Terminix - Woburn -Termite & Pest Control

I had every kind of ants in my house and my last year was terrible. Terminix were professional. They were nice and very helpful. I had four different kinds of ants and after Terminix had come and gone, I never saw the three kinds of ants again but for some reason I couldn't get rid of the sugar ants, last year. They had come once in April, then in May and they got rid of the black carpenter ants, and at another time they got rid of the red ants and other kind of flying ants which were on one of the plants that I have. They sprayed the house and did everything that they could. Especially for the sugar ants, they did everything. They placed little trays to which they would crawl into to get food and water. I was pleased with them overall as they tried everything to get rid of three ants out of four but I was really not happy that they couldn't get rid of the sugar ants. The previous technician has left and I have a new technician on it. He told me that if the sugar ants come back this year then he has some other ideas that might get rid of them. I used them because my mother had used their services for her house and she had a great success with them. I would be using them in the future if needed.

We were unhappy with them after a while and discontinued the service. They never sent us a bill and they sent a collection agency after us This was even after we requested a bill from them. We also didn't feel like the services were doing much for us, we didn't feel like it was doing any good. We kind of felt like we were just throwing our money away at one point.

I have been very happy with them. They come every 3 months. I have had a terrible ant problem about a year ago and they came. It was very, very helpful. It was great. They are a little pricey. It was $ 350 originally and I am on a maintenance plan and it is $ 35 each time they come out. It is nice to get the same guy every time. He is very friendly, very polite and very professional. I can’t say enough about him and he is just sweet. I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

They are very reliable and responsive.

I have had no problems since they started and they do a very good job. They are also very very nice in person.

I don't like that they try to get you into a contract in order to guarentee their work. I didn't like that they drilled in the concrete and the distance between the drilling didn't meet the standard.

It was really hard for me to determine what they did for the price I was charged. They wouldn't come when they said they would.

I would give them all A's. I would recommend them because they are very responsive.

They always make you sign a contract for a year, which I don't like because they continue to come at times even when you don't need them. I will not continue to use them after my contract runs out.

The job went well. The gentleman was friendly and professional. He explained what he was looking for and how the process worked. I don't know if I would use them again; it would depend on the job. They were more expensive than a local place that I called but I had to evaluate because they are a nationally known company with a track record versus a little independent place.

It was fair. I was not too pleased with them, the price was a little high. I thought I got a rip off.

They've been great. They are usually really, really upbeat. They seem to know what they are talking about. They are well-informed.

I have lived in my house for over 30 years and never had a problem. I recently started having a problem with ants. Terminix came out right away and solved the problem. I am on a contract with them now, and they come out just about every 3 months.

The guy was great, but we just don’t need him anymore. It was an ongoing contract and I think it was about $210 a quarter or $70 a month. The guy was thorough, knowledgeable and he showed up. If he said he was going to be here at whatever time, he would be here. He was pretty much reliable.

They did a very good job. They were very professional, and they didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need.

Their work is careful and thorough.

I have been trying to get in touch with them about this issue, and they were not responsive. I went and contacted my own contractor to properly fill in the holes in the concrete. I am at the point now where I have to get my contractor to fix their problem.

The first year was good, and they gave me a good deal on a second year. They never came back, and left many traps in my house. I called them that year, and they told me that they would come back and get out the rest of the traps, and that was ten years ago. I have tried to get rid of some of the traps, but have only gotten a few of them. They would not even talk to me when I called them.

They come regularly and they got rid of the ants. They call before they come. They are polite and it's been good. We haven't had any complaints.

Their work is very satisfactory. I’ve been using them for probably four or five years now. I think they are very confident and very good. I haven’t had any problems with termites as far as I know. They confirm that I’m in good shape. They come out once or twice a year to fumigate. I don’t know how much I spent on their services. I think basically they come and I find their reports reassuring. Their prices are not exuberant although I haven’t done a lot of price shopping. I haven’t compared their prices to anyone else. I don’t know what other companies charge. They give you peace of mind and that’s why I use them. That’s the most important thing. I haven’t had a problem with the quality of their work. They come when they are scheduled to come. I don’t have to call them. I’ve been very satisfied. Most of their inspections are done outdoors and so no one has to be home. As far as I know, they come when they say they are coming. They do their job. They come in between their services if need be and apply their product again. There was never a situation for me where I had to call them on an emergency basis. They are very professional. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

They are a little pricey but they are good. I have a yearly contract. They are punctual. They do what they say they are going to do and it seems to be effective.

I have a long standing contract with them. I would recommend them. I spend on an annual basis but what I spend is worth my peace of mind. Prior to that we had a termite and a carpenter ant infestation and a room had to be knocked off off our house to be rebuilt and a sill had to be replaced as well, so you know for sure that I am going to do preventative maintenance. I had had another company in the past for a very short period of time. I pitted both companies against one another on a two way calling. For prices and services I compared one to the other. For the same services, Terminix had the lesser cost. I had had problems with the other company when they were treating for termites or carpenter ants, one of their hoses burst and the pesticide was expelled into my driveway and they did not tell me. That evening I went for my usual walk with my dogs. One of my dogs fell on it, became poisoned, and almost died. Ever since Terminix has come out, my house is free of pests.

I have cancelled service with them. I believe that they are overpriced and what they provide as a service can be done by anybody else. I believe the average homeowner can do the same thing for themselves that they do and charge you $80 every 3 months for. I was on a contract and that contract has gone up 30 percent since I started signing with them. The service rep that comes over is very personable. They did what they said they would do but I just think they are overpriced. When I did have a bug problem, part of the contract covered them coming back over to take care of the problem. I will not use them again in the future.

I am quite satisfied with them, they do great work. I have a yearly contract with them.

I have an annual contract with them, which costs me $300. I call a main number and they come out. They do inspection for me. I had some carpentry work done on some window replacements and there was some termite damage. So, I contacted them and they put a barrier around my house. They put in rods around the house, which keeps the termites away. They come out on their own; I don’t have to call them. I will continue to use their services in the future.
