A Full Service Auto Repair Facility with Three ASE Master Technicians and also a Registered Massachusetts Emissions Repair Facility, Rental Car and 24 hour Towing. A fully equipped 6 bay shop in Business since 1988
Description of Work: Inspection, synthetic oil change, replace wipers, fix head light. The service was fast, courteous, and they notified of things that will likely need fixing/replacing in the next 6 months, but stated that no additional work was need at present. I appreciate the heads-up and that they did not push for more work. I have a 2013 Honda Accord with 40k miles. Last year they did an excellent of diagnosing and fixing a front-end issue that was plaguing my wife's 1997 Subaru that another garage was unable to resolve (it turned out to be a dangerous wheel bearing seal problem). | |I highly recommend Auto Clinic.

2007 Dodge Ram - Auto Clinic fixed an intermittent headlight issue that two other shops could not. They researched and repaired the issue all in the same day. They closed at 5:00 PM but waited for me until 5:20 so I could pickup my truck. They've also done multiple repairs on my wife's Audi A4. Two thumbs up! =D
Description of Work: Fixed an intermittent issue where my headlights would just turn off while driving.

They do a great job and do not overcharge. They are much more reasonably priced than a dealership. They have a shuttle service and remember their customers.
Description of Work: We use them to service our cars.

My experience at Auto Clinic was excellent. They gave me an estimate for the work I needed for my car and called me to confirm the amount and get my green light to proceed. They were incredibly quick, the car was ready the next morning as promised. The bill came in as quoted with no surprises or "extra" padding. They tested each sensor to ensure they only changed and charged me for those sensors that were bad. Having taken my car to the Nashua Chrysler/Jeep dealership in the past when the check engine light first came on, most likely for the same issue, the dealership did not correct the problem, they did a lot of work, my bill was 3x's as high as Auto Clinic and within a couple of miles of driving away from the dealership, the check engine light returned. I will skip going to the dealership in the future and trust the folks at Auto Clinic for any future repairs and maintenance. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: The O2 sensors in my Jeep had gone bad, thus leading my failing the Massachusetts State Auto Inspection. The check engine light had been on for a while most likely from the sensor failure. My Jeep has multiple sensors and we didn't know if one or all had gone bad.

We started using Auto Clinic two years ago, and we feel blessed that we found these guys. Professional service, quality work, and informed knowledge. We don;t plan on using anyone else in the future and we feel we have found a hidden gem. Much less expensive than our Toyota dealership and yet they do much better work.

I had previously had the car serviced by Auto Clinic looked at by a Dodge/Chrysler dealer. I typically go back to the dealer for service because I believe them to be more knowledgeable about the specific products they sell - leading to a better repair experience. To make it short and sweet - the real problem was a bad alternator and serpentine belt pulley on a 2004 Chrysler Tand C. As best as I can tell, the bad alternator/pulley caused the engine to stumble enough just one time to produce a low oil pressure light and a stored code in the computer. Since the car had the low oil pressure code, the Chrysler service people went after the code - leading them to the oil pump and/or oil pressure sensor. Basically finding nothing wrong, they asked and I agreed to let them replaced the oil pressure sensor, at a relatively steep cost cost of $218!. The sensor was only $28. I must assume that they missed the alternator/belt racket coming from the front of the motor, but the car was not fixed by the dealer. But at that time, I still didn't know what was wrong. So on the way in to work the following day, I stopped at Auto Clinic and let these guys take a look. I did point out the noise to them.. They took the car in without an appointment, and isolated it to a bad pulley and/or a bad alternator. Now this is one of those fancy slip clutch alternators that sometimes appear good, but are not. It was hard to believe that an alternator or pulley could cause the problems I had seen. They verified that the pulley had excessive bearing noise and replaced the pulley (the lowest cost of the two possible repairs). The noise was diminished and I drove away. After driving more, I concluded that there was still too much noise from the engine, and the car continued to stumble on occasion. According to the Auto Clinic diagnosis, it had to be a bad alternator as there was only one item left that could be causing the problem. In the end it turned out that both the pulley and alternator needed replacement, and I replaced the alternator myself to save some money. The people at Auto Clinic are friendly, honest and do good work. They are not necessarily the cheapest, but the cost is fair and I will go back to them before I go back to that Chrysler dealer.
Description of Work: They troubleshot a noise at the front of a Chrysler T&C engine, diagnosed it to a worn out serpentine belt pulley, and replaced the pulley.
