Description of Work: I called on an urgent basis to have both shower faucet spindles replaced. It had been years since I had replaced the spindles in the Temptrol device and they were frozen in place when I attempted to do it myself. I was concerned the entire shower valve needed replacing. I was told I would be called back. I waited 24 hours and received no call back. I called again and was told they were just the answering service but they would put in an urgent call back. I never received a call back. I found services elsewhere.

Description of Work: Shawn installed our new Stackables Washer/Dryer,extended the gas line, installed new flex water hoses and installed a new aluminum dryer vent. Checked all connections for any gas leak.

Description of Work: Had a issue with washer drain where it goes into main waste line. They problem was quickly diagnosed and the fix was done right away. Peabody Plumbing was prompt and professional. They returned my call in a reasonable time. It was not an emergency but they were able to come on a monday for a call made on friday afternoon. They arrived on the agreed to time. Would use their services again.

Description of Work: They came back again since June. They helped retrieve something that was flushed down the toilet.

Description of Work: Once again, Peabody Plumbing provided outstanding service and disconnecting and then reconnecting my faucets due to a new countertop installation in the kitchen. Being new to the area, I have found this company to be highly reliable,professional and honest.Too me they are a credit to the profession and I would have no hesitancy about recommending them to anyone in the area. Description of Work: I live about one hour away from Chicopee and when I called they told me it was too far for them to come out. Most people have to drive a distance to their jobs every day and I found this to be a big negitive with them. I would never recomend a contractor that griped about driving distance. We live in the country and I have run into this unprofessional attitude before. Many contractors have performed work at my home in the past and never complained about where I live.

Description of Work: Emailed Shawn and he called me the next day, we scheduled an appointment for him to come to my home on 4/18/11 "after 5pm" since he already had an appt at 4:15pm with someone else. I waited and waited, he did not show up that evening. At 7:30pm he phoned and left a message that I should call him to reschedule. I called twice over the next 2 days to attempt to reschedule but he has not called me back.

Description of Work: Excellent! Being new to the area, I felt that Shawn was most informative and trustwothy. His A rating is definitely deserved. I will use Peabody plumbing again. Maryalice.

Description of Work: This company is owned by an individual. Though I would not say that he is unresponsive, he's very hard to actually talk to. My first call, he came out after going back and forth with me for about a week. By that point I had found another plumber who was willing to come out immediately. I let him know this and he still came out and gave a quote. The quote he gave me was a little above what the other contractor gave plus, he would not have been able to come out for another day or two and my situation was one that needed immediate attention. So I went with the other contractor. Now, several weeks later, I had another plumbing issue arise and wanted to attempt to give this contractor my business. I called him several times and left messages with a service. Granted, he did get back to me after my 3rd attempt and speak to me--he never called again to follow up. It's been 5 weeks and I've now given up. I think this guy is very nice once you can get him to respond. He seems to have lots business which is probably a good sign. However, you have to be really persistent if you want to give him your business.
