The two guys that showed up were very friendly. Thats the only good thing I can say. I purchased a $59 deal for unlimited vents cleaned. They came out and walked around my home. After the walkthrough, they told me it would be an additional $599 to do the cleaning! My home is only 10 years old and everything is in great shape. Only a cleaning was needed. These guys definitely tried to rip me off. They ended up leaving without doing g any work and now I need to contact Angie's List for a refund. Definitely don't recommend.

Very well. They saw a few issues and called to make sure i was ok with the extra work that needed to be done. No hard selling. A company i will call again for sure.

Two gentlemen came and explained what they were going to do. They accomplished their task promptly and efficiently. Very pleased with their demeanor and their work.

We are recently arrived in this home and likely no one had done any cleaning of the air ducts for years before we moved in, so we were expecting a mess. Mike arrived promptly and was courteous, educational and efficient. He removed all the old filters (including one with a dead rodent on it! aagggh!!) and recommended possible replacements without strong-arming us into buying any particular type. And while he did charge us more than we had originally planned, the scope of the project was much greater than we'd anticipated, so it was appropriate. Now we know when to clean the filters and who to call if we need this done again.

Arrived on time. Performed the cleaning service.

Great. However my 13 year old 1500 Sq. Ft home had never had this done so the basement was messy afterwards. I recommend moving objects away from unit and duct work prior to work being performed. ($377 total including $99 for deal.)

Lousy! While he was cleaning the vents in the attic he moved my condensation drain away from the pump. This caused the tray to overflow (20 gallons of water) and caused water damage on my 1st and second floor ceilings. I just paid a plumber/HVAC vendor to come to drain the train and reattach the condensation drain at a cost of $95. Now I have to have the ceiling repaired or replaced in 3 rooms. The damage is very bad. To add insult to injury when my plumber/HVAC vendor went into the attic he found that Richmond Restoration had not properly attaced the return vent. Also, the deal was NO deal. It was advertised as $59 for all vents, but when he arrived I was told that that did not cover the dryer vent, the main duct. Plus he charged an additional $81 for Sanitization. So Richmond was paid $169 instead of $59.

However, Sears or other air duct cleaning can do all different shapes of air ducts using snake-shape cleaning tools. Professionals should have special small gauge vacuum or snakes to clean the narrow air ducts. But they dont have these and they didn't do the job right! > They also said since my furnace (for heating) is relatively new and does not need to clean at all. Instead of cleaning the air duct, they said the only they can do is to sanitize the air duct (Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution). I didn't have much choice but said yes. It was done too quick (only 5 mins). I don't think they did a good job and I am not satisfied by their performance. This is definitely not the service I was looking for!

They ultimately did a very good job. However, I bought the $99 vent cleaning deal...well, that was for cleaning nothing but the surface vents. It would cost several hundred dollars to get the full vent cleaning of the main vents. This borders on scam or bait and switch. They were there, so I went ahead and had the full ventilation system cleaned...which you really had to do to get the job done right. I blame Angie's List for allowing this to happen without warning. Next time, I would use these guys again, but I would get competitive bids...there was no time to do that this time.

Not satisfied with how there was a lot of up-selling and how we were forced to buy more services.

The price jump from the original $59 deal to include some other work I requested was a lot and seemed too high for the work I had requested to be added.

It went great -- Mike and his helper cleaned out all registers & ductwork and the acoil as well. They were there approximatly 2 hours. It really needed to be done they showed me some of the debris that was in the ductwork, I'm happy we got that completed.

It went very well. Mike and his helper are very professional as well as neat and clean. They were there for roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. The dryer vent hose is very short so that went very quickly. They did a great job and will use them again in the future.

Mike contacted us the day after I sent him an email and came out to the house 3 days later. He was right on time and got everything done and cleaned up in no time.

They arrived, promptly located the vent, cleaned it and verified it was working correctly. It went so well I did not have to do anything.

It went good. They were very efficient. I just used them for the advertised service. They were trying to push me to get $500 - $1,000 worth of work. They did a good job that I paid for. They pushed me to buy additional services. I said "no" to them. They were pushy. I didn't pay extra. They were on time.

They recommended a $109 cleaning. I just wanted them to clean the whole system. They were good. They completed the job in two and a half hours. I didn't expect it to be $250. They were on time.
