If you have an emergency he or his son will show up very quickly. Otherwise he can be a little tough to schedule because they are so good. I give them a B on price because I wouldn't say that they are inexpensive, but maybe A would be more fair considering that you don't have to deal with the inevitable leaks and fixes down the road. If you work with other plumbers you will learn to appreciate Greg. He was initially recommended to me by a friend who is an MIT graduate and can do virtually any kind of home repair himself. He said that Greg was "a genius."

Greg is an old school professional. He knows what he's talking about, says what he means and follows through to the end. Best of all, the quality of his work is amazing.

David Walsh was referred to me by a friend. Called him on 5/24/13 and he came on 5/25/13. David is personable, explained my situation, and cleaned up very neatly after he finished the job. Very happy with his service and will use him again should I need to - will refer him to any friends who are looking for a good plumber. Felt his price was very fair. Just called him on the phone re a problem I was having with my dishwasher and he helped me solve it without having to visit. How 'bout that!

I contacted Greg in spring 2010 for an estimate on getting a high efficiency boiler installed in my house. At first, he was great. Showed up on time to take measurements and provided me a reasonable, professional estimate in a reasonable amount of time. Seems very knowledgeable about a moderately complex project. I took out a loan and gave him a check for $5,500 which he was going to hold onto until we worked out what was happening with various incentive/rebate programs from the MA and utility companies. He followed up for about six weeks, after which it seemed like one particular rebate we were waiting on wasn't going to happen, so finally I called him end of July 2010 to ask that he install the system, and we forget about pursuing any new "potential" rebates. At this point I basically never heard from him again except on a couple of occasions when I reached him on his cell phone. He did not RETURN a single phone call or email. When I got him on his cell he just complained about how busy he was, working the weekend, yadda yadda, and that he had not dropped the ball on my project and would get back to me "next week". I asked several times that he put me on the schedule and let me know when he would start the work. I called about once a week, maybe twice a week on one or two occasions. He never called back and the couple of times I reached him never had a date for the install. All this time, I had already been paying for the loan I took out to pay him for the job (June - September) - and he knew this as I brought it up several times. I finally stopped calling and found someone else to do the work who actually seemed interested in my business. Would never work with or recommend this contractor; he completely left me hanging.
