Description of Work: Cleaned all A/C vents as well as dryer vent. Easy to schedule, showed up on time, were polite and courteous and did a great job cleaning the vents.

Description of Work: Overall, the service was outstanding, Michael did a great job cleaning and sanitizing the vents, I can even say, that my house feels warmer at a lower temperature setting. The air smells clean, and my daughter has no more allergies. I would definitively use Richmond Restoration services again. Michael, showed up on time. I showed him the vents and the returns, he said that there was additional $15 because the service included up to 12 vents and 1 return, my house has 7 vents and 2 returns. The receipt from Angie's was "$100 for Complete Home Air Duct Cleaning". I paid the additional $15, since it would not make any sense, have him clean only one return, and leave the other one dirty because it was not included in the price of $100. Michael offered sanitizing the vents for addtional $63, to kill mold, mildew, dust & pet mites, airborne bacteria and other elements. Sanitation lasts 6 months. I chose this add on service because it will last through the winter. When job was finished, Michael showed me all the stuff he cleaned from the ducts, and this service is definitively worthy, specially if it is done thoroughly as Michael did.

Description of Work: The first thing they did was go around counting the AC vents and returns in order to quote me a price as the offer is specific as to what is included. I went ahead and authorized the additional work. They cleaned each duct with a wire brush and vacuum and spent some time in the attic where the AC unit is located. I did not observe any video inspection. They also cleaned the dryer vent even though the offer was only to inspect it. My only complaint was after the ducts were cleaned and the AC was turned back on, soot blew out of the vents and covered anything and everything that was beneath the ceiling vents. I only wish the contractor had advised me to cover the furniture before turning on the AC. I will be better prepared next time.
