Always an excellent experience. Connor runs the Westwood office and he is great and super nice to work with as are all of their employees. There have been many times that McCracken offered us great advice and steered us away from an expensive repair that we didn't need. They are honest and operate their business with the greatest integrity.

They are very personal, the owner and manger are behind the desk once you walk in. Easy to talk to if you're not happy with the work.

They worked really hard to fix it, I ended up just having to get a new car. They were honest and said they car will never be right it was essentially lemon from the factory. The car was only five years old.

I was going to try this company because my friend gave me a gift card for $20. I noted they had a website and sent an email inquiry about whether they work on BMW, but I never received a response to that email. When I did talk to someone in person (who seemed to be a manager or owner), he told me they did not work on BMW; however, my friend takes his BMW there. Who knows. Anyway, one Saturday morning I was driving my Honda Accord to the airport and a terrible sound started coming from the front wheel. I took the car home, but I called McCracken and the phone just rang off the hook: no answer and no message. Eventually the phone company came in and put a stop to the ringing. It's been so long since that's happened I didn't realize it was still possible! (Who doesn't have an answering machine??) When I eventually got them on the phone and brought the car in, they looked it over and recommended replacement of both front calipers and brake pads for over $800. I thought this was too much money so I paid them for 0.5 hr labor and took the car back. They were perfectly professional about that. I got the work done elsewhere for $500. Others can pay the extra $300 as they like; I think $500 was probably a little high but it's Boston, after all.

It want very well so far. The cost was not unexpected. I was very impressed with how fast the turn around time was-got car back same day. Receptionist-very friendly, professional and also I had a call re: what they did and other recommendations.

I have been using them for thirty years. They are honest and polite. Their prices are excellent and all their work is always fine; I never have to go back because something wasn't done properly.

Car began to make unusual noise under the hood. Air-conditioning stopped working. McCracken diagnosed the problem as a worn out A/C compressor and gave me the price within a few dollars of what it turned out to be. I authorized the work and they did it. This company is very professional, its people attempt to fix minor problems on the spot and for no cost or very little. When major work is done, they use all new parts which does make repairs more expensive than would some parts from a junkyard (my car is not new and when it finally expires, I will take no pride in its A/C being fully up-to-date) but that does not keep me from taking my car there for all repairs and feeling that overall I benefit from it.

I've always found McCracken's resonable and honest.

Our experience with them went very well. They did all the work without doing extra work and did a courtesy check on things like belts and hoses. They were great and I really liked them and will use them again. I live close to them, but I check them on the list. I spent about $547 and for everything that was done, it was reasonable.

They were very proffesional and honest about the problem. They were pleasant to deal with. All they did was check it out and explain to me about having to take out the dashboard to get to the air conditioner.

The were understanding about the problem. They were quick and did not charge me much for the diagnoses. They were also very friendly.

McCracken Automotive will work on all kinds of cars. They are wonderful and do excellent work. I do trust them and I especially think Jim is great. They are honest and very nice to work with. They have very fair prices.

We really like them. My husband and his friend both swear by them. They are honest, trustworthy, and they don't try to sell you something that you don't need. We're very happy with them, overall.
