Mike's Maintenance

He came on two occasions and both times they we efficient and were sure to clean up behind themselves. I was pleased with the level of interaction and he provided me with suggestions to complete the project. Mike was able to help us finish projects that had started years ago, that I was not going to get to. I appreciate his professionalism and willingness to work within our schedule.

Excellent! I called Mike because my outside storm door had ripped almost completely away from the door jamb, the result of strong winds. The screws were barely hanging on and the door would not open or close properly. He called me back promptly, came out to visit and provided a written estimate. Mike made the repair and reattached the door. It was fixed but still scraped a bit on the sill when opened and closed. He noticed the door was originally mounted a bit crooked and spent a good deal of time re-installing the door. It now opens and closes perfectly, better than it ever did! (originally installed by Lowe's) It is clear he is interested in his work and takes pride in it. He did not have to spend the extra time on this repair but he couldn't leave it the way it was and made the extra effort to make it better. This was a positive experience from start to finish and I would definitely call Mike again for any type of work I need at my house.

Excellent. The place looks brand new. We have not moved in yet, so we gave Mike the key and he worked steadily until it was all done. He texted and phoned us throughout the process and sent pictures to show us the progress. He brought in an electrician and a plasterer and supervised their work. We stopped in every few days and we are thrilled with the results.

Mike was very prompt in responding to our request for an estimate. He was also prompt in the construction process. His crew was efficient and did a great job leaving the work site clean. We are very pleased with the results. We have received numerous compliments from our friends and family.

Mike returned my initial call within a few hours. He came by a few days later to view the project, assessed the job, and agreed to remove the ceiling, enlarge a small closet, and replaster the walls. His estimate was reasonable, given the difficult job of working in a 1700's house with narrow, winding stairs, horsehair plaster, and ancient walls. His crew arrived (on time and when they said they would be here!). Within a week, they had torn out the ceiling, boarded the walls, extended the closet, plastered and prepped for painting. Each man on his team was punctual, thoroughly professional, pleasant to have in the house, knowledgeable about his craft, and not intimidated to work on an old house. After the plaster cured, Mike came back finish the trim and paint. During the renovation, the crew was meticulously careful to cover the floors and spaces they used. They left the room clean each night. even swept the stairs! They were careful to watch the cat so that she did not get out. I cannot recommend Mike too highly. He is a wonderful find. I have already recommended him to a friend. We were so fortunate to have found him. We hope to have him back to do more projects later in the fall.

We truly lucked out by finding Mike ! At a time when everyone had " ice dam damage " he made himself available in a timely manner ! He was prompt, professional ,personable, neat, and knowledgable ! We just knew from the start that Mike is an honest guy that you can trust ! After the original work was completed beyond our satisfaction , we hired Mike to repair our fence . He once again showed his craftsmanship . In my opinion , Mike is an exceptional " Handy Man" plus ! It's hard to find all these qualities in someone that will be working on your home but with Mike you do get it all and for a fair price ! I highly recommend him !

I have hired Mile for 8-10 jobs in the past 3-4 years. Mike is fantastic. Reasonably priced, professional and does a great job. I will use him again. I highly recommend Mike.

A and quot;straight Aand quot; score just doesn't say it well enough. In brief, I was exceedingly pleased with Mike and the excellent work done for me. He was the first to respond to several inquiries I sent out to different companies and he returned my phone call literally within a few hours of my posting my request. I followed up with a phone call and found Mike to be exceedingly polite and knowledgeable. He arrived very punctually at my home for the estimate and I was sufficiently impressed when I received it by email the next day to hire Mike for the job. Because of a significant health issue I am dealing with, my wife and I were pressed for time before my hospitalization and Mike was able to work us into his schedule within just 2 days! He provided a materials list for me and I made the purchase of the supplies for the project and Mike arranged to pick them up. So far everything was going exceedingly well. This trend continued. Mike and his assistant arrived on time on the day promised and immediately began work. Both gentlemen were clean, polite and obviously skilled at performing the task at hand, installing a drop ceiling. I had a medical appointment that day but I felt totally comfortable leaving the gentlemen in my home while I was away. I was very pleased with the progress of the project when I got home. The work continued for most of the day and was beautifully completed in every aspect, including a few creative and quot;adaptationsand quot; that the ceiling required so as not to partially block a window. At the end of the day, there was just 1 small piece that needed work and an additional part and this was completed beautifully early the next morning. I can say in all honesty that this was a totally aggrevation-free event and everything was completed very professionally and most importantly, promptly, including a thorough clean up. Mike's Maintenance is a top notch company and one that I will use again when the occasion arises. Ten gold stars for Mike's Maintenance!!!!

He was really good. The work was excellent.

It was perfect. You’d never know he was here. Everything was all cleaned up, he showed up on time, and he is really very good. I’ve used him a couple of times and I would highly recommend him.
