Tony was perfect. He ordered a part that was delivered wrong, and he fixed the part and made it work in my TV so I wouldn't have to wait any longer.

Tony was incredible. We called him when our 5 year old Samsung TV stopped working and he came out the same day! (FYI- The other highly rated company we found on here was going to take a week, and charge us just for looking at it!) Based on the information we gave Tony he showed up prepared with the parts and everything, ready to fix the problem. He worked for about an hour repairing the capacitors and making sure everything was working fine before he left. He was punctual, professional and thorough- we would highly recommend!

I messages Tony through this Website on a Friday morning with a description of my problem, and he responded by phone within an hour. He told me thought he knew what the problem likely was and quoted me a price that would make the repair worthwhile (as opposed to purchasing a new TV). We set up an appointment for the next morning (Saturday) around 11. He arrived a few minutes early, opened up the TV, diagnosed the issue, completed the repair (re-soldering loose connections on the circuit board), and helped me rehang the TV. The price was a quoted, and the entire job took approximately 1.5 hrs. Tony was professional, personable, and meticulous. I would certainly hire him again, and will recommend him to friends. When my 3+ year old TV initially started malfunctioning, I assumed I would just need to purchase a new one. I'm pleased that, thanks to Tony, that was not necessary.

The appointment was made for just one or two days after my call. Arrival was scheduled fora range of an hour or two, and occurred in the specified interval. The gentleman spent roughly one hour trouble-shooting the TV. With my help, he removed the back of the TV and re-positioned it. he ran a variety of tests (which, to my surprised, were programmed into the TV). He seemed very deliberate and thorough. Unfortunately his conclusion was that the screen itself is defective, rather than one of the electronic components that generates the image, and the cost of replacing the screen would be as much as the TV was when new! So no further work was authorized. I was amazed that the hour of trouble-shooting (plus travel) cost only $50.

Tony was excellent. Comcast had recommended I call Geek Squad, but I didn't want to get involved with them. Plus I like supporting small business owners. Tony is highly conscientious, very polite and extremely knowledgeable. He fished an HDMI cable through the wall, connected the surround sound, and reprogrammed the remotes so they actually work the way they're supposed to. He also made sure everything was working well before he left. I highly recommend!

Service was arranged for the very next day. The technician was prompt, efficient, and courteous. He set up the system perfectly. The fee was very fair.

Our TV was blinking and Tony replaced one transformer, which seemed to fix the problem. However, a a few hours later, the picture went black. Tony came back and replaced another transformer at no additional cost. Tony was very professional, punctual, honest and very easy to talk to. I would use him again in the future and highly recommend him.

Tony was great! He is extremely professional. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement part, came back a few days later to install the part and performed other software upgrades to the TV as well. The TV works great!

Tony was fantastic. A transformer up the street was hit by lightening and the HDMI board on our Panasonic VT60 was fried. Tony tracked down the part, kept us posted on his progress and then scheduled a repair at night after I got home from work. The first board he received was defective, causing the tv to shut down after 20min. This is where he proved what an honest guy he is. He unplugged/replaced it and stuck around for another half hour only to have it happen again, at which point he took the entire thing apart, apologized profusely for the bum board he'd received, and reordered a new one. He could have easily bailed once the power came on without doing that, but he did right by us. Happy to report our 1yr old tv is now working and we saved around $2,500 vs. a new tv by working with Tony.

I Called Tony, explained the symptoms and he diagnosed the problem over the phone. His estimate was accurate and he repaired the TV at my home a few days later once he had the part (main board) delivered. Tony was very courteous, professional and performed the work as promised.

Dropping it off was a very strange experience. It is very difficult to find and when I did find the correct address I wasn't told it was really a dry cleaning store with a different name. I went into the cleaners to inquire where Tony Max was located and although the place was empty the woman in the store wouldn't answer my questions. She appeared to enjoy my discomfort of not understanding where to leave my TV. She finally decided to point to the floor so I could put my tv down. I believe it took a couple of weeks to hear from Tony. When he called, I was surprised that he was trying to talk me into fixing a TV for a price that exceeded it's value. He then asked me if I would proceed if he took ten dollars off the price. I ended up leaving the tv there so they either disposed of it, or fixed it and someone else is using it. If they had picked up and evaluated my TV I would have been ok with the $40.00 in cash that I left with my TV. Since I dropped it off and only received a call telling me I should fix my TV at a very high price it was disappointing. This was not the experience I expected after reading the other reviews.

Could not have asked for a better job or experience.

On Tony's advice I went out and bought a new TV 3 inches bigger and for less money than what it would have cost to fix the old TV. Thanks to Tony giving the facts made it easy for me to make the right move.

Tony initially tried to replace just the connector to save me money but it was not available from Epson. So, he ended up having to replace the circuit board (approx. $200). He also installed a new OEM lamp (approx. $300). He was always very pleasant to deal with and his labor rate was vary fair. I have been using the projector for weeks now and the picture is absolutely brilliant. I am very pleased with the service.

This is the second time I've used TonyMax and both times it's been great. Last time it was to replace a fan in the TV. Each time he's incredibly prompt, curteous and reasonably priced. I have an 8 year old esoteric Sony TV and Tony keeps it running perfectly!

TV would not turn on. Turned out to be two broken capacitors. Tony replaced those two capacitors and replaced three other similar ones that had not (yet) failed. All were replaced with capacitors rated for a higher voltage. Repairman called in advance when he was heading to my house. This was a lot cheaper than replacing the TV. I definitely will use in the future, if need arises.

It turned out not to be a technically difficult repair, but the important thing is that he was the first repair person who seemed to easily understand my questions, and who left me with way the easiest set of instructions about how to manage my way to complex setup. That was worth gold.

Thursday before the Super Bowl when our nice year and half old flat screen in the living room broke. The battery in our remote died so we went to change the channel on the TV and with a simple push the buttons pushed right into the TV and got stuck. Several were pushed in and I assumed pushed down, so we could control the volume or power off the TV in fear that it wouldn?t turn on. Since the TV wasn?t old and wasn?t totally broken we knew we weren?t going to buy a new one. Unfortunately we were just out of warranty, and needed a repair man that could fix it fast. After a little bit of research on Yelp, Google, and Angie?s List I sent a few emails and got some numbers to call in the morning. I connected with TonyMaxTV first, and since we were more concerned with the timing of this than the price I didn?t really price out too many other options. It was $50 to have Tony come out and diagnose the problem, but that $50 could be put towards repairs if they were necessary, which seemed reasonable to me. Tony came to our apartment on Saturday. We had scheduled for 1pm, but Friday night he called to reschedule for 3pm. This wasn?t a problem at all. He called us 15 minutes prior to his arrival on Saturday and was right on time. He was able to fix the buttons on the TV and tighten a lose HDMI port (the TV would lose the feed on occasion if you walked by it the right way). He was at our place for about 45 minutes. He was quick, efficient, clean and very, very courteous. The total cost for our repairs was $100 (including the initial $50 to come out). I?ve never had a TV repaired before so I can?t really gauge the price, but it seems reasonable to have a $100 fix for nice flat screen TV. Plus he was able to fix it before our Super Bowl party. If we have any problems in the future with Televisions or Electronics in the house we will definitely use him, and highly recommend him to anyone who needs television repair.

Anthony was great. He was extremely polite and clearly knew his trade well. He diagnosed the problem with our TV even before seeing it and was 100% right. He worked efficiently and expertly, charged reasonably, and it was a real pleasure to work with him. I would recommend him to everyone who needs their TV fixed!

When our TV stopped working, we called him based on reviews here and were pleased! He showed up fairly quickly and spent a while repairing our TV (1-2 hours?). When he finished, he told us in detail what was wrong, why it happened, and how he fixed it so that it wouldn't happen again. It turns our our remote caused the problem! Our TV has been working great ever since, and it's been months to show for it. I had no experience with TV repair costs, so though this seemed bit expensive, for the quality of the work and the price of the TV, it was certainly worth it!! He was very polite and professional, and I will certainly contact him again if something else ever happens to our TV.
