Bolivar Plumbing & Heating

We moved to Wayland in the middle of May. Our second night in the house we had a leak in a bathroom and called Bolivar. Ron responded quickly and fixed the problem. We have since used them on 3 occasions. One for a new kitchen faucet and toilet and the other two times for emergencies. They were excellent in all cases. Chris and Kyle are fantastic plumbers and go above and beyond. I would highly recommend them. We have found that their rates are pretty much standard for this area. We will call them again.

July 2013: Hot water heater was leaking hot water. Rob Bolivar returned my phone quickly and lead me thru shutting down the heater. The provider arrived, when scheduled the next day, and replaced the heater. Working fine! March 2013: The folks that carry our furnace insurance had previously said (after a visit to our home) that problems with the two heating zones probably would require replacing both zone valves. The provider from Bolivar arrived to check the furnace, two zone valves and two thermostats. The repair man from Bolivar moved one of the wires attached to the zone valve and fixed the problem. It's been working fine since then.

Price included labor and new circuit board.

I asked if they do a free estimate in my area, and the women said that they do but that she'd have to leave a message. She then put me on hold again in order to do so. Wish they never called me back to spend an extra hour that resulted in nothing.

His price extremely less than another quote I had gotten. They did a good job, they showed up on time, and I was happy with the service. I will use them in the future.

After a number of very positive experiences with our favorite plumber (Baker-Elman) we wondered whether we could find a better price and maintain the same quality. We contacted Ron Bolivar who came out for an estimate which was competitive. We decided to go ahead with the work, but unfortunately, it became harder and harder to get in touch with them during the work. The coordination was sub-optimal and frustrating at times. The installers weren't the friendliest guys around but ok, I suppose. Although the install went fine, some of the choices that were made suggested that corners were being cut (not on quality but on project strategy). While I agreed to these choices, I would have preferred to have someone give me great advice with a long-term perspective. So, if you're looking for a good price and willing to tolerate poor communication, I think these guys would be great. But I'm going back to my trusted plumber!

They called to find out if it would be OK if they arrived ahead of schedule. The work was completed quickly, no fuss, no muss, and it works.

Their work looked good, but when I went down to the basement several days later, I found an inch of standing water from a leak in their repair. By this time they had promised me several times an immediate replacement for the bathroom faucet. I called and they promised someone would be there first thing Monday morning to address the leak and get the bathroom faucet back in action. I was promised fans to help dry out the basement. On Monday no one showed. I couldn't reach anyone at their office until after 9. I spoke to the owner, who had no idea I had any problem. He got annoyed because he'd ordered a part for the faucet and it just hadn't come in yet. I pointed out he hadn't told me that, though it was almost a week ago. He did not have the fans which had been promised. I said I was prepared to take the matter to another plumber, give him this review, and pay him nothing. He accepted that solution.

Bolivar Plumbing and Heating had just done an incredible job. I am so impressed with them. They're fantastic. They don't waste time. They're so amazing.

They were very good and very prompt. I have used them before and I plan to use them again.

They're great and responsive. I've used them a couple of times and they did a great job. They're pricing was good and the guys he has working for him are professional and actually give you their feedback and save you money. They're wonderful and they're my plumber.

I called for an appointment. The workman came on time and completed the job.

Excellent work by this Company. The 2 young men that arrived at my Condo, were punctional, polite, & professional. There was a little "Hiccup" on my part - the cold water valve underneath my Kitchen sink would not turn off, & I was told that the main water valve to the Bldg needed to be shut off. I called the property manager right away. Although my property manager requires at least 24hr notice, he made an exception. I told him the Plumber only needs about 1 hr for the water shut- off to the Bldg. They took care of this part of the repair very quickly, replaced with a new valve, & the water was shut off for only 20 min. The entire job despite my "Hiccup" was completed in 1 hr. which was well within the 1-2 hr time frame quoted to me. I was extremely pleased with the service and will highly recommend Bolivar Plumbing & Heating to everyone I know.

They were timely and did an exceptional job. They found a pipe that needed to be replaced and did that for us. They were there the day I called them. We have used them before and they have always been professional and responsive to what I need.

Service people were very professional, personable, neat, and prompt. I would call them again and recommend highly.

The owner himself actually came out which I thought was great. I called them the day of our move and he was able to do the service, he even came out within 30 minutes of my call to disconnect it for me. He was very friendly and I was very happy with the service.

Perfectly and uneventfully; smart guy, good crew, hardworking (lots of work), better-value pricing than all of the other plumbers I consulted (lots!). Was the one who suggested this particular furnace, after we discussed competitors and had already settled on another model. Works like a charm. A couple of followup bug fixes have gone smoothly (turn-on after power loss, e.g.).

Always satisfied. even when something doesn't go exactly right, they will correct it quickly and professionally.

I called on a Thursday morning and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The plumber (sorry but I can't recall his name) arrived 15 minutes early. He was very professional. He did not have the part needed on his van, but returned within half an hour and quickly made the repair. He also repaired a faucet that was dripping. Overall a very good experience. I would use this company again.

Kyle and his helper called prior to arrival at my house. They were very neat and efficient. I absolutely would use there again.

Ron came over initially for an estimate of work. We scheduled the work and Adam came a few weeks later. Although the overall job was a little more expensive than we had originally hoped, they did an excellent job and were worth every penny. I'd definitely use them again.

We were very happy with the work completed. It was easy to contact, fast, friendly, quality work and good job cleaning up the area after. We certainly will call Bolivar Plumbing next time we need a Plumber!

Responded to late night phone call promptly, promised to have service available first thing next morning. Arrived as promised, service completed in about 90 min. including replacement of kitchen sink drain basket which was not part of original call.
