We had difficulty scheduling the job because when the weather was good, they were unavailable. Then there would be snow and we had to delay. When they finally did come, there were two technicians. In the middle of the job, one of them fell off the roof - he was not using safety equipment as indicated. I had to call 911 and he was taken away by ambulance. On his way down to the ground, he ripped off a gutter, landed on my generator and bashed in the housing. The second man did not even stop work to help him - I heard the crash and called the ambulance. Ultimately, the contractor finished the job and paid to have all the repairs done at no cost to me. But the drama was unnecessary and unprofessional.

This company is no good. They like to put small amount to hook up and then charge 5 times that amount to customer. My friend also went through with them and they said the same thing. You don't qualify. If they put some thing like small, medium and large price, people can chose one or may not.. instead one price and then quality etc. is wrong to do. We are very much upset Angies List putting people like this and taking payments from us.

When I called the provider they were very polite on the phone and scheduled a convenient time to do the work. On the day of the scheduled work, they called me prior to the scheduled time and told me when to expect their worked. A few days after the work they called me to make sure I was satisfied with the work and asked me if I had any questions or needed any follow-up. The whole experience was very professional and they were very customer service orientated from beginning to end.

Everything turned out fantastic. They sent two guys and were very careful removing the vents. They were there for a large period of time and even showed me how to work the system. They even asked permission to start in another room. They went over and beyond what they were supposed to do. I was pleased with their services.

They did a very good job. They did the job while I was not at the home. The scheduling was good and they called me and told me when they were going to be in the area. The person I spoke with on the phone was courteous. They were very thorough and got everything taken out of the gutters.

Gus & Chesapeake Property Services did a great job cleaning the gutters on my home. The service was performed while I was away, and I returned home to visibly clean gutters. And an invoice outline the service which was performed, and recommendations for repairs on my gutters. We are in the process of scheduling a few additional services with Chesapeake Property Services as a result of a great experience the first time around.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I think everything is working out just fine. Because we had a horrible winter here they had to come back a number of times because of ice. They were very agreeable to doing that and my husband and I have no complaints about their service. Scheduling was difficult because of the weather, but that had nothing to do with the company. Even when they had a small window of opportunity to get out ladders and get up on icy roofs they did. It was a longer process than it should have been, but no fault of theirs. They did their best to come out here under very bad circumstances and do the best job they could. Their price was very reasonable.

Excellent. Came out immediately. No charge even though I thought they would probably charge me something. Just one of the best home contractors I have ever dealt with. Gus, owner, is friendly and makes sure you are satisfied.

Chesapeake did a thorough job including removing and replacing gutter screens. We have tones of trees on our property so the screens get covered. They arrived when scheduled and cleaned up. We'll use them again. We used a coupon and it cost a little extra to have screens removed and replaced. (Seems to be standard).

It went fine. They came when they said they would and they took about ten minutes to do it, and they were off. They did everything that I expected them to do. I would recommend them. They did a good job and they were quick.

After I insisted he called his shop about the garage, and they told him to do it, he cleaned only the front.

Had scheduling problems because of the weather but they handled them well and did a good job overall.

They were very professional and friendly. Came in and cleaned gutters. We didn't even realize they were here except for the blowing equipment. Took no time at all. Very satisfied.

I contacted Chesapeake after a referral from a friend. The owner, Gus discussed my needs and set up the appointment. A confirmation call with a 2-hour arrival window was received the day before the appointment. The crew arrived promptly during that timeframe. The crew was super professional, well organized and thorough. Upon arrival the crew leader reviewed what was going to be done and did a walkthrough the house with me. The whole process took less than two hours. I ALMOST gave a B for the price, not because I thought it was too high, but because Groupon had 8 offers for the same or similar services at 75-90% less. After cross-referencing all 8 of those providers with Angies List, I stayed with Chesapeake. None of the 8 were on Angies List and I didn't want to take any chances.

They did great work, but they kept calling and changing the time of my appointment. However, the quality of their work was excellent and so I have actually scheduled them for another service.

The front gutters were cleaned correctly. However, the back gutters had ice in them, and someone used a tool that made dents in the back gutter every 12 inches on the side and the bottom of the gutter. It was obviously visable. |I called Gus, the owner, to let him know what was done to the back gutter. He was responsive and offered to send a team to look at the back gutter.

I was contacted right away and they were quite flexible in scheduling. I had to change the date once and they were understanding. Workers arrived on day of schedule and were courteous and efficient. Gutters were cleaned well and no further work was needed.

Staff was prompt and professional. Arrived on time. Work was done well and in a timely fashion. Received a very nice follow up email from the owner.

When we purchased our home, I noticed that the dryer wasn't drying very well and the heat was backing up in the laundry room. After putting up with this for 2 years, and after trying to clean the vent ourselves, including the purchase of a new washer and dryer, we contacted Chesapeake. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very professional and was able to quell my fears that the architecture of the vent going 20 or so feet to the roof may be the issue. They scheduled the service, came out, and found the issue--lint caked at the output on the roof--problem solved.

A service that I had put off for months. I was very well pleased with Chesapeake Property Services and I plan to use them in the future for other much needed work on my property.

The service was great. The deal that we got for doing the work was quite a bit less money. We had used them before and it was higher when we had used them prior to purchasing the big deal. I am now retired, so I am now pinching my pennies and it was helpful. The owner emailed me, and asked if we were satisfied with the work. I told him that they may want to be careful with their prices, because they used to charge us 165 Dollars and there were people who were charging much lower but I didn't want to use them because they were not insured. So he said he would be conscious of that, and that they would be running a special offer on Angie's List and so we should keep an eye out for that. He also said that even if there wasn't a deal, we should get in touch with him, and he would offer us the rate of the coupon. The price was excellent, and it was much more reasonable for the service that they provided and the amount of time that they took. They took only 10 or 15 minutes, and it was quick and they did a good job. I was shocked that it has been costing me 165 Dollars previously for 10 or 15 minutes of work. I cannot see the gutters that are at the top level of the house, so I don't know how well they cleared those, but I can see the ones that are on my garage roof, and they were cleared very well. They were quite responsive, and I don't remember there being a delay. I wasn't in too much contact with the workers, but having contact with the owner on email, and having the agreement that I can call him in the future for a good price was very impressive. I will use them again in the future if they give me the price of the big deal. I may shop around for an insured worker if they give me the higher price.

The vendor stated that the coupon did not apply to my type of house. As a result, the cost doubled.
