They cleaned my dryer vent, including dismantling the flexible vent on the back of the dryer and I think that they shortened it. Cleaned up after themselves, even cleaned the usual dusty mess behind and under the dryer. I can't say enough about their work, their courtesy and professionalism. They said that I probably didn't need the cleaning, but I notice that the dryer now finishes a load in one try instead of the two it took before the cleaning. Would call them again in a heartbeat.

Told them to bill me, as I didn't plan on being home when they came. They called ahead and moved the date up, so I was here. I used them last year and found the price resonable. The job was done with no fuss or muss. Everyone I spoke with was pleasant and courteous. I will use them again. MAS Baltimore, Md.

My dryer vent was full of lint so I was very glad that I accepted the "big deal" for this. The servicemen worked quickly to clear my vent. I am very satisfied with their service.

Overall, it was excellent. Our gutters are clean and draining well. The crew noticed that one gutter was damaged (from ice build-up in the two rough winters we have endured in our area) and have offered us a good price ($140) to replace it. We are considering that favorably, although our finances may delay the repair for a couple of weeks.

This was an AL Big Deal. The owner was very easy to deal with, the crew showed up on time and did the work quickly, and the gutters are clean. There was some extra work for them on the garage gutters which have hats on them- the surcharge for them was low enough that I was embarrassed and sent them more. Nice guys, hard workers, and I will surely use them again. Honest and prompt, can't ask for more than that.

Man, that was wild! I tried an Angie's List special and it was easier and went even better than I expected. I paid the fee via my iPhone and really before I thought about it again the team was already here and done with the job!! I realized later that the folks at Chesapeake had called to let me know they had a crew in the area and that they could do it same day and though I appreciated the quick call after the order, I appreciated even more their proactive approach and the prompt service to get the job done...I will use them again...matter of fact I'm calling for another estimate right now!

Upon contacting Angie's List about a special offer for a $129 gutter cleaning service, I was contacted within the hour by Mr. Tsamouras, who scheduled me for the next morning! Two of his technicians arrived about 8:30 the next morning and were finished in less than 45 minutes, with excellent results. Chesapeake Property Services were very prompt, polite and professional, and I will call on them again!

They called me to schedule the appointment. They called me in the morning of the day the service was scheduled to let me know what time they would be here. They kept me informed every step of the way. Two people showed up. They did more work than what I expected. They worked the vent from both sides, through the laundry room and through the outside vent, which was under the deck. The lattice needed to be removed, and they never hesitated in doing what needed to be done to complete the job the right way. They did a really good. They leaned up after they were done. I just can’t say enough good things about them.

They were running a deal through Angie's List in March or April 2011. I got a good deal. They were very good. They were punctual and they followed up. The only little complaint that I had with them was that they had to move my washer to get to the dryer vent and they did not balance it when they put it back but it was a little thing. However, I could not do it myself.

I used the coupons from Angie’s List. They were very nice and everything was fine. They showed up when they said they would. They cleaned out the dryer vent and they didn’t leave a mess. They were polite. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The only reservation I would have on that is that, without the Angie’s deal, I wouldn’t think too much of their price. I wouldn’t have hired them, but with the Angie’s deal, the price seemed quite reasonable.

I contacted Chesapeake Home services and received an estimate within 24 hours based on my description, measurements of our deck (including number of steps) and the satellite image of our house using Google Earth. the power washing and deck preparation was completed the next week while we were at work. Since the forecast called for a chance of thunderstorms almost every day for the next ten days, there was a bit of a delay until the staining was completed. However, Mr. Tsamouras was immediately responsive when I emailed to inquire about the delay. I knew it was due to the weather, but wasn't sure if there was some other issue I was unaware of. I was assured that the next fair day with no rain in the forecast would be the day we would be scheduled. Good to his word, the crew came out the next fair day at around 6pm and worked for two hours pounding, sanding and spraying until the job was completed. Deck looks terrific and the best part was not having to do it ourselves. Having a professional company like Chesapeake on the job meant they were conscientious of our plants, and patio below, taking care not to accidentally paint anything other than the deck. they even removed the baby gate and swing so as not to harm them.

The men arrived as scheduled. They screwed together the vent pipe where it was loose in two places and then cleaned it out thoroughly. Since it apparently had not been done for a while, it was time-consuming. I was impressed with their skill and knowledge. Because the duct was so dirty and the pipe needed to be screwed together, I feel I got more than my money's worth.

My feelings are somewhat mixed with respect to this "Big Deal". This experience is a great lesson in carefully reading the offer and understanding what is being offered. A classic example in expectations and what is being offered. I want to be clear the Chesapeake Property Servies DID clean the dryer duct. However, I expected the vent tubing would be disconnected and from the rear of the dryer to insure that there was no build up of lint and the connection of the dryer and the vent hose. I also expected that the removable lent filter would abe removed from the front of the dryer and that area suctioned as well. This was not included in the service. I sent the owneer an email outlining me concerns in response to his request for comments re: the service call. I also suggested that he clarify or detail the actual services being provided so that individuls such as myself would clearly understand what services would be provided. I further suggested that he develop a flyer or handout to give to customers explaining what was to be done. He was very responsive to my concerns and indicated that he would prepare a handout for future clients. I think we both walked away from this experience with a better understanding of how the process can be improved for all parties concerned.

I told Gus that we were in a time crunch on Saturday with a prior commitment and he assured me that his people could make our deadline. He called that morning to give us a status report and then when we apparently didn't hear our doorbell, he called to tell me his crew was outside waiting. My husband, who had not read the estimate, told the crew they could skip the dryer vent cleaning (when I was in another room) but when I protested as I wrote out the check they went back up to the roof and I discovered that the previous owner had soldered on the vent cap and that's why my husband wanted them to skip that piece. Husband insisted on taking off cap himself, which he did, and then the dryer vent was cleaned. The crew used an alternative method for recapping the vent which actually makes more sense. So, I'd say these guys came prepared for contingencies. They made sure I knew what they'd done--good thing I had the checkbook! They finished way before we needed to leave. The entire process was professional from start to finish. They described the conditions of the vents and that they were actually cleaner than they'd expected.

It was like a 20-minute job and it went fine. Their price was about $30 less than one of the other companies that I talked to. It was a simple job that they had to do. They had to clean about 10 feet of hose coming from the drier to the outside.

Very professional, on time, and got right to the job.

This company was professional and did a good job despite a glitch in the original scheduling of the work. I actually called BGE Home to schedule this work, but Chesapeake Home Services operates as their subcontractor for duct cleaning. The work was booked through BGE Home and the check was made out to BGE Home when the work was finished. The company was a no-show on the day they were originally scheduled, due to an error on the part of the employee who scheduled the work, for which I received an apology call later and a discount from BGE Home for other work I was having them do. I rescheduled the job for the following weekend, and they were punctual, courteous, and professional, patiently answering questions. I was satisfied with their work overall.

Overall A. They did a better job than the HVAC expert I had come in to look at my furnace. They made recommendations for improvement. They did not sell me anything else and I paid the price they quoted.

I moved back in to my home (with my three children--and no furniture!) after renting it out to tenants for a year. The tenants left my house a mess. The smell was horrible. My furniture was being delivered in a couple of days (from the date I arrived back at my home) and it was important to me to have the ventilation system cleaned and sanitized before my shipment arrived.....and for the safety of my children! I emailed Chesapeake about setting up a service date. They were able to give my a service date just two days away from my contact date...and the same morning my furniture was to be delivered!!! No problem...the tech showed up bright and early and he did the job fast! But not rushed! He was courteous, and professional, and thorough. I will definitely use this company again in the future as well as refer him to my friends.

The men were very professional. They kept on the job the entire time even though it was terribly hot. They left everything as clean as before the gutter cleaning.

They did a good job, but how they went about made me mad. The guys that did the work jumped from one level of my house to another instead of climbing down the ladder. If I didn't know any better, they were just playing around, at the expense of my roof. Additionally, I don't like it when they use sub-contractors, not their own people. I know this keeps the cost down, but I'd rather sacrifice a little money for a little quality.

The crew showed up on time and were very professional and completed their work within an hour. We would highly recommend them!

We are thrilled with Chesapeake's work on our decks. Their price beat the five other estimates we received from other contractors by 200 dollars, but it's the work they did that is most impressive. They power washed and stained our three decks, all over the course of two days. They nailed down wood planks that had warped (which we didn't expect them to do), and the result is a deck that looks brand new and gorgeous. They were incredibly responsive and professional.
