FRS Roofing + Gutters

FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!

I really like these folks. Nice to see photos of the issues on the roof and appreciated the time took to explain the process. Best of all, when they missed a spot, they came RIGHT back over (after we paid them). This is never the case with prior contracts in my experience. When folks step up, when all is said and done and a simple thing needs to be corrected, I really want to work with them again.

I've worked with Moacir and FRS roofing and gutters twice. In 2019, they did an excellent job installing a completely new roof. I was happy to hire them again in 2021 for a rather complex repointing/masonry job on my garage. Their pricing was fair, and when you factor in their professionalism and courtesy, you're getting a great deal. I recommend them highly.

I canâ t say enough wonderful things about FRSâ s customer service. Due to a family emergency my husband and I had to cancel our roofing job with FRS after putting down a deposit. FRSâ s staff were very kind in canceling our installation and trying to refund part of our deposit based upon the costs they already incurred for our job. They have been prompt, professional, and flexible in all of their communication in these challenging circumstances. I would highly recommend their customer service to anyone.

I had FRS Roofers replace my rubber roof on my main roof and a back porch roof. I also had them realign the back porch roof to sit flush with the rest of the house. They also replace a lot of rotted wood, fascia and replaced the gutters. The team of roofers took three days to replace the roof and I couldn't be happier. They were professional, polite and cleaned up the work spaces and even left them better than they found it. During the three day period I has asked questions regarding the status and the site foreman got back to me right away. Everything was done as expected and I am very happy with my new roofs, I can now proceed to remodel the back porch.

Reading the other reviews I'm a bit horrified and thinking about going up and checking by myself, though the roof is pretty steep so I rather live... but we had overall great experience. Quick appointment, believable explanations and the price seemed to be right (we didn't bring anyone else to quote, so cannot state if for 100%). The roof itself seemed to be reasonable, but then we added the chimney cap and that was quoted at $1500 and then lowered to $1200. Is that the right price - I do not know, but since they were already on the roof I assumed asking them is easier than looking for new contractor. The dumpster was left couple of days over - which made our life a bit difficult since it was taking our drive-way, but it was promptly removed upon request. Honestly - I'm very happy with the job and I think I will call them again if I had another roof. One more thing - read very carefully the financing agreement if you financing. I read it and we decided to opt out of it and just pay by credit card. Pretty scary.

Professional and the representative they sent out was enjoyable to talk to. There were a few minor hiccups with the work, but anything that was missed was rectified with no additional cost (i.e. accidental damage to gutters). If I have any more projects in the future, I will be looking for them again.

Great job, they installed new gutters and down-sprouts and added gutter guards. They arrived on time and worked the whole day and were considerate of my neighbors are we shared the driveway. Excellent customer service and reasonable priced
