Andy is very efficient and professional. He came on time every time and worked around my schedule. For the first sales call and estimate, he was knowledgeable and helpful with good suggestions. He carries all product samples and knows what works best. He was not pushy at all, and in fact, gave options to save by not doing certain things.  I had priced out similar blinds at Next Day blinds, and found Montogomery Blinds to be competitive, with more in-home, personalized service. The product quality is great (Hunter brand), and he did a fabulous job installing. He is a one-person operation and dedicates himself to this, so his livelihood depends on doing a great job. I would definitely recommend him.

He came to our house on a Saturday took the measurements and we discussed potential future projects. Andy informed us of our options and helped us make the right choice. He let us know the time table for order, receiving, and installation of the shades. Andy called me when the ordered arrived and we scheduled a date to complete the installation. During the time of the installation, we discussed our options for the basement windows and placed an order for those then. He is upfront and a great person. My wife and I are very happy with the existing purchase and look forward to the installation of the blinds in our basement.

We found Montgomery Blinds on Angi's List and based on the reviews, we went with them.  Them is really him - Andy.  Andy is the owner/operator and is awesome!  We had an idea of what we wanted, but when he came into the space he suggested an option that was cheaper and looked even better than what we had envisioned.  From the time we first called him to, to having him come out, to having the blinds installed was about 2 ½ weeks. What a quick turnaround!  The work was done quickly and professionally and we only wish we had more windows to cover!  Highly recommended!

Andrew did a great job; his price was great, his service was great, his installation was great. He had ideas that we had't thought of, and showed us a bunch of options. We were very happy with the whole thing.

Andy was courteous and professional.  He was quite knowledgeable about the variety of window treatment options to consider. He made recommendations based on the most favorable design v.  trying to sell us on the most expensive alternative.  He was punctual in meeting our initial appointment, and in meeting his installation schedule. We were very pleased with the results of the project - in terms of the quality of the workmanship, and the price we paid.

He does everything himself. He gave me a price, and wonderful suggestions, then he came back and installed everything himself. His price is much better than any other prices that I have gotten. He gives good discounts. His work is very good. He is very knowledgeable and has been doing this for years.

I had an excellent experience working with Andy. He listened to what I wanted and didn't hesitate to make suggestions based on his expertise. I also appreciated that he gave me a few options spanning the range of my budget. We ended up choosing wood plantation shutters, and they look amazing. The installation was quick and smooth. We have many other windows to deal with in our new house and I look forward to continue working with Andy. I also like that he is the owner of the company and does almost all the work himself. He is really invested in his business and that shows in the way that he handles his customers.

We were installing shades on the entire second floor of our new home. It went great from start to finish. Andy was professional, courteous, friendly and flexible. He provided informed opinions about our design options, but was not trying to push anything on us. Everything went very smoothly, and it was nice dealing with a small business owner rather than a huge company. Overall a great experience.

Andy was fantastic to work with. He responded to our inquiry immediately, and spent three hours with us in our home, helping us make the right window treatment choice for several rooms. He set up installation as quickly as he could, and offered to come back to give us more time with the one room we were unsure about it. He is professional, smart, knows his business and is personable and easy to work with. It was important for us to work with someone who would come to us to help us visualize what we needed on our windows in each room, and Andy was willing to spend the time it took so that we felt like we had made the best decisions. We would return to Montgomery Blinds again for any window treatment we needed, and recommend the company highly.

Andy installed dozens of blinds in my home nearly 9 years ago.  Since that time, he has maintained them for me free of charge, well after the official warranty expired.  He goes above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with the blinds.  Several years ago, the company that makes the blinds improved their product to make opening and closing them much smoother.  Andy replaced the mechanism within each of my older blinds so that they opened and closed just as smoothly - again, free of charge.
I am very pleased with the way that Andy continues to back up his products.  I am very comfortable recommending him to others.

He arrived on time for the appt., was friendly, efficiently installed the eight blinds. The blinds are beautiful, easy to use and open from the top or bottom. Andy's suggestion to have the slider move from right to left, instead of up & down was perfect for me & my arthritis, but that blind was $1,218.
 I would like to replace 13 more window blinds, but I can't stand to hear him complain one more time about the distance and the cost maybe more than I can afford.

Andy is highly professional, trustworthy, and supremely personable.  We felt we were in good hands from start to finish.  He took time to describe several options.  He took meticulous measurements.  He explained about warranty issues, given the challenging size and shape of the window.  He and an assistant installed the shutters, and even took the time to clean the window before installation(!).  Two of the slats arrived splintered, so Andy promptly placed an order for replacement slats, and switched out the bad ones once the good ones arrived (he even gave us a spare slat).  We highly recommend Montgomery Blinds!

The initial estimate was as I had anticiapted and the owner gave me suggestions that I aproved of. He came on time and the job went very well and efficiently.He also fixed without any charge a problem we had with a door mini-blind. I would without question recomend this company.

Andy was very prompt in coming out to give us an estimate, and install was within two weeks. My husband worked with Andy on the items and Andy was very professional with suggestions on what to do with a few odd shaped windows in our home. We are pleased with the efficiency, and pricing of Montgomery Blinds, as well as the quality, look and usability of the blinds. Andy was very honest regarding windows that did not need coverage. We were so pleased we recommended him to two of our friends already, who also have ordered through him.

I think they are really great. The man, who I think was the owner, was very knowledgeable. He was very open and honest about his estimate and the different products he carried. He was very efficient, neat, and clean when he installed the shades. He explained everything very carefully and took his time. I got other estimates and his was better.

Very professional service.  Removed old window treatment, installed temporary treatment during the waiting period for the new shutters to be manufactured.  Returned with the new shutters at the promised date, installed them and did an excellent cleanup.

Andy was a pleasure to work with.  He had quality lines of products to show, and he was very helpful in explaining the relative advantages of different kinds of blinds.  The blinds were ready in two weeks.  They were sized and installed perfectly, and look great.  We especially appreciated Andy's offer to move the old blinds to a another location in the house.

I have been extremely pleased with Andy's services.  My consultation with him was easy to set up.  When he came, he listened to my needs and what I had in mind and made good suggestions for options without being pushy.  I never thought he was trying to upsell me or pressure me to get products I didn't need.  He was respectful of the places where I wanted to make a bigger investment and places where I wanted to be economical and chose accordingly.  He clearly communicated time frames for when things my items would arrive, and since my shades would arrive well before my shutters, said he would install them separately.  He also made me aware that Hunter Douglas was having a mail-in rebate on one of the products I was selecting and prepared most of the paperwork so that all I had to do was fill out a couple of things and put it in the mail.

The shades he installed are lovely and look great in my kitchens and other rooms.  He was accomodating to my schedule when setting up the installation time.  He was prompt and left no mess, and was very patient with my son, who was very eager to "help" Mr. Andy.  I'm very much looking forward to having the shutters installed in a few weeks.

On price, I am giving the product an A, even though they are more expensive than "off the shelf" products and even some other custom shade and blind stores.  While I have ordered from other places in the past and been pleased with the quality, I do see the difference.  Considering we plan to be in the house indefinitely, I feel the difference in quality is worth the higher invesment in the price.  As mentioned, there were a couple of areas where I wanted to be more economical (e.g., the laundry room window), and Andy was responsive to that.
