Experience went very well overall. We had put off these needed jobs because we thought they were too small for someone to fix. Shawn was very pleasant to deal with, got right to the jobs and had everything done in no time. He also does heating which we didn't need at the time. Shawn explained everything to us and if we needed follow-up he would be glad to come out again. We went with Peabody because of all the other great reviews in Angie's list. We would definitely call on him again when the time comes.

Arrived earlier than expected and in less than an hr, my drain was fixed. Very personable and professional and gave suggestions to avoid issue in the future.

I spoke with Mr. Peabody at about 8:30am and he was at my house about 10:30am. The work was done quickly. Mr. Peabody was pleasant and professional. I recommend him highly.

Called this merchant on Thursday night after hours, and spoke to him Friday morning. He offered to come on Monday, but when he heard that was inconvenient, he agreed to come Saturday morning. He arrived promptly. As he worked I told him I had gotten his name from Angie's List. He explained that he had worked for Lassard Home solutions in past, and that when they ceased operations he bought the telephone number and went into business on his own. This might explain the one poor review in July of this year, as he reports he was having trouble with his answering service at that time. Certainly seems that issue is solved now from my experience. Since there are already reviews under this business name, I will place this review there, and I am making this new listing for his current company name: Peabody's Plumbing and Heating. It was terrible trying to get someone to actually call back and set up a time to complete the project. As a matter of fact, no one has ever called and I have called 4 times over the last month... time to move on.

I just met them once and they made sure that they did the whole thing, so I didn't have to go to the other house at all, for anything. They made sure that there was heat, the day they were going to do the heating equipment replacement. They were very clean and efficient. On the whole they did a brilliant job as I didn't have to deal with it at all. My tenant was thrilled. I have used them for three times and have been pleased all 3 times.

Another very satisfactory visit by Lessard Home Solutions. Called them at 8:30am, Ron arrived at 9:30am. Went straight to work, explaining everything as he went, including how the frost-free shutoff valve worked and that the water supply didn't need to be shut off in the basement in winter. Finished by sealing the exit point with silicon.

We were unable to get hot water out of the tub, it was only sort of warm but we could get super hot water out of our sinks so we called and they were GREAT on the phone and gave us a couple of things to try before they came out. The plumber came out but he wasn't the person we had spoken to and had in his notes that we had no hot water working in the shower so when he got warm water he was ready to go. We explained in more detail the situation as he was leaving and he made some recommendations that we could do ourselves after he looked at our boilers.

He helped me out with something that another plumber claimed he would have major problems with. He was very courteous. He even went to the store and got me the part I needed. He made things very simple very quick. He was on time. He was courteous. He did the job and I was very happy.

Very well. I called on 8-28-08 and was told I'd get a call in the morning and they would probably do it that day. Rob called at 8:00am the next day and was at the door 5 minutes later. I didn't ask for a quote as the job was small and I wanted it done. He immediately got to work in a very professional manner and left, job complete, at 9:45am. charging for 2 hours of labor at $95/hour plus parts.

After contacting Melissa, their receptionist, she got someone out to the house immediately. It was checked out and I was called with an estimate. That afternoon it was fixed. An important point for me is I have a tenant renting the house. I used to live there before meeting my husband. Being one house, I don't have someone "managing" the property. Often I've experienced a lot of wasted time dealing with repair people as I don't live there. Seems that's quite an issue for some. Lessard contacted the tenant, called me with the estimate; I gave the okay, and they sent me the bill. Though it was a small job, it was handled quickly and with a minimum of disruption. I would recommend Lessard for any job.
