Dave's Furniture Repair

Very well. Dave quickly responded and gave me a quote over the phone based on pictures that I sent him. He came to pick up the table and the tops of the chairs and had the whole job done after a week. The quality of his work was terrific and he reassembled everything after delivering the table and chair tops back to my house. I highly recommend him.

It went great. Dave was very easy to work with and his work was excellent. Both pieces look new and we are very pleased. The job did take a little longer than he originally anticipated but he clearly explained why there would be a delay-- he had to sand more than he thought he would. It was not an issue as he felt that was what needed to be done to do the job the right way, and we agreed. He did the work right at our house which was very convenient for us. We would definitely recommend him and his work!

the repair looks great. If you get on hands and knees and look closely you can see the repair lines but when standing up you would never know. Splits repaired, main support reinforced.

Excellent. Dave was very professional and did an excellent job. He explained to me what happened and what he would be doing. Fixing the frame on the couch turned out to be a bigger job than either one of us expected but Dave made sure it was done correctly. Once completed he talked to me about how to prevent it from happening again. It is nice to find a person takes the time to explain the situation and the care to make sure it is done right. He saved me a lot of money by not having to buy a new couch.

Dave responded to my inquiry right away. When he came to my house to do the repair, he was friendly, professional, and charged me less than the quoted estimate. Other repair services quoted me five times the amount of Dave's quote. I felt that he was so honest and I would highly recommend him.

The chairs are fully functional again. One of the repairs is a bit more noticeable than I had hoped (exposed screw head) but it's not in an area that is looked at often.

After receiving quotes from two people who advertised on a website, one of whom failed to show up and one who's quote was unreasonable, I found Dave. I made an appointment to have him look at the piece. He examined it, explained to me clearly what had to be done and gave me an estimate. I left it, and shortly thereafter Dave called to let me know it was ready for exactly what he estimated. Not only did he do a great job, but he is one of the nicest people with whom I've ever had the pleasure of doing business. He also has a beautiful furniture store which will be my first stop for my future furniture needs.

Dave did an excellent job on this repair -- I almost feel as if the leg on the chair is actually stronger than it was before it broke and the repair is completely hidden and the chair is like new. Dave is extremely personable and professional and he completed the repair in a iittle over an hour after he received the chair. His price was very reasonable and we are extremely happy with the result.

The leather from one arm had ripped at the seam. To save time and money, Dave used tacks rather than sewing it. The hand mechanism to raise the leg cushion was not functioning. One of the bolts had loosened or snapped and was no where to be found. Dave had a bolt in his toolbox that fit and the chair can now be used without lifting by hand.

Did a very good job; went out of his way to do it right; was flexible about doing the work in the house vs. in his shop. He picked up the tables himself. Did all he could do to make the cost reasonable. We found Dave on Angie s List, but, coincidentally, he's part of Donahue's Furniture where we've bought several pieces of furniture over the years.

Repairs not beautiful but chairs function. Good value for the price
