CRYSTAL SPRINGS WATER CO

Crystal Springs water company both unreliable and undependable. I receive water delivery every 4 months. When I scheduled a delivery, it had been cancelled twice. I closed the account on Sept. 15, 2020 and requested an empty bottle pick up. The pickup was scheduled today and it too was cancelled. I would never, ever recommend this ridiculous company to anyone. I can buy 3.96 gallon, easy to carry, Green Friendly, bottles of spring water at my local grocer for $5.00/bottle. Life is too short to deal with unreliable and undependable services like Crystal Springs Water Company. "Let the Buyer Beware."

Possibly the worst customer experience of my life. Deliveries were made that I didn't request. Dates were missed. I finally got tired of the terrible service and called to cancel. After sitting on-hold for 30 min., I was told they would pick up my empty bottles for a refund the following week. That didn't happen. I called in again and after sitting on-hold for 45 minutes, was told the pickup would be marked as urgent and I would receive a call from the route manager with a pickup time. That didn't happen. I called in again and after sitting on-hold for over an hour, I was disconnected.

The company's service has become erratic, inconsistent, and totally unreliable. Their customer service telephone line has become virtually non-responsive...often not answered, even after waiting 20 minutes or more. I have had this service for many years, but in the last year, it has become unreliable. I am looking for a company to replace them. If other AL member have a suggestion, I would like to hear.

If possible I would give this service negative stars. We signed up for water delivery through Costco. We called DS water services to set up our initial delivery date and they gave us a date that was like 3 days away. Perfect. Except they didn't give us a delivery window. Ok, whatever, my fiance was working from home that day anyway. The day went by, no water. We called again. They gave us another date. Still, no water. One more time we thought. Let's try one more time. Still, the water never came. The day after the last delivery date, the water finally came. Unannounced, but whatever. It was here. Hallelujah! We thought. Later that night I was showing my fiance how the bottom loader machine worked and we saw a bug. I said ah! a spider! Only it wasn't a spider. It was a baby COCKROACH. (I need to say here that we are extremely clean people and have not had 1 roach in the 3 years we have been living in this condo.) We then started looking at the machine and it was filthy. Like really filthy. It couldn't be, I thought. They wouldn't bring us a FILTHY COCKROACH RIDDEN DISPENSER, I thought. I took off the water catching tray and lo and behold, AN INCH LONG ADULT COCKROACH. Yay. We took the machine outside and called DS Water who said someone would be by to pick it up tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath. We called crystal springs and Michelle was not in the office(not surprised after reading other reviews.) I may drive over there and give them a piece of my mind. Long story short, this is a terrible terrible company

As a testament to how strongly I feel about Crystal Springs, let me start by saying this is the first review I've ever bothered to write (Angieslist or otherwise). They are AWFUL!!!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say that I had to call them at least once every 2 weeks to report that our delivery hadn't come, or that we were overcharged, or that they delivered the wrong amount of water jugs, etc. Each time having to sit thru 10min or more of hold music while trying to get an actual human on the phone. The people answering the phones were always nice and apologized profusely (I think they are trained to constantly apologize). But all that apologizing just ends up being infuriating when you have to call back again the next week for the same exact problem. I don't get what's so complicated about their business- I pay you. You put an agreed-upon amount of water on my porch. Its that simple. The last straw was when I was charged for a delivery that never came (despite me calling 3 times to say it hadn't come!!!). I cancelled my service and was supposed to be credited back the amount I was overcharged. Not only was I not credited back the money, they charged me again a couple weeks later for the next month of delivery! I'm currently waiting to hear back from somebody's supervisor about getting my money back. Our neighbors use them and hate them too, but they keep getting their water b/c supposedly it's the only brand with fluoride. I'd rather my teeth rot than deal with them anymore.

We put up with many delivery problems such as water not delivered at all, delivered late, incorrect number of bottles delivered, incorrect type of bottles delivered, etc. Finally discontinued service when we had no delivery, then rescheduled delivery three times without success. As for the product, they do have fluoridated spring water options, which I liked, and other companies do not have. However, the delivery is so poor, that even that does not make it worth using their service.

Chrystal Springs is serviced by DS Waters. Their service was horrible. They won't give a time window for delivery. They didn't show up the day they were supposed to. After rescheduling for the next day, they called at 6:20 pm to ask if they could come the next day. The water cooler stopped working properly after one month. It put out luke warm water. I would not recommend them to anyone, nor would I ever use them again.

Every single delivery thus far has been a fiasco. Sometimes it's a billing error, sometimes there are too many bottles, sometimes there aren't enough bottles. If I login to my account online, there are cases of individual bottles added to my order. I've never ordered individual bottles other than the free cases that came as a promotion with signing up. If you call customer service, they're very friendly and try to help. But, if you call twice, you'll get 2 different answers and 2 different solutions. The only thing that they have in common is that neither of them work. This company has some good employees but is too much of a mess to actually deliver service effectively. I wish I had never contacted them.
