Both Juliana and Bernard were extremely professional. Bernard was on-time for the estimate appointment and very professional. He explained everything that needed to be done. Juliana, who worked in the office was always very professional and helpful on the phone and always returned my calls and/or emails in a very timely manner. I was given the opportunity to schedule the work to be completed the week after the estimate. I can't comment on the completed job, due to personal reasons I had to cancel the job for the scheduled date. I spoke to Juliana and explained to her what was happening and she was very understanding and wasted no time to tell me my deposit would be returned and put in the mail immediately. I would definitely contact them when I am ready to have the work done. Based on my interaction with Juliana and Bernard I would definitely recommend their company and feel very strongly that due their professionalism and integrity shown this company does a great job. The two people that came out worked for two hours (vs. one person for four hours) and then called it a day. Really, only one person did work (the one who could speak English), so the work didn't get finished. They just did a little patch up here and there. One person arrived an hour late. They asked us to either purchase another Deal or just get a quote for the rest of the work. The quality of the work looks good and they cleaned up well. That's for the smaller areas. I'm not sure if I'd use them again because I don't think we could finish the job in 4 hours, and that seems to be the only way they schedule work.

First he came and looked, then brought a man to do the actual patching. The ceiling wasn't attached properly to the joists so it was flexing and cracking. They re-attached and used flexible tape and spackle. They also guaranteed it wouldn't crack again in 12 months or they would come and fix it again.

As a repeat customer, I am once again very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship of the contractor. Most definitely, one of my best experiences on Angie's List. If I could leave an ?A+? rather than simply an ?A,? I would do so.

The team came in and we're very polite and personable. They reviewed the job at hand in a professional manner and removed their shoes to ensure that they didn't soil the carpet. They were neat and took special care to protect my furniture and carpet.

They did a repair in the bedroom and they were excellent! They sent two techs out to help me. Scheduling was fine - I told them when I was available and they came. They called before they came also. They pointed out some other areas where I needed work done as well.

Joel and Luis were excellent. They were professional, efficient and did an excellent job. Joel was friendly, attentive and a effective team leader. Luis was an excellent technician who muds really well. Will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.

Two workers showed up, one was fully qualified to do the entire job while the other could only do mud-work. The entire job was not able to be finished in the allotted time. However, the manager did allow the workers to come back and complete the little that was left.

They do EXCELLENT work! Their prices were a bit over my budget, but they do great work!

From the onset, I was extremely pleased with the contractor. Prior to meeting with Bernard for a free estimate, Juliana was extremely friendly and professional in scheduling the visit. Moreover, I was very pleased to receive a confirmation message concerning the appointment, which is seldom the case with most contractors. Upon meeting with Bernard, he provided candid feedback with respect to the amount of work needed to accomplish my objectives. Bernard recommended a lower cost solution than I was originally seeking. After selecting JCabido Remodeling to perform the work, it was done professionally and with high workmanship. Based upon my experience, I would definitely recommend this company to others seeking high quality work and dependable service.

We bought a Big Deal for 4 hours drywall repair. The company reacted properly to our request to schedule an appointment. At the day of service, the team arrived on time and performed the work (repair of a few holes and cracks at various place in the house) to our full satisfaction. The service people were friendly, professional and provided great service. We were so happy with their work that we asked for estimates for further projects at our home.

I purchased a 4 hour Deal for dry-wall repair. They repaired the cosmetic appearance of the living room ceiling. But it was not sanded evenly with the rest of the ceiling. Just a month before, we had similar work done in the dining room and the the living room work by comparison is less than adequate. On this one, you can see the different edges and the repair of the crack in the wall is now coming loose and needs to be repaired again. I suggested that they might want to anchor the dry wall as had been done by the previous workmen, but they said it was not necessary. They were pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves, but the resulting physicalwork does not qualify for anything more than average.

They worked quickly and professionally, and did a good job.

I didnt use the deal because 1)it took almost a full month for the provider to just come and take a look at the job and 2)when they did look at the job he advised me he couldnt do the work for $149. I advised him well just give me the 4 hours of work promised and dont worry about completing the whole job, but he just laughed at me to his friend and I have yet to hear anything back.

Couldn't have asked for more from JCabido. Above and beyond, and at a VERY reasonable price. 5/5 stars

Overall I am very pleased with the work that J Cabido did for me. We had a bathroom leak upstairs that caused drywall damage on the ceiling immediately below. The damaged drywall was in the dining room, and I was particular that the repair should leave no trace of any damage or short-cut work. Although I hired J Cabido for the drywall repair work alone, they offered to paint the repaired ceiling (+ 2 adjoining room ceilings, approx. 800 sq ft of ceiling total) the same day and saved me the trouble of finding someone else to do the painting. I appreciate the quality of work & attention paid to getting the details just right. As intended, there is no sign of either damage or the subsequent repair; the ceiling appears in mint condition. Thanks J Cabido, for a quality job at a fair price.

It went well. They were on time, polite, and professional.

Company told me they could put me on the schedule for today, Thursday 7-24/14. I went ahead and purchased a BD through Angie’s List. Victor, the owner’s son, tried to get me to pay him directly instead of through Angie’s List. The problem is that the phone numbers listed on their site are cell phone numbers. I called on Monday and Tuesday to confirm if I was still on their schedule. I was unable to get ahold of anyone directly, but Juliana, the scheduler, got ahold of me. She told me I was not on the schedule yet because I hadn’t paid. Unfortunately, they were not able to make an appointment on any day other than Wednesday 7-23-14, which was not my day off. I took that day off from work, and I could see that someone from JCabido called, but did not leave a message, I called Juliana, who confirmed that I was on the schedule, between 1-2. Juliana told me that call without a message was probably a call to confirm that JCabido was on their way. I ran next door very briefly, then returned…at 2:30, I called again. No matter how many times I have contacted them, I’ve not heard anything back. Now it’s Thursday, and no one has contacted me or followed up

Everything went well. They were professional about their work. They close off the area with plastic to keep the dust contained within the area that they were working. They completed the majority of the work on 7/21/14 and returned on 7/22/14 to finish up. Mr.Cabido is a very nice person. He and his crew were on time and did a fantastic job. I will recommend him as well as his service to others, and will be calling him back to do more work for me.

Once we were able to schedule the job, everything went well. It is my understanding that the provider was in the process of moving resulting in the delay of scheduling the job. They arrived on time and did all that they were supposed to do. I would have liked for the soap dish to have been reconnected to the wall but did not know that I would need new screws. Since I didn't have what was needed, I just had them repair the wall without reinstalling the soap dish. They were quick and thorough. All work was explained and was performed within the time allotted. The job did not require the full 4 hours.

Representative arrived on time and we reviewed the project. Afterwards he immediately began the job of installing drywall in the shower stall and ceiling. He prepped all drywall surfaces for tile installation.

All work was done rapidly and to a very high standard. Scheduling and communication was quite easy. I am extremely happy with the work and will look for opportunities to work again with this wonderful company. Thank you!!

They ran late due to traffic but called while in route. A manager came with worker who spoke largely Spanish. The worker worked well, cleaned up and notified us of completion. . They brought the enough drywall and other materials. Worker did extra smoothing out of other surfaces beyond the repair. He was polite.

I contacted JCabido Remodeling about their Drywall Big Deal. They responded quickly. We confirmed a date and time for my job. Victor, one of JCR's employees, called me about 25 minutes before they arrived. When he and Luis, his co-worker, arrived, I showed them what I wanted done. Victor explained the Big Deal to me before they started, which I thought was a good idea. Afterwards, he and Luis started to work. They did an outstanding job. They completed everything I showed them plus some. For example, they tightened some cornerbead screws .I would definitely use them again for any drywall job. Because I am always a little nervous when I am using a contractor for the first time, I monitored Victor and Luis closely. But, there was no need with these two men because they were focused and completed the job within my two hour time frame. Thanks for a great job.
