RICK IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CAME IN RIGHT AT THE ESTIMATE. THE MEN HE EMPLOYEES ARE FANTASTIC WORKERS, AND THEIR PAINTING IS METICULOUS. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A MINUTE.

The crew sent by Rick to perform the job did a fantastic job. They respected our home, and kept a clean and organized work area. When we needed them to come back for some minor touch ups, they came at a time that was convenient for us. They completed this job within four days, often working until 10:30 PM to get the work done. I would recommend Orcutt Painting Co. to anyone. I plan on calling them back to do exterior painting in the near future.

Rick and his crew were prompt, professional, thorough and neat The price was reasonable and the work was done well and on schedule. They worked with us on the sequence of rooms to minimize disruption of our lives, and they were careful to leave the house in good shape every evening. A few of our casement windows didn't work quite right after the painting, and Rick arranged for a window technician to come fix them at his expense.

Rick's workers did a great job. They were responsible, friendly, did immaculate prep work, cleaned up after themselves and finished on time. They were flexible and coordinated their schedule with other workers - electricians, floor refinish-er who had to do work at the same time. They also kindly painted several color swatches when we couldn't decide what green to paint the dining room. Our apartment looks beautiful!

Overall experience was great !! Workers assisted in moving some furniture that was a bit difficult for me to have done before their arrival. They were very neat. Everything covered. When completed cleaned up quite well. There was some spatter on the baseboards from wall painting, but the crew cleaned the areas in such a way it has not been that clean in some time. I was impressed.

Rick Orcutt was early for our initial appointment and when he brought his crew out to begin the painting job. Everyone was very polite and professional. I found Rick's estimate for the job reasonable compared to my other quotes. The painters respected my property by using drop clothes and putting plastic over areas (mantle) that were not going to be painted. I was very impressed with the company and will be using them again for more work.

Rick Orcutt was prompt in returning the initial call and arrived on time for the estimate. We met last year to discuss the project. The weather was turning and he was upfront about the prospect of having to wait until this year to do the job. He felt that the temperature and dampness would adversly affect the quality of the job. I suspect that even if I had insisted that the job be done then, he would have refused. The two gentlemen who did the prep and painting were outstanding! They obviously took a great deal of pride in their work. They sanded and prepped every inch of the house with attention to every detail. A house up the street was being painted at the same time. What a difference in work ethic and attention to detail between the two companies! My neighbors had nothing but compliments and occasional amazement at the quality of the job being done. "You really lucked out with that company" was often said. "Not luck", I replied. "I belong to Angie's List!"

They were very professional. Rick Orcutt showed up on time for his estimate and hit it exactly. He went out of his way to help us find low-toxicity paints. When our closing time took longer than expected (resulting in some rescheduling), they were very responsible about doing whatever they could to make it work (even paying his employees overtime in order to meet his deadline). Overall, I wouldn't think twice about using Orcutt Painting. They were excellent!

Overall, a very good experience. Rick returned our phone call right away and proved very reliable about returning phone calls. He promptly came out and gave an estimate and although his was not the lowest we received, we were impressed with his knowledge. He went out of his way to get as much of the job done before our move-in date as possible (as we were expecting a baby and paint fumes were a concern), and even volunteered to coordinate directly with our floor contractor to make sure no time was wasted. We did have some communication issues with his painters, many of whom do not speak English as their first language, and we did have to ask them to repaint a wall and a radiator that were the wrong color. But they made the changes without complaint, and all the painters were courteous and often worked nights and weekends. Rick was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend his team to anyone.

Rick and his crew did a great job, not only in the actual painting of the house, but his PROCESS. He came when he said he would, he called when he said he would, he didn't make us feel rushed when we weren't sure about the color, his crew took great care around the house not to disturb plants, etc. I got 2 other quotes, and Rick's price was very reasonable, and I was able to use the 5% discount coupon in the back of Angie's List Magazine.

Rick and his team are exceptional craftsmen. Included in the price noted, they made extensive repairs to a calcimine ceiling. It is now perfectly smooth. They repaired with plaster a rather large area of a decorative molding that had been damaged by the floor guy. They are meticulous in their preparation process, which is evident in the final results. They are pefectly punctual, and clean up after themselves every evening. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Working with Orcutt painting was a terrific contracting experience. Rick and his associates were prompt, professional, friendly, and precise in their work. It is clear that Rick places customer satisfaction as number 1 on his priority list. Rick held true to his estimate, while being flexible on the project. He was always on time (even a little early sometimes), and finished the job in an appropriate time frame. It was refreshing to work with a contractor whose goal really seems to be to make the customer happy.

The painter arrived on time each day. He was neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. He worked with my schedule, so came back the next week to finish touch ups and paint the ceiling. He did a phenomenal job- the dining room looks amazing. You would never know that parts of the wall had chunks of plaster missing before the paint job. The painter repaired the walls and they look perfect! The quality of the job is outstanding. No drips, splatters, or missed spots. I have recommended this company to two friends already.

Rick Orcutt and his team well deserve the high ranking on Angie's List. We solicited estimates from several painters before selecting Rick. Rick responded promptly and with an estimate much lower than the competing bids. His team was polite and professional and did a terrific job on the project.

Rick worked around our schedule of having our floors refinished and his crew completed the work in the time frame that we wanted. Our house looks wonderful and we owe a good part of that to Orcutt Painting. We asked them to paint the hall and kitchen at the eleventh hour and they were more than happy to accomodate us. We had a hard time choosing a color for our dining room and the crew painted eight samples before we found the color we wanted. While the entire crew that worked on our house was great, we need to single out Reba(sp) for special mention. He did a wonderful job and even showed up early one morning to help put rosin paper on our floors to protect them while they were still drying. It was a pleasure to have Reba in our home and he did the work as if he was working on his own home. We recommend Orcutt Painting with the highest enthusiasm.

Let me start by saying that my husband and I had just bought our first home and were having some sticker shock about how much things were actually costing. We had thought (without doing the research) that we would pay about $3,000 for painting and the quotes we were getting were almost all coming in much higher due to the removal of all the wallpaper. That being said, even paying almost double what we thought we would Orcutt painting was well worth it. Professional, informative, responsive, communicative, and just nice. I would highly recommend Rick and his crew!!

Easily the most professional painter I talked to. Gave me the greatest insight into the work that needed to be performed. Did a very thorough job prepping the walls. Talked me out of repainting my ceilings (I greatly appreciate honest opinions). Crew was on time and very friendly. Work was dead-on accurate. My best contracting experience so far.

Rick came out and looked at the job. The living room ceiling was pretty straight forward-just needed a better paint job than the one I had done. The kitchen was another matter completely. The kitchen contractor butchered the new ceiling and had no plans to fix it. Rick told me what his plan of action would be. He warned me that the ceiling would never be perfect, but he thought that he and his guys could definitely make it look better. They arrived on two consecutive days and completed the jobs. Both ceilings look great, especially the kitchen! You would be hard pressed to find the dips and bumps in the ceiling now, and the large gaps are completely gone. They did a great job. They cleaned up at the end of each day. There was no mess at all. We're planning on having them back to do the dining room next.

This was our second experience with Orcutt Painting. Rick was a pleasure to work with. Always prompt and courteous. Rick provided us with a proposal for only three rooms. We added the others as we went along. His crew, especially Celso(sp) was very, very good and took good care of our project. The flexibility, professionalism, and expert workmanship really are evident in Rick's company. We will, of course, have him back should we have more painting projects. We recommend him highly to all who need a good honest painter that really knows their craft, AND customer service !

We are very satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them. The quality of the painting was excellent. We are very fussy and changed the paint color several times and they were very patient with us. It was a pleasure to work with them. The price was fair. They were very responsive to our needs. They worked over the weekend to get the job done on time.

WE HAD A LOVELY EXPERIENCE WITH ORCUTT PAINTING. RICK ORCUTT WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND GREAT ABOUT FITTING US INTO HIS SCHEDULE RIGHT AWAY, AND DID NOT GET MAD WHEN WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE A FEW DAYS DUE TO OTHER CONTRACTOR DELAYS. HE WAS PLEASANT ON THE PHONE & SYMPATHETIC TO OUR DESIRE TO MOVE IN ASAP, AND SAID HIS GUYS WOULD WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, WHATEVER TO GET IT DONE. RICK HIMSELF DID A VERY THOROUGH INSPECTION OF THE JOB BEFOREHAND, AND MADE SOME GOOD SUGGESTIONS THAT WE HADN'T THOUGHT OF. HIS PAINTERS WERE POLITE, METICULOUS, AND DID A GREAT JOB. WE HAVE A VERY OLD HOUSE AND SOME OF THE WALLS AND CEILINGS WERE IN PRETTY BAD CONDITION, BUT THE PAINTERS MADE THEM SMOOTH AND BEAUTIFUL. WHEN WE POINTED OUT A COUPLE OF MINOR ISSUES, THEY FIXED THEM RIGHT AWAY. RICK ALWAYS CHECKED IN WITH US TO MAKE SURE WE WERE HAPPY. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY HIGHLY. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
