This whole process couldn't have gone any better. From the initial contact with the sales representative, to the coordination of the dates with the team, to the stripping, and all the way through to completion of the work. Everything was explained clearly and every member of the Rhino Shield team did what they said they were going to do. They said they could match any Benjamin Moore color and they did. There were no surprises or hidden costs. They were very efficient - the job was completed in just a few days after they started. It was a very positive experience...oh, and my house looks great! I would highly recommend Rhino Shield without reservation.

Very well. The installers were courteous and on time and the house looks as good as it did close to 9 years ago when it was done. We get lost of compliments and when we are asked when it was done and tell them in 2008, we get looks of disbelief. We are very happy and satisfied.

I contracted with Rhino Shield in January, 2008 to coat my entire home. I was extremely impressed with the painting crew, they worked consistently throughout the day and finished in about one week. In 2015, we like many others had suffered storm damage that affected the exterior of our home. Rhino Shield worked with me and my insurance company, and as soon as the exterior damage was replaced, Rhino Shield was back in a timely fashion to refinish the house. Work was done on time and on budget; workmen were easy to work with and both polite and neat.

So far the product is holding up and I have detected no flaws in quality as of this date. Ask me again next year how it looks and I may me able to raise my quality ranking. The application and work was completed in October of 2016 and I am still waiting to see how it holds up over the winter and spring. @ this point , I am very proud of the way the house looks !

It went exceptionally well. The house looks fantastic. Equally as important, the crew was on time, polite, and professional. They took very good care of our recently planted shrubs and plants which was a big concern for us. They never left a mess, did not get paint in unwanted places such as windows or the patio, and and treated our house like it was theirs. We were exceptionally pleased and impressed. You asked "would I hire them again?" The answer is yes, but the idea is I won't need to use them again. Their product is a ceramic based paint that lasts longer than regular paint. My wife and I plan on selling in 15 years or less and we expect we will never have to paint again. It's been 18 months since the job was done and it still looks good. One thing you'll notice is they take more time to prepare the house. (I uploaded a photo to show the extent of the prep work.) Another thing to be aware of is it costs more than a regular paint job, but I had been painting the back of our house every 4 years, so it works out that in less than 10 years I will have saved money overall, plus heir jobs come with a warranty. We were, and have been, happy with our choice of Rhino Shield. Thank you.

The paint job came out EXCELLENT. It was an end of the season job and I was a bit worried about the crew finishing before the weather got too cold. They are extremely thorough with the prep work. The crew (lead by subcontractor/owner Fabian) did get pulled of the job for many days to another job, which I was not anticipating, but they were able to finish on time. Fabian communicated well throughout the process and he really made sure that things were done well. He met me on the job first thing in the morning many times to update on the progress and make sure we were on the same page with specifics of the job, colors, repairs, etc. Time will tell if the product last as advertised, but it really came out amazing and the experience has been positive. Highly recommend!

The project could not have gone worse. The Rhino Shield team prepped our house in complete disregard of governmental regulations regarding lead paint. Using open sanders, which is illegal on a house of this age, because of probability of lead paint contamination, over a number of days they contaminated both the exterior of our house and the interior with lead paint dust. The team which painted our house was supervised by a Rhino Shield manager who ok'd all processes and equipment. We were able to stop Rhino Shield from continuing to use poor lead paint practice only by calling the police to have them leave our property. As a result of their work our house was needed to be decontaminated by a professional lead abatement company at a cost to us of over $20,000. Rhino Shield has taken no financial responsibility for their actions and threatened to sue us to collect on the full contract (house prep and painting) because we stopped them from continuing to contaminate our house. My best advice to you is stay far away from this company.

Steve was well aware of the previous company that I had used and the disaster they left their customers in. Steve assured me that Rhino Shield of New England was the real deal. Although hesitant about doing this again, I trusted Steve and I also checked out the company?s reputation and reviews. Steve worked with me to find the best way for me to afford this and also gave me peace of mind. After my first meeting with Steve, I felt like I had a new friend, a very kind man. The paint crew that performed the work was excellent and so accommodating to my concerns and trepidation with this process and they did a terrific job in a short amount of time. From initial contact to ultimate completion, our experience with Rhino Shield was first-rate. The conscientious way in which your crew went about its work is noteworthy. They were flexible in accommodating minor changes we asked while working the job and minor cosmetic repairs were made on-the-spot during final inspection. A few weeks later Andrea and Jen from Rhino Shield New England contacted me about arranging a paint team and picking the colors! I knew I wanted a very bright yellow for my little cottage. I chose Benjamin Moore’s “Delightful Yellow” for the main body of the house; “Bahaman Sea Blue” for the doors; “Winterwood” for deck railing, chimney, and foundation; and “Simply White” for the trim. My order was emailed to Jen; she returned my email immediately with, “That is a bright color yellow, are you sure?” I was! I appreciated her taking the time to make sure I was sure about my choice! As soon as all the colors were ordered, the paint team leader, Brett inspected my house for sections in need of wood repair and replacement. The process was painless! The paint crew arrived on a Saturday, and by Tuesday the job was complete! My house looks BEAUTIFUL! People stop by when I am working in the garden to tell me that the house, the color, and the setting make them smile! The Rhino Shield team did an excellent job. They were prompt, neat, hardworking (I’m not sure they stopped to take a break and/or eat lunch), careful, thorough, polite, and a pleasure to work with. I was not the easiest customer to work with, and Rhinoshield worked with me in the ways I needed to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I needed a lot of exterior shingle repair first, and RS connected me with a really great carpenter who did the job right and made my exterior stable before RS came to paint. I live very close to my next door neighbors (typical in Boston) and my neighbors have an incredible garden. I was very concerned about having workers on ladders in my neighbors yard to reach my upper floors, possibly destroying their garden. But RS worked with me to schedule the painting later in the season so we could capitalize on plants starting to die off to prepare for the winter. Couple that with the incredible crew they brought in, and so much caution and care was taken not to trample anything or get paint on anything other than the intended areas, and I was blown away by the service I received. The painters were meticulous. They did a phenomenal job scraping all loose paint and then sanding down to smooth the surface for a perfect paint application. Our house is extremely tall and they had no trouble reaching the very high areas and treating those with as much care as the areas closer to the ground that were easier to access as well as see. Overall the work took about two weeks from start to finish because of the cold (paint won't dry quickly when it is cold) and a few very rainy days that prevented the guys from working- but I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Combine the results with RS's awesome warranty and I couldn't be happier at knowing my house should look this good two decades from now. If you don't want to paint your house every few years (thanks New England weather) and you feel good about committing to a color scheme you can live with for a long time, do not hesitate to contact RhinoShield. They are amazing. No wonder Harvard University and "This Old House" loves this company. I do too, now!

We were recently scheduled [June 2015] for a project at our home and we are extremely pleased with the result. Every bit of the project, from start to finish, went smoothly and we couldn?t be happier with how it turned out. Our home looks brand new! The crew was just wonderful. They worked quickly and efficiently but carefully with a clean, crisp, professional result. We cannot say enough about how very pleased we are with the work that they did and how they did it. Our experience with everyone associated with RhinoShield of New England was excellent. The Company representatives told us what they were going to do. They put in writing what they were going to do. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and then, did it well. Any questions we had were answered quickly and reliably. The project went smoothly and was completed well within the time-frame estimated. Based on our experience so far, we have every reason to believe that this beautiful result will live up to the promise of the product for many years to come.

From sales call through completion, RhinoShield's personnel were exceptionally professional and attentive across the entire job's facets. Inquiries NEVER went more than a few hours without a response, an unheard of level of customer service relative to most general and subcontractors.

Revising my initial review: Rhino Shield's office mgr. called this AM, explaining that the sales rep "had many problems" and had been terminated; thus not responding to my contact attempts. Instead of returning my calls the office mgr. had sent an email; which I found had incorrectly been directed to my spam folder. A new appointment has been made for another rep to come to the house. I will update this when that has occurred.

I was extremely happy with work done. The only problem was, given we had an old house, some of the clapboards had to be replaced. The salesman who was also a VP in company looked over job and said very little needed to be replaced. When the job supervisor viewed the job he added additional areas for replacement. We had our own carpenters do this. After the house was prepped the painter indicated another fairly large area needed new clapboards before he could proceed. Fortunately our carpenter helped us out at the last minute and did this because if we held the job up the painter would need to move onto another job and be was not sure when he would be able to return. Because they do not guarantee work on rotted wood you are stuck! This process added another $7000 to the job which was disturbing since we had asked repeatedly, every step of the way about needed repairs. 2 days after the job was finished I noticed that one of my greenhouse windows had been broken. Despite repeated calls to the painter I never received a call back to repair this. In the end the job does however look good.

Rhino Shield restored the integrity of the clapboard on our 35 year old colonial gambrel home. The clapboard had deteriorated to the point that portions of our home needed to be stained every other year. On two major sides of the house the stain was not adhering. We were advised to replace the clapboard on the entire house with cement board with azek trim. Vinyl siding was not an option. These projects were time consuming and expensive. Rhino Shield was recommended to us by our contractor. After researching Rhino Shield by reading reviews, speaking with previous customers, and viewing actual sites we were ready to discuss our options with a sales person. The sales person was professional and knowledgeable. She went over the process with us in detail. Rhino Shield is a ceramic paint that withstands all weather conditions with a life time warranty. She then thoroughly examined the exterior of our home with us to determine what prep work was needed prior to applying the Rhino Shield. She found very little rotted wood that would need to be replaced. Much different to what we had been told. One of the owners came out and advised us further in exactly what construction work would need to been done prior to the process. The contract was signed and a date set. The team arrived on the exact start date. The stripping and prep work before painting was intense. The team covered everything that was not going to be painted. Clean up after every day was just as meticulous. The team proved to be expert painters as well as skilled carpenters. The finished product was worth the investment. However, after signing the finished contract we decided we wanted to change the trim around our front door. We expressed our concern with the office and within days the crew was sent back out to correct the color change. The experience with the professional team at Rhino Shield was always positive. Their goal was for customer satisfaction. Rhino Shield is the perfect solution for all natural wood homes. We highly recommend the process to all. Our home looks beautiful. We?re sorry we didn?t go Rhino earlier.

The house looks marvelous! (see the photos on my facebook page). They finished last week and returned yesterday morning for some touch-up work. My husband and I did a lot of research prior to contacting Rhinoshield. We were impressed by the presentation and the cost. I thought it was going to be more expensive than it was. Jackson and his crew did wonderful work. His men were very diligent and hard working. They did a great amount of prep work to fix bad boards on the north side of the house and they were meticulous in their clean-up each day. They were also the quietest workers we have ever had here. We are very pleased with the results. We were going to stay with our old color, but the manager Marty made some suggestion based other other homes he had done. So we took a chance and changed the color. It really paid off, because the new color is more bold and helps to highlight the better features of our home. A couple of our neighbors have said it looks like a whole new (better) house. Amazing what color will do. We would definitely recommend Rhinoshield.

Working with Rhino Shield was a good experience. We knew we had areas of wood rot on our home that needed to be addressed prior to the application. When additional problems arose in the middle of the project, Wallace and his crew worked with their carpenter to repair the siding. Everything was finished correctly, not just fast. We are pleased with how our project turned out. The work done and the new color makes it look like a whole new house. Good job.
