The work done in our kitchen was great! Bernard came and reviewed the area and gave a detailed estimate. Work went quick and any changes were handled well. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and would recommend to others.

Things went well. Sometimes it took a bit to schedule the subs but that could also have been to our very busy schedule.

Complete waste of time. While customer service on front end was good and couple reps came out and detailed my desired scope of work, an estimate never provided. Nor did I receive any further contact with the company ever again even after I left a voice mail inquiring about status a couple weeks later. This was going to be a big, deep into five figures job so their lack of attention and care on this wouldn't bode well for me to ask them to do any other work.

Contractors were great to work with: very knowledgeable, hardworking. Remodel was completed on-time and within budget. Looks great!

Was given a 1.5 hour window. Estimator didn't bother to show or call. When I called the contact number to see if he was coming, I could only leave a message.

You'll find it with JCabido. PLUS, you'll get the project scheduled quickly and completed on time. So the details: We received several estimates for the work and JCabido was the best. They also showed up on time for the estimate, answered follow-up questions quickly, and offered a start date when I wanted it. Those are the reasons I selected them over several other companies who seemed solid. The glowing review comes from what happened once they started the work - their customer service, craftsmanship, professionalism. It was an unparalleled experience. Here are some of the highpoints to illustrate what kind of company this is: (1.) As I mentioned, this work was completely unexpected since we purchased the home with the understanding we had two completely new, renovated and beautiful bathrooms. JCabido provided detailed photos and descriptions of what they found in terms of the problems and this helped us go back and have productive conversations with the developer who sold us the house. They even sent me a video to demonstrate the issue. (2) I loved the ease of communication with the office and the online invoicing system they use. It all made contracts and payments super simple. (3) And the work was just beautiful. Rob did our work and he is a master craftsman. If you have tile work involved with your project, ask for him! He has the precision and attention to detail to make your project look like it belongs in Buckingham Palace. Plus, he is just a really good person - if you're going to have people in your house over several days/week that matters; or at least it did to us. (4) This was major work with the potential for a lot of collateral mess. Every day I came home and the place looked great -- no extra dust in my hall, no tile chips on my lawn. (5) Bernard is their administrative ringmaster and he is great! He gets things done on time and accurately. He monitors progress, juggles schedules and makes sure things stay on time. We had a hard time finding new shower floor tile for the "re-do" to match the rest of the bathroom and grumpily settled on a substitute. When they saw it, the team agreed that it would be a much better to match the tile. Bernard found it somewhere out there and had it delivered to us without any delay to the project. (6) The project came in on budget!!! This is a company that prides itself on delivering a quality without surprises. There were no additional costs, no hidden extras, no escalating charges. Yes, you read that correctly: ON BUDGET. Like I said, this is the company you're hoping to find.

Took longer than anticipated, had problems with damaged flooring. They worked to repair soft flooring, but it was still damaged in places. When plumbing and electrical sub-contractors were required, had to wait for scheduling. If I used them again, I would have them do everything, including flooring and cabinets. Working between different contractors was problematic.

Responded immediatly to give estimate which was detailed and inc. samples of cabinets and tile. Provided sound advice and flexability when found problems not at first obvious. Love the bathroom which is superb for size. Did what said they would for agreed price. The only deficit was that the last bit of work took over six weeks to complete causing me to loose an extra month of rent. All personnel were professional and commited to doing a good job.

We had an initial meeting where one of the owners, Bernard, stopped by our place to take measurements and provide a brief overview of the basement renovation process. Bernard patiently answered my long list of remodeling questions. He was able to understand our basement remodeling requirements/needs and carefully translate them into several renderings. Though we did not pursue the basement project, I would definitely recommend Bernard for his professionalism and experience!

It went very well. Both employees and subcontractors (electrical and plumbing) did an excellent job. I was especially impressed with the skill and care taken to install the new porcelain tiles and the overall attention to detail. Bernard (one of the owners) provided a written estimate the same day he came to look at the scope of the work and responded to all my questions and requests as the work went for about two weeks. I would hire this company again because of the quality of service and workmanship they provided.

The J. Cabido was punctual, but they're communication and on-site project management was very poor. We hired them to do lead encapsulation, something which I was told they were certified to do and had previously done. I trusted their team to follow EPA guidelines working with lead. They took no precautions, and I told them to stop all work. Then, after communicating with the project manager and moving ahead after clarifying our expectations, they still did not take proper precautions. They tried to be accomodating, stating they would do things how I wanted them, however they were supposed to be the professionals and I felt I should not have to tell them how to do their jobs appropriately. They seem to have very poor internal communication, the project manager was not on-site for the work being done, and they only took the lead seriously after I told them I did not want them to continue the project. They returned the money for the cost of work not completed. I would not trust them to work on older homes that may contain lead.

Bernard came to my home, took measurements and pictures and that was the last I saw or heard from him. After several attempts to contact him via phone I stopped trying to reach him. If they were not interested in the job all they had to do was let me know.

We needed a full gut and remodel in our Basement Bathroom. J Cabido gave us the most competitive bid out of 4 different contractors and they were also very knowledgeable in the interview process. The whole remodel took longer than expected (which I know happens a lot with any job) but they crew was extremely clean and great to have around. The remodel turned out exactly how we wanted it. I would highly recommend using J. Cabido.

Terribly. The estimator was twice delayed so much that I could not keep the appointment. At least they called to let me know. On the third--and final--attempt, he/she never showed up and never called. How could I trust an organization that can't get the most basic customer service element right?

Absolute fantastic job by JCabido! Some rooms in our house had terrible drywall jobs - ceilings in the kitchen and office were awful. Others needed repair as I had an electrician in to fix some problems and rewire, and that necessitated holes in the walls/ceilings. Bernard arrived and gave me a quote, and they were less than the other companies with which I had spoken, so I went with them. Jose and Junior were out on Day 1, and Jose and Rafael on Day 2. Ceilings of both rooms look fantastic, and the smaller jobs in the downstairs foyer and basement are great. Jose even skimmed a large 6 X 6 section of the hall that leads to our utility room, and now the wall is flat - no trace of the major patch I did when I had to cut a large section of drywall to have access to and fix our staircase. Very professional and clean - they covered everything in plastic, and the dust from sanding was way less than I expected for the amount of spackling they did. Would definitely use them again. Great work!

J Cabido scheduled to arrive between 10 am and noon. A little before noon, the estimator called to say he would be late, and rescheduled for later in the day. He arrived on time for this later appointment. He and his helper were polite. They measured the room for the closet. The estimator asked his helper to take a picture of the mouldings so they could match them, and I had to ask them to please note that we have plinths at the base of the door frames that should be added to the closet door frame. The estimator did not think to give me his business card until the appointment was almost done. He told me I would receive the estimate in a day or two. Three business days later, the estimate had still not arrived, so I called to find out where it was. Reaching voice mail, I left a message with my contact information asking if the company still planned to submit an estimate. Nearly three days have passed since that call. No one has called me back, and I do not have an estimate.

I was very pleased with the work done on this project. Bernard and his time were extremely professional and took great care to try to keep the dust and debris contained to within the construction area. Each team was on time, if not early, for the five or so days the job took to complete and their attention to detail on the moulding cuts, painting, and integration with the prexisting walls/staircase was excellent. There are some contractors that simply want to complete a job as fast as possible and therefore, cut corners when measuring/painting/caulking. This was absolutely not the case with the JCabido team, their workers were skilled in their trade and took ownership of completing the project correctly, which is what I appreciate the most when working with a contractor. There were some follow up issues regarding reinstallation of a new ceiling fan and a seam that needed to be smoothed out (no project is without some type of unexpected item that requires attention) and Bernard handled them promptly and professionally. There was never a doubt in my mind that they do would do whatever necessary to make sure I was pleased with the work done. So, my overall feedback is that JCabido is great. I'm lucky I decided to use them and I hope to have them perform more work on my home soon. Thanks again Bernard and team!

I didn't feel quite comfortable with them here. There was a hole in my ceiling that was from water damage, due to a leak. They didn't cut out the parts that had the water damage. They just went over the part that had the water damage. There is yellowing seeping through the repaired part, I can see that there is water damage under it. I think they should have known that they needed to cut that out before making the repair. I wanted to wait to make sure the leak was fixed. They did do some other stuff. They were supposed to fix the hole in the ceiling as well as the wall in the ceiling. I used the Big Deal for it. A supervisor and a guy who didn't speak English. The supervisor left the guy who didn't speak English. He got on the phone and had a very long conversation. There was more work that could have been done while he was on the phone. The supervisor was very professional when he was here, but the work person wasn't. The supervisor should have stayed and supervised.

For customer service, I would grade them an A but for price, a C. They were responsive. I would use them if the price was reduced.

Great. The team was punctual and made sure to tape off the area. They did it in the time period they said they would and they did a nice job.

I'm very pleased, he tries very hard to make his clients happy. I was pleased with his responsiveness as well.

A major waterproofing project had to be taken place in the interior of my condo because the floors were installed improperly when renovated and sold to me 3 years ago. All of the floors were buckling. J Cabido's team came in to assess the floor and replace all the flooring and repair the damage from the waterproofing project which included framing work, drywall replacement, and also painting all the interior walls. I received multiple quotes and J Cabido was the best price but also the best to talk to and help me understand their services. They were very professional and I knew I could trust them to get all my needs done in order to make the condo unit perfect for the next homeowner. I was screwed over by the developer of the building and didn't want that to pass on to the next owner that would buy the unit from me. The floor looked amazing when finished and I only wish it was installed properly before I moved into this home. With all the costs to repair the property right, I have no choice but to sell it and try to recoup the cost of repairs. I'm super happy with the result and the condo was able to sell in less than 2 weeks!

They are absolutely outstanding. I don't know of any company that I've ever hired in which each employee takes such pride in their work. The owners (Jackson and Bernard) are extremely responsive and accommodating. Every singe aspect of the work has been top quality. The workers arrive when they say, and put in a solid day's work. My home has been transformed, and every single detail has been taken care of with the utmost attention and quality. Each of the workers is so nice and extremely professional. It has been such a pleasure working with all of them in making my dream a reality. As the work is almost complete, it is going to be very difficult to end this relationship. There's no question, though, I will count on them for any future projects, and I've wholeheartedly recommended them to several friends and family.

The process went well. I could not have asked for more. Cabido performed all of the tasks as outlined on our agreement in a timely manner. My kitchen looks like a model out of a magazine. Cabido was available to assist me in my selection of cabinetry, flooring and counter top. I am very satisfied with the outcome and will use Cabido for other remodeling projects. I recommend them highly.
