He was excellent! He actually had to do some extra work, but he was very diligent. I had a lock from 1936 that needed to be fixed. He was extremely professional and nice!

He was good but it took a long time. I would recommend him though.

Very prompt email communication prior to the service. He arrived right on time and performed the service that was promised. He changed out all my locks for my house and did so with a uniform key as requested. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

After finding Mr. Quick Pick here on Angie's list, i called him to discuss the specifics of what i wanted done and to see if he could do it. I also wanted to arrange for whether he would provide locks or if I needed to get them myself. He told me about different lock options. I chose a regular-grade lock. We set up a time for him to do the installation. The morning of the installation, which was scheduled for 10AM, he called me to confirm and to let me know he was on his way. I met him outside and asked for his discretion in working quietly as i had guest still sleeping. He was very accommodating. He worked quickly and quietly. Once my guest were up an about, we chatted as he began the second lock. He was very personable and professional. He did a great job on the locks. They not only looked good, but he continued making adjustments on the first door until it worked flawlessly -- even better than the previous lock, as there was a problem with the door jam. He showed the problem to me and told me what steps he was going to take to fix it. His work was quick and flawless and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He definitely took the headache out of it for me. Everything went seamlessly. I would definitely work with him again and I recommend his service to others.

The job went very well. He showed up exactly on time and the job was complete in about 30 minutes. Charles was friendly and courteous. I would definitely use this company again.

Vender was late arriving, so I called. He had forgotten/misposted/misunderstood the appointment. Did show up on scheduled date and time and did competent work.

He cut a lock off for me. We scheduled the service in advance. He did a fine job.

Locksmith came and looked at lock to be repaired or replaced. He did not give me a cost estimate or time frame for the work to be done. He did not contact me since then.

He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even stopped to talk about the electric guitar with my 6 year old Son! I would definitely recommend him and use him again in the future.

While looking through some old family papers kept in a foot locker, I found a diary belonging to my father that was at least 70 years old. The diary was locked and the lock had rusted after all that time. I was loath to just cut the strap, so when I saw a Big Deal for a locksmith, Mr. QuickPick, I decided to purchase it. Mr. QP contacted me promptly and came by at a convenient time. He cheerfully undertook this rather unusual task and soon had the diary open. I was pleased that everything worked out well.

I purchased the Big Deal for $20. Mr QuickPick was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. I was satisfied with the work.

Scheduling the appointment was extremely easy. He was a little leery about being able to provide one key for all the locks since they were such a hodge podge of varying hardware brands. He came in, set up his little table out of the way, so much so that our two year old barely noticed he was in the room working away with parts and pieces of door hardware laying about. Upon completion he verified the keys he gave me worked and then requested that I do the same with himi watching to make sure everything worked smoothly. I would recommend him again, and will more than likely keep his information on file for when we replace our hardware in the future to the keypad deadbolt.

The man who came out from Mr. QuickPick was great. He was very friendly and got the job done. I asked him to do some additional work. He removed an old lock and installed new locks. I was very happy with him

Superb Service. Charles had a family emergency the day he was supposed to come. He stopped by to look things over and we rescheduled for a morning a few days later. He brought everything pre-processed to install quickly. I'd recommend this type of service from now on. Charles was an artist at his work and made everything work swimmingly. I'm still shocked at how economical it was.

It was an awful experience. He looked at the job, told me he would be back and I did not hear back from here. I did get a refund. I am busy and have not had time to deal with it. I would not use them again.

On time, professional, worked quickly. Would use him again.

Mr. Brooks was punctual, professional and changed the lock very quickly. He was very honest and gave me the option of changing the entire mechanism or only the part that was not working. If I ever have any need for a locksmith in the future, I will call Mr. Brooks at Mr. Quick Pick.

I highly recommend Mr. Quickpick. I called out Mr. Quickpick for help installing a custom lock kit I purchased online. The kit was missing pieces that needed to be ordered from the manufacturer so Mr. Quickpick installed a temporary deadbolt. He was early, worked longer than we had planned for and charged a very good rate. We also had an enjoyable conversation about DC's music scene while he worked.

The coupon they offered was unclear and it was difficult to obtain service. We gave up the money we spent on the coupon because it didn't actually purchase anything... We thought it would purchase the replacement of a door lock. Also, we had difficulty getting clear answers to when they would come out and what they would do for us using the coupon.

Great. He gave great advice, purchased door knob and installed it without problems.

He came out last October 12 and he was okay. He was prompt. He came when he said he would and he went to Home Depot and got the lock himself and he installed. So, that was very much appreciated. Overall I liked him. I paid $20 for the service but when he went away he take $150 extra this was because I had forgotten to buy the lock so he got me a lock but still I think $150 might be a little expensive.

Charles seems to be a very nice person with all sorts of knowledge in multiple unrelated areas. I believe he did not act accordingly of a local locksmith with this job. I asked him to install deadbolt lock (I purchased from Home Depot) on the upper part of door. He explained the door was metal and he could not install the lock, but could replace the existing lock with the lock I supplied. I paid him additional $50. He called a few days later and said the lock installed was illegal in DC, he could lose his license and he needed to come back and remove the lock. He returned on Sunday Nov 3, and switched the locks out. I feel he should have known it was illegal, hereby alleviating this entire issue, I mean this is his trade, correct? Not to mention, I just met with another locksmith who informed me that of course you can install another lock on a metal door, with the right tools. So now I am wasting more time returning the lock to Home Depot, purchasing another one and starting again. I WANT MY MONEY BACK that I paid for this deal. Charles told me, "he performed the service." Are you kidding me.

I purchased a big deal for this company. It worked out very well. It was just fine. He was quick and effective.
