I was immediately impressed when Steve answered the phone himself. I did not get an answering machine or told to "please wait, your call is important to us." My computer had never had a problem in the four years I have had it, so this was totally new to me. The companies that were recommended to me by friends were totally impossible to get through to. Steve asked what time was convenient for me and arrived at the specified time, calling a half hour before he arrived as he said he would do. As I am a grandmother with not too much "computer savvy," he was very patient and taught me many things about my computer that I didn't even know. The problem turned out to be "spyware" which I apparently acquired when I downloaded a Christmas screen saver! He cleaned up the computer and now things are running as good as the day I got it.
Description of Work: My computer was running slow and I could not access the Internet. Comcast said things looked good from their end, but for some reason I could not get onto the Internet from my end. Several "funny" things were also appearing on my screen. I was looking for someone who would come to my home and not have to take the computer to a repair shop.
