They come in and basically clean the top two floors of my condominium.

We have been pleased with the service. We receive a cleaning every other week. The company calls us the day before to let us know the window of time in which the staff will be coming. The fee is based on the size of the home, and the extent of cleaning desired.

They're very expensive.

The cleaning crew (a man and a woman) arrived on time and brought their own cleaning supplies. The woman spoke Spanish with very limited English, but the man was fluent in English (I speak Spanish pretty well, so it wouldn't have been a problem for me in any case.)

The apartment had already been cleaned very well by the previous tenant, and there wasn't very much for the cleaners to do. They stayed about 90 minutes. Before leaving, they called their office to tell them what they did and how long it took them. The office then told me the price.

I figured the charge would be at least $150 for a one-time clean-up, no matter who did the job. So I was happy with the price. When I inspected the apartment after they left, the only problem I found was a small amount of paint chips on the floor behind a radiator. (The paint had peeled off the adjacent steam heating pipes.)

I used them temporarily and got rid of them actually because I didn?t think they cleaned my house very well. They were in and out in 40 minutes for three floors. I noticed that they had not wiped certain spots. I noticed various stuff left behind even after the vacuuming. I don?t even know if they had mopped the floors. They were nice, responsive and on time, which was great. I thought that I had paid too much money for them to surface clean so quickly. I would not use them in the future.

As we were at the closing and also looking after a 4 month old baby, we didn't keep track of how and what they cleaned. Superficially it was an OK job, although they seemed less than arduous in the effort being put in. It was only when we started to unpack and put things away we noticed that hardly any interior surfaces (insides of cupboards, drawers, etc) had been touched, let alone cleaned. We had asked them to clean the inside of the oven. The first time we tried to use it, tons of white smoke billowed out as it heated up. It looked like they sprayed some cleaner inside but didn't bother to wipe it out. When contacted about this, we were told that items such as cleaning the inside of ovens, cupboards and drawers was an extra service - the exact details of the service we paid for was not made clear to us. We'll never use this company again

It was pretty easy. I called the day before to see if they could get someone in to clean. They had an opening so they set an appointment for the afternoon. The team of two arrived on time and were done it 3 hours. They did a good job. The place was in great shape after they left.

I needed to replace my cleaning service and had read good things about Merry Maids. I called the Waltham office twice. Both times they got right back to me. The office staff is completely professional and set up my cleaning schedule. Best of all, I love the housekeepers they sent me. I am not kidding when I say they are the best I've ever had. Not only that, they are cheery and try their hardest to please(I am a regular customer and not a plant for the company, I assure you!). I have my house on the market and needed the floors to shine before a broker open house. Both the man and woman they sent gave it their all-and it looked so much better. I was so relieved. Also an inspector has come afterwards to check the work of the house cleaners. She runs hers hands over the mouldings to make sure there is no dust. It might be a marketing gimmick-or it might not-but I like it.

Merry Maids did a sup-par job on the cleaning they did on our new home. It was a big job - we had work done to the house and the previous owners had not left it in terrific shape. The cleaning team did not do a thorough and good job. Dust everywhere, kitchen still dirty, windowsills not cleaned as I had requested. Only the bathrooms were done well. When I complained, to their credit, they had another crew come back and do the job again. We were moved in at the time so more to do but they still came back for free. During the second cleaning though, the cleaning team seemed a bit upset at the fact that there was so much house - we have an in-law so six bedrooms, two kitchens, etc. They were complaining and called the home office twice. A representative did come and check the work which I appreciated. I won't use them again as the job still was not terrific but they did rectify the problem in a professional manner.

THEY DO A GOOD JOB GETTING THE DUST AND DIRT UP, BUT TEND TO MISS THE CORNERS. I USE THEM EVERY OTHER WEEK TO CLEAN MY SMALL HOUSE.

WE ARE SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. WE HAVE USED THEM FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS.

VERY GOOD.
