Chesapeake House Cleaning

Even though we had a major storm come through the area the night before and the team assigned to me didn't have any power at their homes or office, they managed to get a team out to me. They were in constant contact with me to keep me apprised of what was going on and what my options were. They were very understanding when I explained that I couldn't reschedule.

First time I've ever hired a cleaning service for my home and its my plan to do so at least once a month.

They got back to me hours after my search. I loved it. They also gave me a quote over the phone which was very convenient. They have been to my home once and did an outstanding job. I am very happy so far with everything including their customer service!

Laura messed up on some specifics we spoke of before she had her crew start in regards to timing and personnel and, most importantly, in contacting us ahead of time to let us know she was making changes to what we agreed on. When the crew arrived, it was one person instead of two, which - naturally - took twice as long, causing me to miss an appointment with someone who was in from out of town for one day. Again, had we been called ahead of time to know about a change in personnel  thus changing the time at the house  then we could have made adjustments. But without that prior knowledge, I was stuck with what was happening that day. I phoned Laura to let her know that, while we thought the individual who showed up was very nice and seemed quite competent, I was confused and a little put off by what had occurred, and she agreed, we never heard back. And that may be the biggest thing. We were brand new clients. This was the first time Chesapeake Cleaning would be coming, and there were some problems. As a business owner, myself, the first thing I thought would definitely happen would be a follow up call. How was the work, overall, after all was said and done? How can [they] make things better? Can we salvage the relationship and carry on? No contact was forthcoming from Chesapeake Cleaning AT ALL. Never. We were not about to chase down a company that could not even master that basic business etiquette of respect, let alone expect them to do better in continued working relationship. These ladies do a pretty good job overall. They cleaned my three floor townhouse in an hour. My only concern is that they will miss things because they are cleaning so fast. They are coming back every two weeks and I will continue to monitor their work. I was pretty satisfied overall with their first cleaning visit. The ladies sent out to my house were very friendly as well.

They did an amazing job cleaning up a rental house that we were vacating. The place looked better than when we had moved in. Very professional and thorough. The ladies were friendly and accommodating as we were bustling around still loading cars so they had to work in the rooms we had already vacated. I highly recommend this service and am only sorry that we moved to another state and can't use them weekly!

They arrived on time and worked diligently until the project was completed. I was very satisfied with their work product.

Chesapeake Cleaning Company was very flexible in scheduling me on Wednesday for a Friday cleaning (my normal house cleaner hurt her back). The ladies were prompt and courteous, and the bathrooms which REALLY needed the most cleaning were done well. The only complaint I had is that the ladies missed cleaning many very obvious dusty items - TVs, tops of shelves and toilet paper dispensers, etc. And I had to follow up their cleaning with spot cleaning of my own.

Laura called me within minutes of submitting my request on Service Magic. Once scheduled, there was a bit of a mix up due to my requesting a time change but she quickly resolved this, by tracking down the cleaning ladies and redirecting them. Lauren and her assistant were personally, did exactly what I wanted quickly and efficiently. I will be calling them on a monthly basis. Thank you

First service was last week. So far so good, I am very pleased with the service provided.
