This is the 2nd time I have used Gus' company for my gutter cleaning. I have over 200 linear feet of gutter and a hip roof that makes this challenging. Both times, CPS has been prompt, efficient, and left by roof and yard clear of all leaves and debris. I plan to continue to use them twice a year.

Very professional, I will use them again and for other services.

Workmen completed task in 30 minutes. They stated that the seams of 6 points of the gutters needed to be caulked and to call the main office for an estimate. I did and the charge is $30 per corner for a total of $180. The yard was left clean and in order. When I mentioned that the last gutter cleaning at my house was done for $75 by a handyman the contractor stated that handymen aren't licensed and bonded like his crew was.

The company did an excellent job and did a good job cleaning up debris after they were done.

This is the second time this year (the first being in Spring, 2014) we used Chesapeake and have every intention to use their services again in 2015. They are prompt, thorough, clean up after themselves, and after the work was completed, provided us with an inspection report of the gutter system including just how dirty the gutters had been. Gus, the owner, contacted me literally after I purchased the Big Deal and he is very easy to deal with. If you need your gutters cleaned, I highly recommend this company.

They did a fine job, and the guy was thorough, quick, and timely. The price seemed to be average. Their responsiveness was fine, and he was right on time.

There would be extra costs involved.

We had scheduled the service by email following a previous discussion of needed repairs. Chesapeake came as scheduled and carried out the work. I was not home at the time but it was professionally done. They then followed up to ask whether the work had been done well.

Great, two techs climbed the roof with leaf blowers and garbage bags, one did the back, other front. Done in a half hour. Crew chief gave me a copy of the gutter inspection report and mentioned that cleaning was the only maintenance action that was required at this time.

Easy scheduling. Didn't have to be home for them to clean gutters. Left a detailed description at door. Would use again!

Very well! The only reason I gave a B on punctuality is that we expected the work to be done sometime during Thanksgiving week, before the holiday. However, no fault of their own, we had rain and snow and that was a show stopper for any work on the roof and gutters. At that time, Gus contacted me via email [my communication of choice] and told me that they would definitely have the job done as soon as possible during the first week of December. True to his word, on Dec 3, when I was out running errands, I came home and found the job completed, debris removed and the paperwork and the company business card at my front door. The paperwork gave a summary of what the crew did and it included recommendations for repairs on our 31-year-old roof gutters. The technician's handwriting was a bit hard to read, so I planned to call and ask what they found and what repairs were recommended. Before I could make the call, Gus called a day or so after the work to follow up. I used that opportunity to praise him for a good job and I asked about the repair recommendations. Gus explained all of it to me and he gave me an estimate for the minor repairs. That weekend, I shared the information with my husband and we agreed the repairs were necessary and that the price for them was very reasonable. As a result, we are going to use Chesapeake again - this time for repair work. And, as a result of their very thorough and professional work and the conversation I had with Gus on the phone, we will be calling them in Spring 2015 for removal of the bud and tree flower debris that clog our roof gutters in June.

He found some roof shingles that were missing, so he told us that it wasn’t argent that they get replaced, but if we we’re going to have him come out again in the winter, he could do the replacement then if we wanted him to, so we went with that.

The initial service was good. I would use them again in the future.

The service was great. They actually showed up sooner than the schedule I requested. Before delivery Gus kept me aware by email of when they would show. The crew was quick and clean. I feel like i got more than my money's worth.

We purchased the $119 deal for a complete gutter cleaning. The were very responsive once the deal was purchased. It was easy to set up a date for them to come out. We did not need to be home which was great, they cleaned all the gutters and cleaned up any residue/junk that came over the sides. They left a form with what observations they had and any recommendations. Would recommend!

They couldn?t do my house for less than 500 dollars.

Fine print was not what I thought it was.

I received a prompt communication from the company and I spoke to someone there. He said, they checked out my house on Google maps and noted that we have a pitched roof. He said the big deal he offered would not include a pitched roof and he could do the job for us for an additional $75 (later reduced to $60). I was not interested. Hence my request for a refund.

I spoke with Gus to get things set up. I provided the service address and he noticed the the house has a hip roof, (this was explained in the fine print) and that there would be extra cost associated with it. He tried to work a deal to bring it down, but ultimately not far enough for me to continue. Seemed respectable and knowledgeable. I will consider for other work in the future.

Crew came to my house on time and performed the service fast and to my complete satisfaction. They cleaned around the house all the dirt that was in the gutters. Very satisfied and will call them in the future for new cleaning.

Two crew members arrived on time and as per my request handed me the receipt on the front end of the day because I was unsure whether I'd be around when they finished. They worked hard ALL day and did a magnificent job. They were professional and efficient and considerate, making sure to ask whether they could park their truck in front of my driveway. They also took pains to help me decide which colors I should use, both for the boards and the gutter. I also had a good experience with their project manager, Gus, who worked with me to schedule this visit, quoted me an accurate price, and followed up afterward. This company does a great job, and I recommend them highly.

Administratively efficient. Didn't have to be present. Really no way to tell about the gutters themselves. Identified some repairs (rehanging gutter and sealing several gutter seams) which I was fortunately able to have done cheaper by somebody else.

The team of 3 arrived as agreed upon. They did a very thorough job. After the cleaning they provided a report on the condition of the gutters and downspouts. I would definitely do business with this company again!

I purchased a Big Deal for gutter cleaning. Service provider and I spoke by phone shortly thereafter and, without ever seeing my home, Gus told me "since your house is 2.5 stories in back, I need to charge you $35 extra." My house is NOT 2.5 stories - in back or anywhere else!! I told him that my lot is flat and level with no elevation change and no walkout basement; there is not any way that any part of my house can even be remotely perceived as 2.5 stories. He continued to argue and said that I obviously didn't understand the policy (I have an advanced degree in a scientific field ? I get the idea of ?2.5?). I asked him to wait til he was on-site to assess the charge, but I wanted to keep the Big Deal since at the time it seemed to be a good price. The issue was left unresolved, but that stubborn insistence on the incorrect elevation of my home was the first strike. Nothing like being not only incorrect in your assessment of an unseen situation but also inflexible in your policies. He said they would schedule me the week of July 7 - 11 and that he would call the day before to let me know they were coming. As of Friday July 11th I had not heard from them. On Wednesday July 16, after a number of heavy rains and still no call, I contacted Angie?s List to cancel the Big Deal. I found another vendor (who I have since used and given a very high rating). Gus received notice of my cancellation of the Big Deal and proceeded to call me at home at 8:50 pm on Sunday July 20th. Nothing like haranguing a customer on a Sunday night. He harassed me about canceling the Big Deal and called me a liar two different times during that call. I assumed at the time of our original call that he was looking at something like Google Maps to view my house and make his erroneous judgment about the house being ?2.5 stories in the back?. I mentioned Google Maps in my discussion with him when he called me on Sunday the 20th. He called me a liar for assuming he used Google Maps and told me he used Bing. So there?s another strike ? calling me a liar because I made a faulty assumption about which mapping service he used. Apparently they HAD completed the service on Monday July 14th but hadn?t bothered to call as they said they would, either to let me know they were coming nor to follow up (which they never said they?d do, but would probably be a good idea). They apparently had left a small receipt attached to my front door after their visit. Problem is, I don?t use my front door and the door is clearly marked to indicate this fact. There is a visible (~ 8? x 10?) sign that indicates not to leave anything on the door or front porch, but rather to leave everything in a bin by the garage. They decided that sign didn?t apply to them, left the receipt on the front door anyway, then blamed me for not finding it when it was left on a door I very clearly do not use ? so he called me a liar a second time for contacting Angie?s List to cancel the Deal based on my assumption they had not come out when in actuality they had. So yes, they completed the work. But for arguing with me right out of the box about their incorrect and inflexible policy regarding 2.5 stories; for not contacting me when they said they would to arrange the visit; for leaving the receipt where they very clearly should not have and then calling me a LIAR for not magically finding it; for calling me at home in the late evening on a Sunday to harass me; and for then proceeding to call me a LIAR a second time about the relatively innocent statement regarding Google vs. Bing, they earn an F from me. I will not use them again and will not recommend them.

The crew arrived on time, worked fast and were very thorough and professional.
