P & S PEST CONTROL

He came to pesticide for carpenter ants and to examine the place and propose rats control treatment. At the end of the day I didn't need the the rats control and no charge was made. However the problem was that the price I was quoted for the rats control was $150 for the first treatment and $45 for each consecutive visit. The gut that came in said it was $350 for the first treatment and $60 thereafter. This is completely unacceptable and unreliable and it left me really angry for being scammed into it. Again, it was not needed after all, but still unacceptable.

So far they have been very responsive, polite and have listened to and addressed my concerns. The team member who came to my house was very patient and punctual. We have not seen insects in the house since they came. I look forward to working with the P&S team for my needs in the future.

The services provided to us by P & S Pest Control were fine. They were good. I'm supposed to get back in touch with them, which I haven't done. But what they did do is good. They were very prompt. He was a nice man that came out. Everything was fine. It was good.

The gentleman that came was great. He explained everything. Very professional.

I got them for my parent’s house. The man that came was very good. I was very pleased, and I would hire them again if I needed it, but so far, we have not needed it. I was really pleased with the woman that set-up the date because at the time the date that I met, they were supposed to come on a Saturday, but my mom took sick. I had to cancel the appointment like an hour before he was to come. I felt bad about that, but I had to bring my mother to the emergency room, and she was very nice. She said that I do not have to worry about it, that whenever I was ready that I was to call them back, and they would come. I did and they came. I was really pleased with that especially with a coupon. I was not sure how that was going to work because they already paid for it and now I was canceling it. I did not spend more than the $199 coupon. I compared their price to others too, and they were the only ones offering a deal at that time.

Vitaly was great. He came on time and let me explain what I had been seeing for pests. He did an inspection and recommended the annual contract because I had ants and millipedes. He was great at explaining what the chemicals were and even took time to talk to my nervous wife on the phone. We proceeded with the spraying. He even examined a tree I had and gave me advice on a tree that had taken a beaten from carpenter ants. Above all else, Vitaly was a pleasant person, someone you would want in your home and is truly there to put you as a customer first. I would highly recommend P&S!

Company representative was punctual. We first toured exterior/interior for pain points (carpenter ants on exterior), occasional silver fish around exposed plumbing in closets and minor evidence of mice in basement. He explained the nature of the chemicals and treatment strategy and answered all my questions. (We recently relocated from CA and so the5se pests are new to us.) He was also re-assuring that the effects of treatment would be rapid and lasting. (We purchased an annual plan abd return visits are scheduled for Autumn and Spring.) Three weeks in and all is good. Not an ant to be seen!

This company was very professional. The worker was respectful, knowledgeable, and got rid of all the pests. He explained each step of the different processes. They showed up, did their work, and no problems since. We're grateful for their work.

They arrived on time as requested. He explained to me the process of the spraying. The spraying took only minutes inside and outside. While he was spraying inside he said that I needed to wait outside. No issues since the spraying, less ant movement noticed outside.

Very professional treatment. Technician clearly explained the treatment, how it works and how long it would take to show results. He was able to spray an outbuilding for a modest fee of $50. Would use again. Found via angieslist.com which provide a discount of $100, my total for house was $200 with $50 extra for shed. As part of the fee they offer an indoor treatment but since we did not have many ants inside we chose not to have the interior treatment. It is the outdoor treatment that does the bulk of the work...or all of it. The indoor treatment involves leaving the house for 4 hours and taking the pets. They use Termidor SC which is the best for all types of ants. It is mixed with water and then sprayed on outside the house and then dries in a few minutes. You just don't touch it while it is wet. Applied with long pants and respirator and hand sprayer. Treatment took 20 minutes.

I think that he was very professional and very courteous. He seemed very knowledgeable as well. He was on time. He was very open to answering questions. I would use them again.

Great service, from setting up appointment on the phone to the work done. The man who came out to do the treatment was friendly, courteous and professional. He answered any an all questions posed. He inspected for any sign of termites before treating the home perimeter with the spray for carpenter ants. The ants hadn't been a problem inside so it was agreed that we didn't need to spray inside. With the 6 month guarantee, if any ants re-appear then P& S promise to come out again which is great. A week later, there's no sign of the caprenter ants so fingers crossed :) $199 may seem a little steep for just a regular exterior spray but with and gone, some peace of mind and the 6 month guarantee, I'm happy...

We found this service very responsive and responsible. We have a toddler and were concerned about the pesticide they used. They were very patient as they took many questions over a few days as we made our decision to purchase their annual service. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and even secured the house on leaving. We would definitely recommend them!

It didn't. They were scheduled and reconfirmed for a mid day appointment a few days in advance. On the day of the appointment, they never showed. When I called to find out what happened they said they called ahead to "make sure I was home" and when they couldn't reach me they cancelled. I told the rep that was unacceptable and pointed out to her that no condition was set by them to be standing by the phone before the technician was to make the trip. The "President" then called me to ask how my day was going, I asked him to help me salvage the day with my bank by sending the tech right out. He said it would have to wait a week and gave me a lecture about they can't have drivers show up when people are not there, and he has a policy that they will not go unless the customer is there ahead of the appointment. I pointed out to him that the appointment was confirmed with his office and that I had stepped out ahead of the prearranged time slot to run an errand. I also repeated that they had never made that a condition of service. All I got in return was a lot of attitude about that how a business is run. Ironic, since I am a retired business owner. This was to precipitate a major hassle with my bank while I found another source to schedule for the work. Now I will comment on "business". It is obvious to me that they got a better gig and had to redirect the tech. Instead of being forthcoming, they invented a crisis to drop my job. Unfortunately, Angie's List is one of those services some vendors use to get work when bookings are thin, and then ignore AL customers when times get better. Working with a vendor like them reflects poorly on AL.

Very good customer service on the phone. Friendly. Scheduling was easy and prompt. Everyone I spoke with was professional and knowledgeable. The man who came out to do the treatment was friendly and professional. He treated our home with a perimeter spray for carpenter ants and put out bait for mice. Everything was completed quickly and without exposing my two kids to chemicals. It's been about two weeks since the treatment and the ants have vanished from the inside of our home. Like that we can call them for any pest problem for the whole year. We have conservation land behind our house, so keeping wildlife out of and off of our home is a continuing issue. We love nature, but prefer it stays outside!

They worked out just great. The problem is not 100% fixed, but I don't think that's their fault. They were prompt, professional, friendly, accomodating, and had great attitudes.

I used P&S last year. Great service and excellent understanding of the chemicals used. My only only negative comment is the price. The price they charged is for exterior and interior spraying. I only had the exterior sprayed. There should be a separate price for exterior and combo(exterior and interior) spraying. I thought $199 is on the high end for just the exterior.

Excellent. The technician was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They came the next day due to urgency, which we appreciated.

We got the annual plan from them and this is the third time they come to our house to do the spraying and change the mice baits in the basement. The additional service was the in house spraying against ladybugs and silver fish. It was all covered by the annual contract. The guy was very nice as usual and did his job in less than half an hour. They are always punctual and nice. Their service over the phone is also smooth with easy scheduling and rescheduling. Besides, finding dates is also easy.
