Upon first visit, the technician realized he didn't have the part to fix the dryer. He ordered it and was back within a week. The work was done very quickly, and the technician was very courteous. The dryer was back up and running like new

Although the receptionist for Mr. Appliance of Southeast Ma was somewhat curt when I called, "George" the service professional was very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient, He used a tool to quickly unlock the oven door. He explained that due to the age of the appliance, a replacement part was not readily available, but he would notify me if he found one. I cannot use the oven cleaning feature, but can still use all the other features of my oven. The cost was reasonable.

My Kitchen Aid Supra oven door would not unlock. The appliance is old, but a high end stainless steel slide in unit.

First and foremost, I apologize for the late response but I had been out of town for the month of December. I returned this week and while checking my Angie's List site saw our disturbing review. I was aware of the problems we had getting to the bottom of your dryer not heating. After the first thermal cutoff failure, my technician returned and called Samsung tech support. Both of them agreed that we must have received and bad thermal cut off fuse. Tech support also recommended that we change the operating thermostat as well. On the third return call, my technician once again found the thermal cutoff had failed. He checked all connections, relays, element, airflow and power cord. Once again he called tech support and they were also at a loss and told us that we should change that thermal fuse again. Please understand that we are an authorized Samsung servicer and change this exact thermal fuse quite often but have never had one fail 3 times. This is where I am confused. You mentioned to my technician that if this did not fix your dryer, you were going to purchase a new one and at that time we would gladly refund the money you had paid us. That last repair was on 11/18/16 and we never heard from you so we assumed that the third repair was the fix. If the unit failed again, I will absolutely refund your money. My company prides itself on quality service as is evident with the reviews we have received on Angie's List as well as other review sites. We warranty our work for 12 months. We will reach out to you via phone the week of 1/9/17 and if your dryer is still not repaired a refund will be in order. I am very sorry this happened and that it has dragged on this long.

The repair went well! Joe was friendly, professional and punctual! The oven works perfectly and we have a 1 year warranty. We are very pleased.

Our oven stopped working while the broiler and stove top continued to work. We discovered this while trying to bake a chicken one evening. Rather than waste a meal, we decided to bake the chicken in our outdoor grill and it turned out wonderful!! At least we know how to bake a chicken outside! Nevertheless, we wanted a fully working oven. We called Mr. Appliance and got an appointment within a few days. We did need a new oven igniter.

This company was EXCELLENT! We are new to MA, I didn't know who to call so I went to Angie's list. Mr. Appliance had excellent reviews and the woman on the phone was friendly and very professional. She explained upfront the basic charge as well as our options. She then booked us for the next day" The company sent an email with their company info and a picture of the repairman that would be coming to our home. Geoge was terrific! He communicated what was wrong and the cost to repair the machine. The price was reasonable, the part ordered and a few days later (he was there on a Friday, of course) everything was up and running. I highly recommend this company, and George, very highly. The professionalism and the quality of service was outstanding.

The Mr. Appliance tech arrived on time and with a positive, friendly attitude, and seemed very knowledgeable about our 15-year-old Whirlpool dryer. After removing the back of the dryer, he tested several internal components and quickly diagnosed the problem to be electrical. Instead of attempting to sell us parts that our dryer didn’t need to operate property, he suggested that the problem was a faulty electrical outlet. As it turns out, I contacted an electrician and the problem was indeed a faulty electrical outlet for the dryer. I would highly recommend the competent, professional, and honest service offer by Mr. Appliance of Southeast Massachusetts.

Very professional. I used the online scheduling on their website. Someone called me that evening to confirm. The tech called me when he was fifteen minutes away on the day of the appointment. The tech, Scott, was professional, on time and pleasant. Shoe coverings on immediately upon entry. He was able to get the oven to within 50 degrees of the set temp and then discussed the cost of the part needed to fix it vs. the cost of a new oven with me in detail as the oven is about 10 years old. I would use them again.

Justin arrived on time, wore shoe covers, defrosted the drain and guaranteed the work. Very please with the timeliness, professionalism and courtesy. Like most things...if someone is rated well they generally deserve it and this provider did not disappoint. Will use them again in the future.

It went extremely well. He came at the first available time, notified us the day before of his approx. arrival time. He was professional and courteous. He recommended a complete replacement of ice maker because of age of unit (20 years). All went well and his effort has been greatly appreciated.

Contacted me the evening of Memorial day to let me know that they had selected my earliest date suggested in my reply to Mr. Appliance for the service to our washing machine, 5/26. They were here at 3pm to examine the washer and see if it really needed a pump or if it was just blocked. It needed a new pump, so they called in the model number and scheduled with me to come back out the next day to install it. They were very professional, down to putting plastic boot covers on their feet when entering the house. The entire diagnostic / installation of the pump might have been done in one visit if I were as responsive as they were in getting them a model number for the pump before they came on the 26th. Having the one visit also would have avoided some confusion that arose concerning the credit for part of the repair costs through my payment to Angies list.

The communication was fantastic - they called to confirm the appointment and answer any questions I had. I asked for worst case scenario estimate and they gave me a very fair description considering they hadn't seen the problem. Joe came out and removed the bag and told me i'd have to wait to see if the ice maker worked - but if it didn't they'd credit what I paid them that day towards the total cost of the repair if they had to replace it later. (Hey Joe - if you're reading this - it still works!!). Joe also was a great sport in that my Mom was visiting and I asked him to help me play a small, harmless prank on her while he was there and he completely rolled with it. (she's been bugging me to get a new fridge to match the rest of the appliances - I don't want to - so joe went on and on about what a great fridge i had and how I should keep it forever - stupid inside joke but it was funny and he was a great sport about it). Joe was exactly on time and called to say he was on his way which was unexpected and appreciated for a service visit of any kind. The only disconnect was they told me on the phone that if all they had to do was remove the bag it would be the $88 service call fee and the total ended up being i think 116. Still a fair price for the honest, friendly, prompt, service I received and frankly the disconnect could very well have been mine. I can't recommend these guys enough.

I was very happy with the professionalism and responsiveness of this provider. Upon scheduling the appointment, I was offered several earlier time slots because the proprietor knew that I was in a hurry to have the work completed. On the day of service, the technician (Joe) called me in advance to alert me of his arrival time, and spent a few minutes on the phone discussing the issue with the oven to ensure he had the needed replacement parts. Upon arrival at the house, he proceeded to quickly diagnose and repair the oven. He was courteous, careful, cleaned up completely and advised us on strategies for keeping repair costs down on our appliances in the future. I will call this repair service provider again and would recommend them highly to family and friends.

Excellent service call. Justin, the tech, showed up right on time and was friendly. He said the issue could be two things--one $40 part or one $200 part. He said he'd try the $40 part first and hopefully that would fix the issue. If not, he'd have to charge me for the $200 part, but there would be no additional charge for labor, which I thought was perfectly fair. He ordered the part and came back a few days later to install it. Again, he was punctual and pleasant. The cheaper part fixed the issue, so everyone was happy. Additional points of awesomeness: I used a $25 off coupon from Angie's List, but forgot to mentioned it when the work order was first generated. I gave it to him the second time he came out and he applied it, no problem. I noticed that on the receipt, the coupon wasn't categorized as a coupon (my fault, since I hadn't given it to him initially). I emailed Mr Appliance asking for a corrected receipt. Bob emailed me back almost immediately with a freshly generated receipt that reflected the coupon. If you've ever used service providers for stuff like this, you know that communication is usually a very weak point. Not with Mr. Appliance. They are on top of it. To sum up, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs any sort of work done on an appliance. My experience with them surpassed all expectations. Fair price, responsive and prompt service--about all I could ask for.
