Handyman Fran

Overall it went well. He did an excellent job. It was exactly what we needed. It was little higher in price than I anticipated. He called back to follow up on his work which we appreciated.

Fran never returned our call. We were disappointed as we had read such good things about him.

Excellent job. Very professional, nice man. Booked way out but called when he had a cancellation. Had good advice about the cabinets. Used him twice, would keep using whenever he's available! Reasonable rate. Plus, very sweet with my daughter!

Fran showed up on time and was very conscientious. When he opened the new light fixture, he noticed touch up paint. He called to tell me about the blemish before he installed the light. When jobs are too complicated, he tells me up front and gives me a name of someone he recommends to do the job (replace ceiling medallion on failing ceiling). I've used him a few times. He's very busy and he had to schedule me out a few months. I was not in a hurry, the work was mostly cosmetics for a tenant's apartment.

I was glad to have the information Fran gave me. It would have been good to have it earlier, but I called before a holiday weekend.

Fran was extremely professional and personable. I had a very small job. He told me on the phone that it might take him a week or 2 to come over, which was fine with me. He didn't forget about me and called after a week and came over. He caulked some bad spots on the tub and under the sink. He advised us on how to keep these sections clean of mold and offered to come back for free if we decided to install a shower shield. Overall, a very good experience and I would use him again.

He was very responsive and squeezed me in quickly. He was very personable and appreciated the effort. He cleaned everything up and did a great job. I thought he was reasonably price.

I gave him a list one morning and he was done by 11:00 am. It was no problem. He is polite and professional. He is also competent. He did a good job. I would recommend him to others.

Fran is the best. He came in and reviewed my "list" and identified the items that were most important. He immediately got to work and was very patient whenever my kittens decided to jump in with his tools. He had all the hardware he needed right in his truck. He was honest about certain repairs that were beyond his scope and advised me on the type of professional I needed to call. He also looked at a couple of repairs that will require special parts that he will buy for me before his next visit. Fran is a gem.

Fran was very busy doing the same work for many others - middle of a heat wave. He was able to get to me after about 10 days. It was worth waiting for him, as the reviews in Angie's List had said. Fran was friendly, helpful, professional, and reasonable. He had to carry one quite heavy unit from upstairs to downstairs and move two heavier units out of the garage. He nailed the necessary wooden strips to the windows to install the air conditioners at the correct level and found two knobs in his kit which were missing from one of the units. Altogether a good experience.

Excellent service. He is a very nice person. He gave me a time frame and was able to do it in that time. He cleaned up well after himself when he was done with the work.

Awesome. We were very pleased with the workmanship, as well as his professionalism. He also helped out in a pinch when my husband was ill and on a moments notice. I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend him.

It went very well. He was skilled at his work and entirely independent. It was also a great help to have someone to discuss the problems with who was committed to the enterprise, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Fran is great!; very helpful, courteous, responsible, efficient and a nice guy, too. All the work was done in a timely way, reasonably priced. Fran came over beforehand so I could have everything he needed on hand.

I was completely happy with the work that Fran did. He was very personable, professional and thorough in all aspects. I really had the impression that he was trying to find the best solution to each problem and not just out to make money. As an example, I showed Fran the door handle which kept falling off and the new handle I had bought. In just a few minutes he adjusted the existing handle which now works perfectly, and suggested I return the new handle for a refund. I had called several other handymen from the list; the reason I elected to go with Fran is that he does all of the work himself and is obviously very willing to take care of a lot of small things. To HIM they're small things, but due to physical limitations (and endless procrastination) the list was long and daunting to me. I am immensely thrilled to have found Fran and will likely call on him again soon (the bathroom floor needs repair, I want shelves installed, etc....)

Fran was on time and called ahead from the hardware store to see if I needed any additional materials. He organized the jobs and figured out how to do them efficiently. He had the tools and equipment to carry them out.

He s got a lot of business thanks to Angie s List and he was superb! He is excellent, always on time, and I would recommend him to everyone. The only problem is that it takes him a long time for him to get to his appointments. You just have to call him and get on his schedule, but I d still give him an A for responsiveness though.

We really like this handyman. He can basically do anything. He is reliable and dependable. The only thing I will say about him is he's popular so you may have to book him early. Other than that, I think he's great. He's done a lot of stuff for me and he always does a good job.

One of my windows was stuck. Fran called me and explained to me over the phone how to get it unstuck and then would not accept payment despite my offer.

Fran is terrific to work with - prompt, professional, friendly and does great work. I've already referred him to at a few other people. He called me back the same day I left a message and came over for an estimate within that same week. He gave me a realistic estimate for the projects I proposed - both how long they would take as well as what they would entail to complete. We scheduled a day for about three weeks ahead (Fran books up quickly). He did the two projects above - re-grouting the tub thoroughly and installing new flooring inside a pantry closet. Both jobs were done carefully and beautifully.

Fran was great. He even made a trip to the hardware store to pick up what was needed. He came the next day, even though he was really busy- as one of my alarms was beeping and driving me crazy. I would definitely recommend him
