Description of Work: In 2018 they completely renovated my basement into an amazing living space complete with bathroom and shower, walk-in closet, full kitchen area, new windows, and an electrical upgrade. In April they completed a side deck porch, In August they waterproofed the outside of the front and side of my house.

Description of Work: Mr. Cabido made an exception to provide an estimator to come on a Monday. He arrived in the time discussed and walked through the projects that needed work. He said he would have an estimate by Wednesday. I have heard nothing from him since then - over 2 weeks ago. I've emailed him to inquire about it but no response.

Description of Work: We had a water leak in the basement and after the remediation team complete their services I contacted JCABIDO REMODELING for a make over which started in Sept to Nov 2015. In a 2,200 sq. ft basement they did the following services; repair all the holes in the wall, installed recess lights added plumbing, extended cable lines, added electrical outlets, repainted the entire basement, provided a design plan for the bar area and gave us a excellent quote for cabinetry which is the second phase of our remodeling. The crew of JCABIDO are very professional and easy to work with, if I had a problem they went out their way to correct or make changes.

Description of Work: The work was very good and on time. However it was fairly expensive.

Description of Work: They charged me for four hours, but sent two people. One stood around watching the other work. I think he was a trainee. He did a horrible job installing drywall. At the end of two hours, I said it was over and they had to leave. I wasn't paying any more for the job. They were not happy, but neither was I. Every time I look at the wall, I am reminded of being ripped off.

Description of Work: Sorry I don't remember the approximate cost of the service. But I'm sure that it was fair and reasonable (otherwise I would not have chosen them). They repaired dry wall in ceiling which had been cut open by plumber to find source of and fix water leak. The workers were professional, fast and courteous. They even patched a few line cracks in the ceiling that were not related to the job. I would use them again and recommended them to my sister for a much larger drywall repair job. She was very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Removed drywall stained and ruined by a roof leak in the garage. Also did drywall a hole in an upstairs bedroom wall..

Description of Work: They laid new tile in the kitchen. They also had to put a new wall in the basement from water damage.

Description of Work: Finish the whole unfinished basement, including the addition of a bathroom and a kitchen. Painted the interior walls and fixed nail pops throughout the house.

Description of Work: We have used the services of J Cabido Home Improvement for several years, but specifically I want to talk about the last two jobs they did for us because they are the most recent ones. Our house is old and the kitchen was in need of remodeling. Mr. Cabido was courteous, prompt and punctual to come and give us the estimate. And the price was reasonable comparing to other contractors. It was a big job since we needed to knock a wall down to give the open concept that we wanted, move the range, install a granite top, sink, washer, range, and new cabinets. Mr. Cabido and his employees were polite, hard working, clean, extremely professional, dependable, and delivered the job they promised as promised. I am very happy with my new kitchen. And all our family and friends compliment us on our new kitchen. We were so pleased with the results of the new kitchen that we decided to finish the basement right after the kitchen! Again Mr. Cabido was prompt in giving us the estimate, and the price again was better than other contractors. They built two bedrooms, a kitchen and living room (open concept). Built a laundry room. They finished the family room. Finished my son's bedroom with drywall and a new closet. Did the flooring, electricity, plumbing. Everything. We now have a finished basement! And it is one that we can enjoy and the kids can bring their friends and enjoy the space! J Cabido Home Improvement is the only company we will call to do work in our home! Thank you Mr. Cabido!

Description of Work: JCabido Home Improvement has done work on our house on at least three separate occasions. In each instance, the work has been done in accordance with the agreement with the company. Jakson Cabido, the owner, is a reliable, professional and honest businessman. The work done in September/October 2012 was a basement remodel into a two-bedroom apartment. The area in the basement was unfinished, except for a full bath that had been built before we purchased the house. The first thing done was to move the hot water heater, in order to conserve space. A licensed plumber came in and did the work. Then, they began framing the two bedrooms. Next, an electrical contractor did the wiring and also corrected a problem he discovered with the line to our outside A/C unit. Then, the insulation was placed in the framed walls, followed by the sheetrock. One of the workers who was very experienced in taping/mudding completed the walls. The workers installed kitchen cabinets, a countertop and sink, leaving space for a stove and refrigerator. A separate utility room was built by Mr. Cabido so that the apartment residents and we would be able to share the washer/dryer very conveniently. The apartment was painted and finally, baseboards and flooring were installed.
