He even stayed several days beyond the projected finish date to make sure we were happy with the results. I will not use any other painter in the future except for Tony, he is a kind, gentle and caring person and a superb craftsman. August-Tony came back and touched up a few door edges and such. Did a great job, wouldn't know the difference. Top of the heap kind of guy and great painter.

Tony did a great job at a reasonable price. He takes care to keep his work area well protected and clean. He's friendly and helpful if you need some things moved. Most importantly he truly cares about doing high quality painting work and pleasing his customers. His professional reputation is very important to him. I would definitely hire him again and will recommend him to others.

Tony provided a competitive bid and did everything that he promised. He pays great attention to detail and takes pride in his work. I would hire him again without reservation.

Tony was super friendly and easy to work with- he really cares about his clients and the work he is hired to complete. His attention to detail and knowledge of different paint products is above average. We are expecting a baby next month and he was sensitive to the fumes and recommended using a baby safe paint product- something we didn't even think about. He kept us informed of his progress throughout the project and made sure that we knew the plan going forward. We would use Tony again and again for all of our painting projects!

The work took six full days. This was longer than he had anticipated, and he had another job scheduled on Monday, so he had to work both weekend days. He is a very hardworking man with a strong desire to do whatever needs to be done to please his customers. His reputation, including his Angie's List reviews, is very important to him, and his well-deserved straight A's on this site are a testament to his exceptional work at very reasonable prices and to his integrity. The rooms/areas he painted look great! My wife and I have already made plans to have Tony do work for us in the future.

Anthony had done a ton of interior work for us at out off cape house. His work impressed us so much that we had him do this work at our cape house. Out house is not far from the water so keeping on top of exterior painting is a constant activity. The picket fence was a big job. It had been installed the summer before and only had primer on it. In the mean time I had planted a wisteria on either side of the arbor. This made it a challenge to paint, getting around the branches. Anthony did a great job and I admire his work every time I open the gate. The fence is at the front of our property to block traffic noise. It's tall and long and the road is busy in the summer. So not only did he do a fantastic job of covering it. The fence installers did a terrible job of the original paint coat so it looked awful. When Anthony was finished the fence was gleaming white. Looks great. The bulkhead took 2 coats of Rustoleum to cover since it was a new color. That came out great. Anthony took care of some rust spots and now it looks brand new.

Anthony came to me as a sub-contractor for Breeze Carpentry and Construction. I knew if Bill Lockney (from Breeze Carpentry) thought Anthony was good, then I would have no problem with using him. Anthony was professional, personable and did an outstanding job. The work is flawless. I have never seen a painter put so much effort into preparing the surface for the paint as Anthony did. I can only say that the time spent on the preparation was well worth it. Anthony also provided the paint for the job. He uses Benjamin Moore products exclusively. Because this was a job sub-contracted by Breeze Carpentry and Construction, I do not know the cost of the painting, but after discussion with Anthony, he gave me a couple of very reasonable quotes for some other small jobs that I have coming up in the near future. Anthony will be my painter of choice from now on. Thanks Anthony!!!

Anthony did a exceptional job! He is very friendly and, easy to work with . He Goes above and, beyond for the customer. The project was involved. It required a great deal of work . I could not be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Anthony . Thank you, for making the apartment look terrific!!!

I have known Anthony since 2004 when we first hired him to remove wallpaper and paint our home in order to sell it. He did a great job and we have used him for many small projects since that time. A year ago, we built a new home and hired Anthony to do the interior painting, including trim and ceilings. He did an amazing job as always. We decided to use a lot of different wall colors-12 total for a 2 bedroom house! All of the corners and edges where the color is different are perfect! In addition to being a wonderful painter who takes pride in his work, he has a lot of integrity and I trust him in my home. When the movers arrived to move in our furniture, they were moving at a snail's pace in order to charge us more for the move. Anthony stopped what he was doing and proceeded to help unload the truck in order to save us some money. We recently had some sheetrock repaired and we needed Anthony to repaint those areas. It is impossible to tell where the sheetrock was repaired because his paint job is so good. I highly recommend Anthony!

We first met Tony when he painted our new half bath (see our previous reviews for Anthony, as well as reviews for Breeze Carpentry-excellent!) He noticed the damaged ceiling while at our house, and at our request provided a detailed estimate to repair the area at a more than fair price. As we were beyond pleased with his work, we immediately scheduled the job. Tony arrived early on the scheduled day 1; his plan was to patch the ceiling, apply tape and mud, and then come back the next day to sand and reapply.-he arrived as scheduled. On day 3, he sanded the area for the second time, primed and painted the entire ceiling. The ceiling looks amazing! There is no evidence there was ever any damage-the entire ceiling is pristine! Tony left the room cleaner than it had been before he started. We were as pleased with his work this time as we were with the first job. We plan on hiring Tony again, as we have many projects on our to-do list!

I've worked with Tony on numerous projects for my multi-family home, both with him directly and in conjuction with Breeze Carpentry. Tony is a great guy who takes pride in his craft. He is meticulous, paying attention to every detail. Not only is his work amazing, he takes great care in prepping the area and is very neat. He is very easy to talk to and highly recommend him.

In keeping with the cottage's vintage vibe, I chose to have bead board and chair rail installed on the bathroom walls rather than tile. In order to accommodate the new shower enclosure, some new walls needed to be installed in an adjacent bedroom. During the bathroom project, I made the decision to have Anthony paint that entire bedroom, not just the new walls, and I was really pleased with the results. A master at his craft, he ensures that surfaces are completely prepared before paint coverage (so important!), and that the paint is applied with the upper most care. Tony's paint work made the new and the old surfaces really "sing". Back in the spring, at the time of this renovation project, Tony was ably assisted by "Beccah". She also worked with great care, and could not have been trained by a more competent and knowledgeable instructor. During the days that painting was in progress, the job site was always left meticulously clean, and in great shape. Tony is a skilled, efficient, and enthusiastic craftsman, as well as being personable and a pleasure to deal with...a winning combination! I highly recommend him to anyone who is hoping to hire a talented professional painter who takes great pride in his work.

Each phase of the project covered a different floor or set of rooms in the house. The finished basement had a texture which we discovered had to be removed. This was not in his estimate but he did the work without extra charge. He knew which rooms would require multiple coats and which didn't resulting in very little left over paint. The kitchen was painted over Thanksgiving while we were away at our home on Cape Cod. It is a very large kitchen with an extensive amount of cutting in and trim. Not only did the kitchen (along with all the other rooms) come out perfect but it turns out that Tony loves animals and was kind enough to take care of Gus our cat while we were away. We were extremely pleased with the work - so much so that we asked him to do work at our Cape Cod houses.Note Tony is old school in every way and does not frequently use the internet so do not expect to find awebsite for his business. Anthony did a great job for us. He works regularly for our Contractor. He made a hideous bedroom beautiful! Repaired walls, sanded, primed and painted all of the walls, ceilings and woodwork. He also painted our new 2nd bath which is picture pefect! Anthony is meticulous with his work. We would recommend him to anyone! We have lots more work to do and will be sure to hire him again! Don't hesitate! Anthony is one of the good guys!

Anthony did a great job & we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He arrived as scheduled-very prompt & punctual. He works quickly, but doesn't rush-he understands that a good paint job requires preparation, and he abides by that. He is very neat & clean-all fixtures were covered, and he left the area cleaner than it was before he got there. As for the painting-I have never seen cleaner, crisper lines and more flawless walls. He truly treats your home as if it were his own. Over the years we have had a number of painting contractors perform work in our home and Anthony is the best. We have already recommended him to others, and are eager to have him back to do more work for us! As for the cost, for this project it was included in the total cost, but he has given us a price for additional work & it is very competitive. A side note-he just happens to be a really nice guy who loves animals-our cats and dog can't wait for him to come back!

My main bathroom was updated in January/February of this year. Also, my halfbath required painting and patchwork as well. Anthony The Painter was the painting subcontractor hired by my contractor. Experienced in his craft, Tony is a conscientous worker and a very meticulous painter. Tony was easy to talk to, and he happily answered any questions that I had regarding the painting of my walls/ceiling. I did not realize how extensive the process could be for properly painting walls until I spoke with Tony. He is a true professional and takes great pride in his craft. He believes in doing the job right the first time. I have received many compliments regarding the awesome paint job that was done in my bathrooms. The finish product definitely speaks for itself and I am very pleased with the outcome. Anthony The Painter did a magnificent job, and I highly recommend him.
