed; - was courteous, took away the debris, and made sure the replacement lock operated properly. I recommend him completely, and will use him again when needed.

Mr Brooks was VERY quick and responsive when I set up my appt. He arrived on time on the date we were scheduled for. He quickly assessed the problem and, before moving on to replacing hardware, suggested an alternative solution which worked!

I called Quickpick Locksmith service and he came out the same day to open the lock box on my generator. His price was about $10 cheaper than the other locksmiths that were called. He was very professional.

After calling a couple of local locksmiths, I called Mr. Quick Pick (who charged at least $10 less). Charles was available the same morning. He arrived a little bit late but that was because of direction problems and he kept in touch along the way. Charles was very pleasant from the start. The padlock was different than he expected but he used the tools he had on-hand to open it. He had to drill the padlock off. Charles was very professional, skilled and friendly. He asked to take the old lock home to study it. He is very dedicated to his profession.
