Arrived on time, explained procedures, did them. explained poor half-baked filtration system someone had rigged up on oil burner and told me how to fix it, tried to sell me additional service and was gracious about being turned down. Nice person to have in the house.

Arrived on time. Informed me of extras I may want done while he was here on a special offered on Angies List and fully explained my questions. I opted for some add-ons. He proceeded to perform his work. He was very professional, courteous and thorough. He worked clean and completely cleaned up upon completion. My house now smells fresh and the dust is at a minimal. My wife's allergies have stopped and we are very happy with his service and prices.

The offer on Angie's List offers ductwork cleaning for $89. Be careful - $89 will not get you much cleaning at all. We ended up having all the ductwork in our house cleaned and it cost $610, plus the $89. Our house is about 2700 square feet, just so that you can compare. In fairness, this is possibly a fair cost for the work done - however, the $89 "big deal" from Angie's List creates a misconception. Because it is not possible to view their work, I am assuming that they did a good job. If I had known the total cost for this service, I would have thought again about having this done.

I put some N/A because this type of service is hard to judge as far as effectiveness since you cannot see the results. However, they were very professional and timely. I only have good things to say about the work. As far as price, I have nothing to compare it to but I have 2 heating/AC systems (1 larger downstairs and 1 smaller upstairs). It's a 3250 square foot house. The downstairs only cost approx $300 including the "special" $89 dollar deal. I do think that it was expensive considering that there was a "deal." I mean how small a house did they expect to cover on $89 if the 2000 sq ft of mine cost $300 which included the deal?

The appointment process went smoothly, and the two employees from Richmond were prompt in arriving at the agreed upon time. They were customer-focused, explained clearly what they would be doing and provided me with an estimate of the cost, which I accepted. Thereafter, they worked diligently for more than four hours to complete the work. They were meticulous in addressing every issue, and helpful by making suggestions to me concerning maintenance after the leave. Although I spent more money than I had originally intended, I believe it was a good value for the work performed and I would definitely hire them again and recommend them without reservation to others.

This Co said they would come at 8:30 am and thats the exact time they came .I have never had my dryer vent cleaned but after they did there work I was glad I spent the money and had it done.

The vendor arrived early (after calling to confirm that was acceptable). Workers were friendly and professional. Would recommend and/or use again.

Everything went very well. He even vacuumed the carpet and furniture under the vents (all were wall or ceiling vents).

I am not happy with the way this worked. Instead of removing my vent covers for my heating system, he drilled holes in my heating vents in order to clean them. I felt that it would have been a better option to just remove the vent covers to be sure to clean properly. I never got to see any sort of camera results, although the Big Deal mentioned that it included a camera inspection. Now I feel that my vents are damaged, even though there was aluminum tape placed over the vent cover holes that were drilled. He was on his phone quite a bit while he was in my house, and he didn’t do a great job of communicating with me before or after the service, and he seemed to be in a big hurry to leave.

The cleaning went well; they showed up on time; checked in with me; gave me all the details as a property manager. I was very pleased.

They showed up right on time, we're professional, friendly and completed the dryer vent cleaning service in about 25 minutes. We paid by credit card via an iPhone swipe, which was super convenient but they also accept checks. I would definitely consider using Richmond for future services.

They cleaned all my vents (20+), return vent, sanitized and dryer vent.

They did a wonderful job. Very thorough. The last company I had hired for this job left my house a mess. Richmond Restoration was wonderful. They didn't leave me with any mess. I will definitely hire them again.

On Oct. 27th, the first appointment available was Dec.16th which I took. They called on the morning of the 16th to say they were on the way. Arrived as promised. Looked over the vents and ducts and after some figuring told me it would be an additional $289. You see the offer that was titled by Angie's List as "89 Complete Home Air Duct Cleaning" was not really for a complete system unless you lived in a 10x10 house. The $289 number was discounted to $250 which with the $89 for the original coupon, brought the total to $339. This is not the first problem with these kind of coupons and I will probably not use any more coupons from Angie's list, although I will continue to use the ratings. Having said that, the service appeared professional and thorough. They (2 workers) spent a busy 2 1/2 hours or so the overall cost was really not bad, just nothing like what I expected. They put back things as they found them and the overall experience outside of the coupon issue was good. Angie's List needs to be much more diligent about the exceptions and add-ons that seem to be normal for many of the coupons that they are repeatedly pushing (ad nauseum). Notes: Quality was difficult to assess since I will not climb into the ducts to check. My rating was a ballpark mark. Responsiveness was downgraded due to the length of time from contact to when they had an available slot. They did follow up quickly when contacted.

Overall, it was a good experience. They arrived on time for the appointment, did a good job with the cleaning, and responded to an issue in a satisfactory manner. They also seemed knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. However, the crew showed up in an unmarked vehicle, and the bill wasn't on any form of company stationery which I found unusual. Although, they did email a receipt to me with their contact information which I appreciated. Ultimately, there were some hiccups, but everything turned out well.

I purchased the duct cleaning special offered by Angie's list. Although I anticipated an additional charge over and above the special price, I was quite surprised at the amount. However, Mike was responsive to my concern and the job was completed to my satisfaction.

It was fine, but I am not sure that the camera inspection was done. I don't recall getting any info about it.

Michael was a wonder. We do not have problems with our air conditioning vents; however, our dryer vent is a jerry-rigged nightmare. I have been unable to find someone to tackle it, and was having problems drying clothes. Furthermore, I worried about the fire hazard. Michael had the monster cleaned out lickety split, was cheerful and gave us excellent, understandable descriptions of what would be best for future maintenance. I bought an coupon for $75 (dryer vent cleanup) from angies list online. only problem with him to get an appointment. You have to call many times for schedule. Work they done was ok.

The deal was for $89.00, but when the provider arrived, the cost to complete the job for my house would have been at $400.00 more than advertised service. Although the provider was very nice and respectful, we were disappointed at the huge price discrepency and declined the service. We had no way of knowing that the cost would be so great.
