I got an Angie's Deal for 16 hours of painting services. (2 painters, one day - you supply the paint & some sundry items like rollers) The tricky thing was guessing how much could be done in that time. The Deal doesn't come with an estimate so you're on your own there. I did a bunch of prep work, which left painting the walls & ceilings. I had another project in the wings in case I had underestimated & they had time left over (which I had not so they finished right under the 8 hours). I was/am happy with the work, and was so glad not to have to do it myself! I probably won't do that Deal (or similar) again because of the uncertainty involved in working by the hour vs. by the project.

The workers did excellent work. We have had so many comments about the incredible workmanship. The workers were kind and dilligent and punctual. We highly reccomend their services.

We were thrilled with the work Fernando and Roberto of MA Painters did. They arrived promptly, reviewed the work and then proceeded to do an excellent job on the painting, especially the concrete porches. They gave a lot of attention to detail and did great work on all the areas. They worked hard and we found the work completed to our complete satisfaction.

I wish I could have the wonderful experience as the other reviewers did. However, my experience with them was odd and unpleasant. For the interior painting project of our house, my husband reached out to them and made an appointment for the estimation. Then I found their deal ($499 for 16 hours) on Angie's list and claimed it. After that, they called my husband and cancelled the appointment because they "have a bad feeling about the project" and asked us to find another company. Without explaining any actual reason, they sound very unprofessional to me. I have to wonder whether the "deal" is real.

We has a very positive experience working with MA Painters & Remodeling. We were looking for a company to paint the exterior of our house, but we also knew that there was considerable carpentry work that needed to be done first on the siding and trim, so we wanted a company that would do both. They came out first to do an estimate of what work would be required, with the understanding that as they started working they may find more areas in need of fixing (which was indeed true). We were very satisfied with the work done, and their crew who came a couple of days after the work was completed to clean up around the house did an awesome job!

The house turned out beautifully. The stain to the body and painting of the trim look clean and polished. What I appreciated most about MA Painters is that they were flexible when we uncovered some rotten wood that needed to be replaced and asked to bump the timeline to get that fixed. They agreed to postpone the work until our carpenter could come out. They were also quick to address any flaws we pointed out. There was always a supervisor on site, and the company owner came out the day the main work was being done to ensure that everything was going smoothly. They were not our lowest quote (though fairly close), but they were certainly the most attentive and thoughtful. Would hire again.

This went extremely well!! I hired them last year for exterior painting. I'll hire this company exclusively from now on. They are fantastic!

They did a great job - I had 2 different bathrooms remodeled - one powder room and one regular bathroom. The team was professional, responsive, cleaned up after themselves and overall did a great job. They were super easy to work with too - a lot of things could be done via text and pictures if they had questions and when I wanted something redone or fixed, they took care of it without any issues. We had a deadline to meet and they were great about making sure that they were done on time. We still have one more bathroom to do and I will definitely be calling them again.

MA painting and remodeling quit my project after demo this last Saturday. Said they underestimated. Estimate was 1480 for labor only (I supplied tile/grout/etc). Wanted an additional 800 to replace wall board. I said no, I’ll replace it myself. Supposed to come back Monday to finish. I got an email instead saying they weren’t coming back. Pictures are what they left me with though I did replace the wall board later that weekend to be ready for Monday and sent a text message saying we were ready. Not professional and disappointing considering they had done good work in the past and talked me into giving the tile estimate while they were here painting. I had planned to do it myself. Looks like I should have stuck to the plan and not wasted my time these last weeks waiting. There were missed appointments because their tiler quit. Plus they did not dispose of the tile as agreed (used my dumpster which was full from flooring project so now I’ll probably have to pay extra weight) and did not bring anything to protect the countertops or hardwood floors from demo. I happened to have a stack of moving blankets thank goodness. Overall I am very disappointed by this experience and feel cheated.

Purchased an Angies list deal 16hrs painting for $499. Karen called within a day to schedule a time. Fernando and his crew (3 total) arrived right on time. Fernando explained what could be done within that time frame and was very clear, 5.20hrs per painter. They were able to paint the walls of 3 average size bedrooms and trim and even painted 2 good sized closets in 2 bedrooms. Very good job, cleaned up nicely.

I am a repeat customer and can’t say enough good things about this company. They show up when they say, do a great job and finish on time and clean up after. Prices are also extremely competitive. This time around they painted baseboards, trim, crown moulding, ceilings and walls in my livingroom, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. Could not be happier. Saved me a ton of time. Oh and they did some plaster repair in my master bath.

The company was excellent- arrived promptly with a large number of men for initial preparation of the areas to make sure that set up was accomplished promptly and safely. Then 2-3 consistent painters came each day to finish the job - timely. This is the third job that the company has done for me. Wide range of things including cabinet refinishing and painting, floor refinishing in kitchen, repair grouting in step in shower, deck repair. They seem to have a large enough company so that have all sorts of specialists in their employ so there isn't necessity to hunt for another company to do part of the work. I didn't check other prices because they have proven so good over the years.

We were very happy to have Marc and his crew work with us on finishing our basement. It came out beautiful, and they were personable, meticulous, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. We appreciate their hard work and patience with us.

The work went great! The guys were very skilled, professional and fast. They completed the hallway areas which required professionals because of the height of the hallways, then helped with an apartment also being painted. They worked the full six hours under the deal and Fernando gave excellent advice and suggestions for ongoing work.

It went well; the cabinets look good.

They did a very good job for the time they spent and fixed a couple of misaligned doors with the extra time they had. With an 8-9:00 am arrival window I was hoping it would be closer to 8 but ended up being 9:00 so that was a little disappointing. They left everything cleaned up and even took off their shoes in the house.

I hired MA painters to do some carpentry work around the house. They were very professional, courteous and responsive.

Installed double therma tru fiberglass front doors. Arrived when they said, had the old doors out quick and went to work on the new doors. Hit a snag when the new doors were slightly wider than the opening, but the knew exactly what to do. Doors and new trim look amazing. I need to paint everything, but will post a picture unpainted for now. The best part is that I purchased the 8 hr special for $299. They sent two guys for 4 hours and they finished everything within the timeframe (we even had a lowes trip in there to get a few extra items). I had quotes to do the install anywhere from $1600-$3000 from other places. So thrilled I found these guys on Angie's list! Will definitely use again!

Very well, very professional and efficient

Fernando was the lead painter on our project and he was excellent. He listened to what we wanted and was very good at managing the project so that he could deliver the quality we expected within the time allotted. This require a lot of moving from room to room between coats and trim touch-ups, but Fernando managed it all very well. Overall we were very please with the quality, and the price.

The price quoted was higher than others, but we felt more confident in their ability (and interest) in doing all the repairs - mostly damage suffered from ice dams and general wear and tear. We did have to wait several weeks for work to commence - it was mid summer when we got the estimate, so understandable at the height of the season. Got a call a couple weeks in advance of probable dates for them to begin. Carpentry work took a day or two, painting another day or two. Clean up was pretty good, they forgot some refuse at the back of the house but came back the next day when we called. We dealt with Marc, he explained our options and went over how they work. Definitely a good experience, would recommend them highly.

MA Painters and remodeling did a very good job overall. Fernando did a great job managing the project onsite. Showed up on time - courteous - explained what the plan was - gave me regular updates during the day to confirm my satisfaction with the work and make suggestions. I will certainly use them again when we are ready to do a couple more rooms. He also pointed out other services MA Painters performs that we may be interested in.
