Very glad to update this review. The gentleman came at 11am sharp on the day we rescheduled. Was personable and did a thorough review of the damage. Was very pleased. This will be an ongoing review because I've rescheduled for Monday for the estimate - but I took time off of work to meet them for the estimate. FFS, I've already lost money. I hope they endeavor to do better and actually arrive on Monday.

Please do not do business with this company - they are exploiting their past good ratings on Angie's List to try and overcharge new customers. We called them and asked them for a quote to do drywall in our basement. They did not respond to the first call. After waiting a week, I called back and left another message because their ratings on Angie's List were so good. I finally got a call back and we set up an appointment. They sent Bernard to provide the quote - he was not very knowledgeable. In addition, as we walked thru the basement he kept trying to upsell me on other services that they provide. I was really interested in getting a quote for the job that we requested, not listening to a sales guy trying to get additional business. We received several quotes for the job and they were generally grouped within a range that varied by about $1000 (I will call this the market price). All were in that range except for J Cabido. The proposal from Bernard for approximately $20K and was more than three times the market price. It appears that they were just trying to soak me for as much as they could get because we have a fairly large and nice house. It seems that this company has had a good track record on Angies List, but they are now trying to use that good reputation to overcharge new customers. I seldom write reviews on Angies List, but I felt like it was my duty in this case to alert other potential targets for this type of overpricing. Buyer Beware.

Extremely professional and did very very good work. We have high ceilings in our home and also the fact that one of the holes was the nursery, complicated the job. They were prompt, professional and did really excellent work. We are in the process of finishing our basement and I would definitely haveJCabido Remodeling back to do some of that work in the near future.

I purchased the service of four hours of dry wall repair with one repair person or two hours with two repairmen. On the morning that the work was scheduled to be done I received a courtesy call saying that the repairmen were running a bit late but would be at my home shortly. When they arrived they called and stated that they were outside. I showed them the primary areas to be repaired in the basement. The area that was repaired was in a basement bathroom ceiling that is about 4 feet by 5 feet. One man was the foreman and translator, the other man performed the work, so basically both of them were not working. Instead of getting two men for two hours and really got one and a half men and I do not feel that I got good value for my money.I reviewed the work before they left and noticed that there was still a gap where the pipes were and asked that the drywall be fitted around the pipes. This would have required notching out a piece of dry wall and fitting it around the pipes. The area is about 10 inches long. They would not do this and told me that I should push a piece of insulation into that area. The purpose of hiring a professional to install the dry wall was so that the bathroom would look "finished". One of my major complaints is that they did not clean up after themselves AT ALL!. They left my bathroom a complete shambles with the old dry wall and new dry wall on the floor with all of the dust, dirt and debris that was created lying there. They took down a venetian blind from a window to install the drywall, laid it on the floor and left it on the floor as opposed to putting it back on the window. I also noticed that a towel rack had become dislodged and it was just propped up against the wall, not re-attached. While they were courteous I would have preferred that both men worked for the entire 2 hours as agreed upon/

It went very well, was very easy to schedule. Very willing to work around my schedule and availability. Showed up on time for the job, they were spot on to what they said they were going to do and also very clean when the work was completed.

He did a good job. One of the guys told me they were going to contact me for some future work but they didn't follow up. They were on time. He didn't speak English and somebody dropped him off but he seemed to know the work. The product appeared to be well done. He was very efficient.

It was okay. I think they did a good job. The price was good. Their quality was also good.

I was very happy with it. They showed up on time and they did a very nice job. I think what I had to be done was done in the 4 hours and the dry wall people came and they didn't charge anything extra. I would give them an 'A'. I was content with everything they did. it was a professionally done job. The pricing was very fair.

They did a decent job. They were timely, they communicated well, they cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was kept clean during the process.

They did a pretty good job as far as the ceiling and flooring were concerned and as far as the putting up a separate room for the air conditioning unit. They also attended to the walls. They put panels along the walls. I found them pretty good in everything except the panel work. In the panel work, they didn't know how to go around small obstacles. They didn't know how to finish the panel and make the room look good. There was nobody among them who knew how to patch small holes. The rest was fine. They came on time. They were very responsive. The quality was good. Their punctuality was fine.

Provider arrived on time. It was two guys - a bilingual manager and the guy who would do the work who only spoke Spanish. I talked to the manager and explained what we needed, and the manager left. The guy who did the work did probably the best drywall repair I've ever seen. The manager came back after 4 hours, checked the work, and they left. Space was cleaned up when done. I'd use them again for sure.

Went really well. Team was prompt and did a great job executing the work. Would highly recommend them.

Similar to prior jobs with JCabido Remodeling, work was performed professionally with absolutely no issues! The portico underwent a complete transformation, and consequently, has greatly enhanced the curb appeal of our home. Likewise, cosmetic issues associated with the door and vertical blinds were professionally addressed as they were restored to their original new condition and appearance. As a repeat customer, I would highly recommend JCabido Remodeling to others seeking a reliable contractor who provides high quality work.

He came out the first time to see the job. On the day they were to do the work after 30 minutes they wanted to leave. I still had work I wanted them to do. They fixed the basic part of the problem. I asked how much to paint a 12 ft wall and paid $600.00 I spent hours posting my paintings. He patched the holes, and didn?t help me to rehang the pictures. I am still owed 3.5 hours. I asked and didn't receive a receipt from him for the hours of work. I was able to find someone else to finish the job. They were always on time. I graded F on the price because he didn't honor the deal. Buyer beware! They repaired the ADT damage that was charged outside of the deal. Update 5/20/15: I filed a complaint with the office of consumer affairs and we reached a settlement so the complaint has been closed.

I was very pleased. His price was less than others quoted. They were punctual, professional and the work was good.

For one of our bathrooms, we were told the repairs would cost $580 to replace the leaky valve because they would need to cut into the wall, despite the fact that we already have a panel that gives us access to the valve. To this day we're not quite sure what their reasoning was. We thought this seemed suspicious, so we looked into how to repair it ourselves. Our bathroom is now fixed, by us, using $28 dollars worth of equipment and 30 minutes of labor. At no point did we feel we did not have proper access to the valve. After we repaired the valve, we contacted JCabido Remodeling to get a better sense of what their reasoning was. At this point we were mainly concerned that something else needed to be replaced that we had missed. They never got back to us. I guess they were too embarrassed to respond after we figured out they were trying to scam us. We will not be contacting them regarding our other repair and would not recommend their services.

They did a great job! They worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards.

It was fine. I had them do work upstairs and downstairs. They sent two techs.

Great company. Punctual, professional and made my bathroom look good as new. I particularly liked their detailed proposal with individual line items so you could clearly see a breakdown of costs.

Excellent, outstanding service from beginning to end! We love our door, there was absolutely no problem with JCabido, they were on time, the quality of their service is outstanding, the installation was performed with extreme professionalism and care.

The company got back to my voice mail within 24 hours and scheduled the work for the following week. The workers arrived on the day and time they scheduled. The holes were fixed beautifully and the area was left clean. Very satisfied!

It went very well. Scheduling was a bit difficult, but we liked everything else and would use them again.
