I highly recommend Greg's Painting! Greg was very easy to work with and very professional. He scheduled a day when the weather was cooperative and came just when he said he would. His crew scraped, primed and painted sections of our home and cleaned up perfectly. They even replaced a rotten board beautifully. Greg is very attentive to detail and was here at the beginning and end of the work day. I will definitely hire Greg's Painting again.

We've lived in this house for 30 years, so we've had it painted many times. I've never wanted to re-hire the same painter until now. Greg was very professional and frendly from the original estimate to the final payment. The most impressive thing was how Greg and his team responded to the inevitable surprises found when doing the prep and repair work. They didn't keep trying to raise the price, they constructively looked for ways to fix the problems. I was concerned that the amount of carpentry was too much to expect from a painter. Other painters that bid on the work required bringing in separate carpenters to do the work. Greg was the only painter that felt comfortable doing the carpentry work as well. The work included major repairs on a deck, major repairs to a pergola and major repairs to an interior wall before it could be painted. Greg's team did the carpentry and the painting to my wife's high level of standards. We would look forward to hiring Greg's Painting again.

Excellent attention to detail and high quality painting job. Highly reliable and very professional crew. We interviewed and secured price quotes from several painting companies. Greg's was a few dollars more but in the end a better investment. For example, tops of doorways were painted and molding came out looking like oil paint was applied rather than latex. His team showed up every day on time, demonstrated a great old world work ethic, and always cleaned up after themselves. We were happy enough to hire them now to paint the exterior this summer. We saw their truck in town and took a chance calling Greg who was both prompt and demonstrated his personal commitment to customers from our first meeting

His crew did a super job. Very good attention to detail & did a great job of cleanup after the job. Greg also had a very good price compared to two other bids. I recommend them highly.

Greg's Painting did an excellent job on both the carpentry and painting. They were reasonably priced and did a great job. They came when they said they would and finished the work quickly. Greg is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I had a long list of different carpentry and painting tasks that I needed done. They completed 100% of the items on the list, with no loose ends that they need to come back for. I plan to use them again in the future for carpentry and painting work at my house. I give Greg's Painting my highest recommendation.

Greg checked the weather and figured out which consecutive days this week were sunny (no rain). He called us to schedule the power wash on Sunday, and then his crew came to power wash our deck on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, he showed us the stain samples booklet and the two kinds of stains he normally uses. He even brought a piece of wood similar to our deck to paint on to show us the exact color after painting, which was very helpful. We decided on a color Wednesday morning after seeing the wood sample he painted on the night before. We called him to let him know what color, and his crew came a couple of hours later and finished the work quickly and neatly, before we even got home. After painting the deck, he and his crew cleaned everything around it, and everything looks just as nice as before. Overall, everything was satisfactory- clean, professional, timely, and at a very reasonable price.

Exterior Painting Extremely prompt, response and flexible scheduling to accommodate me. They'll be back again for other parts of the house, but this section was needed asap to coordinate with some other outside work we need to do. I've used Greg's service in the past and will come back to him every time. A pleasure to work with Greg and his team.

iiGreg's crew was prompt,.professional, and on schedule. They took four days with a crew of three to finish the work. Mostly to allow the various coats to dry. They also did some minor patching of the clapboard. The property was clear and clean after the work was done and on each day during the work.

Greg is wonderful to work with and is very responsive and accommodating. He worked with us to get the work completed in the time frames we needed. This was especially important for the powerwashing, which we needed done very quickly. His crew does a wonderful job of painting. They are reasonably priced and do quality work. We had used 2 other painters before finding Greg (based on the recommendation of another friend in Stow) and he was much better and comparably priced.

Greg's painting was great! Showed up right on time-extremely fast, but high quality work. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Greg responded professionally to my request. He and his crew completed the job on time and within budget.

A+ in virtually every respect. Greg provided us with a detailed estimate of the job and kept to it faithfully; he and his crew showed up exactly on schedule; and they did a magnificent job with respect to both wood replacement and painting. Greg himself is knowledgeable and up-to-date when it comes to materials and technique. His crew members are skillful, as well as diligent, trustworthy, pleasant, and respectful of both owners and neighbors. All in all: an excellent experience. Three particulars stand out: 1.)the skill of Greg's carpenter in replacing wood -- a skill not usually encountered among painting operations. 2.)The care that the crew showed with respect to detail -- in this case the particular combination of paint colors that are appropriate to a Cambridge Historical Neighborhood Victorian (down to the level of gutters). 3.)The fact that they arrived at 8:00 every morning and stayed until 6:00 p.m.-- taking almost no breaks and eating lunch on-site so as to get as much work done per day as possible. I was at home writing during this period and as such was able to see first-hand just how good they are. I recommend them very highly.

Greg and his crew did an excellent job. Their painting skills are top rate, as is their prep work (including re-plastering and wood repair). They showed up on time and were consistently responsible, trustworthy, and pleasant to have around the house. The crew has remained the same for the seven years that we have been using them -- which, from our perspective, is reassuring. We will be using them again to paint the outside of our house.

The job went well. They did it when they said they would do it and at the price they said they would do it. They were older and more professional and it wasn't a bunch of young kids. I think they were very professional.

He did a great job and he was very clean and neat. He charged what he estimated and was here working everyday on time. He really goes the extra mile for his customers. I don't remember the price, but it was fair.

This is the only person I would recommend without any reservations after 25 years of dealing with contractors.

Excellent job, flexible with their schedule, punctual every day and on time with their estimated days, clean, neat and friendly to work with. Price was the best out of 5 painters called. The painters took their shoes off at the front door and were great workers. I would definitely use them again.

I have nothing good to say. I regret going with him. He was the lowest price, but only a bit lower than Sam's Painting. He did very little prep despite my frequent requests to remove more of the old paint. The house began peeling all over within a year of the work. His men stole a significant amount of jewelry and tools from us. He was completely unprofessional about the theft. However, he did reimburse us for the items stolen. I would regret using him even if his men had not stolen from us.

Greg was a delight to work with. Always highly professional, he came when promised, gave us good advice, was accommodating, kept us informed of progress as well as delays due to inclement weather, and the price was reasonable. A crew of 3 to 4 people worked on the job, which allowed them to finished it in about a week. They did a fine job.

THERE WERE TWO OTHER PEOPLE ON OUR STREET THAT ALSO HIRED THEM AFTER THEY SAW OUR HOUSE. THEY WORKED HARD. THEY CAME WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING. USUALLY THEY WANT A DOWN PAYMENT, BUT HE SAID THAT ONCE WE WERE SATISFIED WE COULD PAY.

EXCELLENT. GREG WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL, AS WAS HIS CREW. THE WORK WAS FINISHED IN A WEEK (PLUS A FEW RAIN DAYS), AND THE QUALITY SUPERB.
