Terminix - Woburn -Termite & Pest Control

I’ve been using their services for years. I am on an annual contract and they come 4 times a year. If I have any problems, they would come out at my request. They deal with my rodent problems. They are pretty available when I call them for emergencies.

I felt like it was a total sales pitch as opposed to a pest inspection/estimate. In fact, his inspection did not turn up anything that I did not already tell him beforehand. I was fishy as to his pushiness as a salesman, and followed up with two other estimates, both of which indicated that termite treatment was not necessary at the present time.

I don’t know how much I spent because I have an annual contract with them. They generally send the same person to our house which we like a lot. So we don’t have to worry about letting a complete stranger in. He is very thorough and always arrives on time. They give us good advance notice of when they’re coming for their quarterly service. They just do a good job. They never give us any kind of hassles. They just come right out and do their job. He is very professional. He is a very nice guy. He is very thorough. We would use their services again in the future.

So far they are okay. They come out four times a year for a general spray and I've been using them for three years. They are convenient. I didn't know who to pick at the time when we needed so I just called them and they came out. They seem to be okay and I have no complaints about them. They are a little high on price. They call and they come right out.

We inherited them because they had done a termite treatment on this house before we bought it so we were able to take over the policy. We chose to keep them because termites are a problem in our neighborhood. The inspections have been fine but we're not sure how comprehensive it is because we have found termite damage. In fact they are coming back this afternoon to treat areas. We wish that had been caught sooner. It is an expensive policy to carry on. We are sure that the quality of their work is fine but sometimes we are not quite sure how thoroughly they inspect because they only inspect the inside if we are home. I recommend being home when they do the inspection. I've called them back to do the internal inspection. I recommend staying on top of them.

I called them up, and they sent a person who was available in the area. I have a yearly contract with them. They were responsive. I will use them in the future.

They were fine. They did their job and they gave the price that they said they were going to. There was nothing special.

It took them three trys, but they eventually succeded. They are a little pricey, but the made good on their guarantee to remove the pests. I continue to use them since ants have a way of coming back.

The situation got worse. The mice population in my home increased. The service technician was not up front about the full cost for on going service.

They are always very prompt. There is no problem with their customer service. They do a good job.

We think we paid $390 for the regular check-ups and we might have paid a little more for the installation of the traps. They are a large company. We have been using their services for the past 12 years for various rodents. Hence, we called them to do the termite protection too. We?ve been very happy with them. The technicians come on time. They are proper, clean and do good work. They explain the job to us. We have no complaints about the company at all. They are certainly not the cheapest in the area, though.

We have a termite contract with Terminex. We called about a potential carpenter ant problem and were told we needed a seperate contract. An appointment was made for this morning between 8-10am. My husband arranged to stay home to discuss the problem with the Terminex Rep. At 10:45 we got an auromated phone call asking us if the visit had occurred. I pressed the option for no and was directed to a customer service rep who asked me what I wanted. I told her that Terminex had called me-I didn't initiate the call. I gave her our phone number and she checked on the status of the appointment. She said that another "urgent" call came in and we were bumped and needed to make another appointment. I explained that our day had been scheduled around their appointment and wanted to speak to a manager. She said she could page her manager and ask him to call me. We didn't receive a call back from the manager. A Terminex associate called and left a message saying he never was assigned our appointment and had no record of it and would be at our house at 10:15. When he arrived we declined service. We have had the same problem with the termite contract appointments. They call and make an appointment and don't show up. We felt that termite inspections aren't an emergency and our appointment should not have been bumped for another customer. We would never recommend them and will not use them in the future. An internet search after this morning's experience turned up multiple similar complaints against this company. So we signed up to Angie's List to look for a new pest control vendor.

I was scheduled for a inspector to come out and inspect the house, but he did not show up. The next day the regional manager came out and inspected the house and gave me a quote. The vapor barrier was free and this company is flexible in their pricing.

Their representative came as scheduled, inspected the house and proposed several plans to ensure we have a home free of termites. We picked up their "ultimate protection plan". Quality is N/A at this time as we cannot judge until there is a need for treatment, if any.

I was very pleased with them. They were polite. They came when they said they would. They explained things to me. It was an overall good experience. I would recommend them an use them again.

They come and spray the interior and exterior every three months, or as needed for all types of insects. The service is great, and Kevin Plante, my technician makes all the difference. He's very responsive, pays attention and does what I ask. I've dealt with other technicians and a lot of them just try to get in and out, but he sticks around and actually takes the time to get everything done properly.

They are very nice people. They are very efficient and quick. They are also really professional. They answer all of our questions and keep us informed of how the pest control is working.

I like the fact that they will send you your reminder cards to make the appointment. I have them spray the out side of the house and that seems to keep all the bugs out. It works well. If for any reason we should develop a problem, all we have to do is call and they will have someone out to treat again. They are very professional that way. I think their service is well worth it. I have piece of mind.

This was recently done so I wouldn't know if the work they did has paid off but the good thing is that they keep coming back to put in traps and other things outside. We signed a contract with them and we're satisfied with the experience.

After our ant problem was rectified, Terminix kept coming to our door to try and sell us their product and an annual plan. For that reason, I will not do business with them again. Their sales practices are way too aggressive and pushy for my taste. They should readily improve them because they get really bothersome.

Were fast to come out. Terminix Rep quickly diagnosed that the swarm was a seasonal citronella insect. He was extremely thorough in inspecting the basement and areas that are most prone to termites. He pointed out potential problem areas that we should take care of so as not to be attractive to termites. He pointed out a beam in the basement that appeared to have had termite damage in the past and likely treated with a chemical that at one time was purchasable in hardware stores. Mapped a plan and options for treatment and prevention. Was very informative, professional and thorough, without any sales push whatsover.

They are doing a good job with keeping termites out though they have missed appointments and they often do not call me to say when they are coming. When my contract comes up for renewal I will be re-evaluating. Price is per year (based upon the size of the house 3500sq/ft of duplex home).

PUNCTUAL. THOROUGH. INSPECTED THE WHOLE PROPERTY. QUOTE WAS COMPETITIVE.

TERMINIX CAME OUT AND INSPECTED FOR POWDER POST BEETLES IN ATTIC. THEY QUOTED $2000 TO SPRAY TO GET RID OF THEM. THIS SOUNDED VERY EXPENSIVE TO ME AS THE WORK WOULD ONLY TAKE ONE MAN 4 HOURS AND WITH NO EXPENSIVE CHEMICALS. GOT A QUOTE FROM AN OTHER REPUTABLE COMPANY WHO PERFORMED THE EXACT SAME WORK (ONE MAN, 4 HOURS, SAME CHEMICAL TREATMENT AND APPLICATION METHOD). THE OTHER COMPANY'S QUOTE WAS $300. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WENT WITH THEM AND GOT RID OF THE PROBLEM.

WE HAVE SPECIFIC QUARTERLY DATES, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO COME AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY DO NOT SHOW UP OR CALL ON THOSE DATES. THEY CONSTANTLY RESCHEDULE. THE SERVICE ITSELF IS EFFECTIVE WHEN YOU GET IT.
