Great company! They came out the very next morning and hauled everything away. They charged less than the over the phone quote and the guys were very friendly. They also cleaned our yard up after hauling all the junk away!

Was easy to schedule. Left voicemail and heard back from owner within a half hour. They were a little bit earlier than they anticipated, but called ahead to see if that was ok. Super nice, and efficient. Would use them again.

I called Junk in the Trunk and got an answering machine. I left a message. The gentleman called me back within 10 minutes. I was able to get a pick-up appointment for the next morning. The workers came on time. They introduced themselves and got right to work. The owner reminded me that there was a discount for Angie's List members. When I told him that my printer was out of ink, he said that I would still get the discount. With the discount, I paid $138.00. This was less than what another company had quoted. When they didn't show up I tried Junk in the Trunk. I will definitely call Junk in the Trunk again if I need anything hauled away.

They are amazingly responsive. They answered email requests on the weekend, told me when they had an opening (Monday), and kept me informed of when the truck would be here. Two men came, looked over the mountain of material, and estimated that it would not be a full truckload but that it would come close. It had taken three people three days to take everything out of the garage and sort out the Goodwill items and the items to keep. They estimated that it would take them 45 minutes to load the truck. And it did. They broke down the cabinets, so there would be more room on the truck. This made my bill smaller. Otherwise, they would have had to make 2 trips because there were loads of old cabinets that would have easily filled the truck. They are worth every penny I paid.

Workers came on time and quickly proceeded with hauling out the garage and were extremely polite and considerate. A job well done!

Sent email to company and heard back from owner on same day. Made appt which worked with my time constraints. Punctual and very professional. Price came in lower than I anticipated.

I wish all contractors were like this company. They responded promptly and the work was done efficiently on two occasions. Use them!

Another junk removal company with whom I had made appointments had just stood me up two days in a row when I contacted (phone message and email) Junk in the Trunk (Jitt) on Saturday (9/15). I am about to leave for a trip tomorrow morning (9/18) and had hoped office and other light household stuff gathered in a pile in the middle of my living room could be removed before I went. I appreciated however, that given such short notice, any company I got in touch with to try to help me might not be able to do so until I return next week. I was surprised that Frank Coyne got back to me on Sunday! Not only that, but he fit me in for a pick up early this morning (Monday, about 8:00). Two Jitt crew members arrived on time, removed my junk, and were gone in 15 minutes. They were friendly and efficient. In addition, the price (with a coupon discount) was "right" for my minimal truckload. The whole Jitt experience was great, from making the appointment through the clearing of my living room pile and payment for services (one can pay with check or credit card). In the not too distant future I should clear items from my basement too, and have every intention of contacting Junk in the Trunk to do that!

The business owner and the two workmen promptly removed everything that I wanted removed -- old boards, garbage, buckets, etc. The price I paid was fair.

I had used Junk in the Trunk in Jan 2010 and was pleased with their service so I knew I would be calling them again. I left a message either Wed or Thurs in the afternoon of last week and Frank returned my call shortly to schedule for Sat, Aug 8. The window of time was between 11am-12noon. Todd called 10:55 am to say that he was 20-25 mins away. He, Omar and Frances arrived at 11:14 am. They went to work immediately to clear the 4 doors from the attic. There were two other items, an old wooden trunk and a wooden barrel but removing them was not feasible. Then the three tackeled the garage and all I can say they were quick and efficient and my junk filled up their junk truck pretty well. They finished the job at 12:11 pm.

I called on Labor Day for an estimate and the call was returned within an hour. The gentleman was quite professional. The estimate was slightly above what they ended up charging me. They showed up on time (actually, an hour early, after calling to check that it was okay). They were professional and efficient. This is the first time I have used vendor from Angie's List, but if they are typical, I am extremely pleased.

Fantastic company! Junk in the Trunk was a pleasure to work with from the initial call onwards. Frank was very nice and thorough in explaining everything. They were prompt in providing an estimate, and although I initially forgot to mention a few items to be removed, communication was great so it was no problem to add to the estimate. JITT even donated items that were in good/usable condition to a nonprofit organization (who provided me with a detailed receipt for tax purposes). Again, fantastic company, will definitely utilize their services in the future.

Excellent. Frank responded to my email quickly, stayed in touch regarding his arrival time, arrived promptly, and was extremely courteous. His crew was super nice and helpful as well. After they'd moved everything into the truck, Frank made sure with me that everything we'd ask to be removed was removed. I am SURE I will be using them again.

The service was wonderful! The guys showed up right on time, gave me a quick estimate, loaded the items in the truck, measured the items for an exact price and we were finished. The whole job took about 10 minutes and it cost less than the price they quoted me!

On time, efficient, friendly, thorough, neat, clean and affordable. Also, the truck did not smell bad.

I called Junk in the Trunk that morning. Unfortunately I cannot remember the person I spoke with but he was very responsive and accomodating. He was able to send a crew out within an hour of my phone call. I was at work when they removed the things from my house but he told me to follow up with him if anything was left or looked out of place. I was more than pleased with the service and will definitely use them again.

They were very responsive to our telephone calls and scheduled a pick-up within just a few days (they also apologized that they were so busy for the few days that we had to wait). They showed up right on time and finished the pick-up within a few moments.

Everything was smooth and pleasant. I am grateful and relieved. I was very upset to discover the damage to my (heavy, wood) entertainment center after a recent move. I contacted Frank by email and asked if they would remove it for me. He gave me a price quote (including a $10 discount for Angie's list members) and we scheduled a time (15 minute window) a couple of days later. The crew called me in advance to let me know they were arriving and they came within the window. They were clean and polite and finished the job quickly. I asked about also moving the dresser upstairs and they confirmed with Frank and charged a nominal fee. I have used other junk removal companies before and they were fine, but the value here was better. I would recommend them highly.

We were impressed from start to finish. After reading great reviews on Angie's List, I contacted them regarding an estimate. The reasonable estimate ended up being right around what the ultimate cost was (actual cost was a few dollars less). They got back to me quickly, gave me a possible date/time that week and were at our house exactly when they said they would be! I would absolutely recommend them and will use them in the future!

This is the second time we've used their service and they are absolutely terrific. Friendly, professional, thorough and reasonably priced , They arrived exactly at the time promised, did all that was asked (and even went beyond in helping me to disassemble some items). and moved quickly and efficiently. They broom swept the area when they were finished. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
