Under Pressure Power Washing

There were two guy that showed up to perform the work. They were very professional and friendly. After I showed them around they got right to work. The deck is located in a shady spot and had not been pressure washed in at least 5 - 10 years. It was as slippery as an ice skating rink with mold around all the edges. After the pressure washing was completed we could not believe the difference in the way it looked. It looked brand new. The patio also had places on the blue stone that had not be washed in a very long time. The person doing the patio pressure washed the patio and got all the moss out in-between the blue stone. At first we thought we would miss the moss, but when he was done with the pressure washing he came back with blue stone dust. He swept all the dust in-between the blue stone and filled in the entire area. It actually looks better than before. The patio stunning. I was very happy with all they did and the care they took to put back all the furniture and things. After they finished they took me around to all the areas and showed me what they did and made recommendations to have the porch stained so it will last a longer. I asked if they could recommend someone and they provided me with a business card. I will use them again for my next projects.

It went very well. I was thoroughly satisfied.

I called them and was directed to their web site to fill in their estimator tool. They replied with an estimate the following day. I called to make an appt. and got their voice mail. The call was returned quickly, but the person who called could not make the appt. and had me e-mail their office person. They arrived on time with the right equipment and a full understanding of what I wanted (which was good as I was out of town). The work was perfect. I could not find anything that I wanted done differently. The house, foundation and walk look new. The job took only a couple of hours, so the price might be a bit steep. The results were excellent.

Awesome, Effective Service! Under Pressure did an incredibly effective yet gentle washing of the exterior of my home. I had no idea it could be this good! I called because I had extensive algae growing on one side of my house, and I noticed small black flecks of mold appearing almost everywhere else on the house. I tried washing some of it myself to no avail. I tried washing by hand and also borrowing a friend's gas powered pressure washer. I wasn't convinced I could actually clean the siding without stripping off paint with the pressure washer, so I considered re-painting at least one side of the house this year. Before painting, I thought I should do some reading on Angie's list and online in general about pressure washing. I am SO GLAD I DID! My house looks fabulous and I don't think I will need to paint next year either! This is a lot of money saved. I called for a quote and Under Pressure got back to me with a written quote within 24 hours. We scheduled for the following week and I did not need to be home. When he arrived to do the washing, he politely asked my neighbor if he could enter his yard to access my home, and he ALSO washed a small fence between my house and the neighbor's house, free of charge. I earned big points with my neighbor for this, and yet I still did not pay a penny over the quoted price. I plan to schedule a service every 12-18 months to hopefully prolong the life of the paint on my 1800 house! Thanks a million Angie's List for helping me to find Under Pressure!

I called these guys on the basis of other Angie's List reports. They responded by telephone within an hour of receiving my message. The gentleman was extremely professional on the phone. I described what I wanted done. He mentioned a couple of additional options I hadn't considered. He provided a professional written quote by email that evening. I agreed to have the work done and am extremely pleased with the result. All of the areas I requested to have cleaned are now sparkling, despite not have been cleaned in the 4 years we've lived in the home. I don't know how these prices compare to others, but the service is outstanding and I'm willing to pay for that!

We signed up for a Angie's Big Deal power washing offer. The house, new to us, had long been in need of it. It turned out that we were well beyond the company's normal territory, but they nevertheless performed the service and honored the discount. It's not a big house, but there are plenty of tricky places. One is a second-story white railing that spans a large screened porch. There's barely an inch clearing between screen and the inside of the railing. Dirt, mold and mildew had accumulated on it, I was skeptical that it could be cleaned at all, high up and in such precariously tight quarters. When it was done, the railing quite literally gleamed. The young man who did the work was singularly impressive. He was quiet and serious. He worked without a pause. He listened carefully to what we wanted, made a few good suggestions, even counseled us out of one of our own expensive but impractical ideas. After finishing the work agreed on, when he ought to have packed up for the day, he gave us one more recommendation that involved a small cost but a not insignificant amount of extra time for him. We readily agreed. We could hear him as he worked outside. Now he was whistling a happy tune. A day or two later we got a long-distance call from the company owner, interrupting his Florida vacation to check up on the work. It was a great conversation because we had the chance to commend this exceptional worker. He was pleased, he said, to be able to return to his family knowing that all goes smoothly even in his absence. This company doesn't just talk about customer satisfaction. They deliver. A great experience.

If everyone did business as professionally as Mark and his crew there would be no need for Angie's List! My conversations with Mark about the services his company provides were presented simply to explain the services - there was no pressure to select his company. Even more impressive was that if he was in the office after 5 pm he answered the phone and would explain your options until you understood exactly what could and could not be done. When his crew arrived for the gutter cleaning they were very professional and respectful of my property. The provided the estimate for the soft cleaning of the roof on the spot and indicated it would be treated so that there should not be any regrowth for (if I remember correctly 1-2 years). They did such a good job on the roof cleaning that my neighbor came over and asked if they had the time to clean his roof, which they did before leaving my neighborhood. While talking with one of the cleaning personnel I learned that my experience was typical, and that Mark also treats his employees very well and they enjoy working for him. Great Job - will recommend them to all my friends.

I had wanted to have the house power washed to remove some dirt and algae build up. I had already reviewed other reports on Angie's List when Under Pressure offered a Big Deal. I signed up and immediately received a confirmation. I needed to wait to clear up a couple of other chores but when I was ready Under Pressure schedule me very promptly. This is probably the easiest home project I've ever had - I didn't even need to be home and the gardens appear to be untouched. I've spent the last week looking at every nook and cranny and am still thrilled at what a great job they did. It is wonderful to come home to a clean house!

Professional, courteous service, fair price. Only complaint is that the area where the solution was dripping on our back deck got a little bleached, and I don't recall having my expecatations set for that. Otherwise, they did a fine job - our home gleams.

I called and immediately got an appointment that was convenient for me. I did not have to be home at the time. The house looks great--nice and white and it even smelled great on the outside. I would definitely use them again.

Under Pressure men Chad & Tim came and explained what they were going to do, and what was covered by the Angie's list "Big Deal". Considering that I have a big house, I felt the "Big Deal" was quite a bargain. They worked for a couple of hours-plus on the outside of the house and the shutters; also they flushed the downspouts & gutters which were clogged; they also took off some moss on the roof and some mildew on the exterior of the house. What a difference it made. Our 16-year old house looks like new!

The workers did an excellent job. i was totally pleased with the work. The house looked great. A neighbor dropped by later in the day and his comment was, "Your house looks nice, really nice." I especially appreciated that they cleaned the deck well without harming the wood. They worked in a professional manner and were pleasant to talk to and deal with. The price was good.

I purchased the Big Deal on Angie's List. I had contacted Mark before purchasing the Big Deal to ask about the additional charge for the gutter cleaning and he explained the pricing. After I purchased the Big Deal, he contacted me within days to let me know they were going to be in my area on a particular day. We did not set a scheduled time as someone was going to be home all day. They came and gave a price for the gutter cleaning which I had them do. The house and gutters look great. They also gave suggestions for the front and back of the house to keep the mold from returning. I have already recommended them to friends and family and would absolutely use them again!

They did an excellent job with the siding. I never saw the workers since they came out when my wife and I were out at work. We noticed a marked difference in the condition of the siding that they had done. They did an excellent job appearance-wise. I would recommend them to others. I had sent them a separate request since I knew that the deal's offer was only for the siding and I had asked them for a quote to power wash the deck, but we never got a response from them for the quote. I never followed up with them.

I got the big deal from them for pressure washing. Overall it went very good. They did a good job. They were nice. They pointed out some stuff that needed to be done. They advised me about what the carpenter should do. They weren’t trying to get my money but they were just helpful. They were pretty informative and knowledgeable. They were really good. Overall it was excellent. I’m really glad I got them. I would use their services again in the future.

Mark Mercer from UnderPressure responded to my email the same day, provided a quote a day or two later and sent a crew to perform the job within a week. A two-man team arrived at my house to power wash my multi-level mahogany deck with wood seating and shade cover. These guys don't cut corners. They carried out the multi-step process as promised and spent more than two hours at my house before moving immediately to a relative's house in a nearby town which was also part of the job. They powerwashed a 100% moss covered patio to a pristine new condition, carried the sludge to approved areas, washed the small deck and they washed the entire house house exterior until spotless. They spent nearly four hours at the second location and we could not be happier. We had tried to clean the patio ourselves years ago and gave up, not having the right equipment. They cleaned up all dirt and debris and surprised me with their thoroughness, politeness and proficiency. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to others.

Under Pressure is a fine job but there was no communication there. When I originally called we traded messages. He set a time to come and said he would call and give me the price before he came to do the work. I never heard from him and thought maybe he was not coming. After he was here he advised me that he could power wash my brick walkway and put sand in between the brick to prevent shifting. He quoted me $200 for that service but was unsure of the price of the sand. He said he would find out and get back to me. He said he could complete it within 2 weeks once he knew the price of the sand and he never got back to me about that again. He told me he would need to go from the top down with vinyl siding and I don't think he did it that way. The end result was that the house looked clean when he was done. His price was competitive. I looked at Angie's List and went with him because he had an A and a discount.

Got this service just because I thought it came under 'deal' and tried it eventhough it is not really necessary. Learned that the so called 'deal' is not really a deal. Appear like neither the service vendor nor the customer is happy. Angies list. are you listening?

Mark's original quote was $425 but when I told him I had found him through Angie's List, he said he had a coupon offer currently on the List so he did the job for $300. Dealing with Mark was easy except for the fact that the crew was a couple of hours late. I called Mark when they were one hour late and he called the crew, then called me back to say they had gotten stuck in traffic going to the previous job, and then the house turned out to be much dirtier than they expected. Their coming later was not a problem since I didn't need to be home for them to do the work.

We did this as a special thru AL. It was perfect timing as we wanted it done before end of May and the house was looking pretty disgusting. I'm sure he received an overwhelming response to this deal, but once we made contact he was very responsive with email (which is always my preference). I will definitely use Mark again. You will not be disappointed.

From the start to finish, Under Pressure Powerwashing is the BEST! Mark Mercer the owner of the company is the best I have seen in years. Responds quickly via phone and/or e-mail. He warned me about the artillery fungus and they did their best to remove what they could. I got quite an education about the artillery fungus from Mark's crew. Yes, this type of fungus comes from cheap, cheap mulch. When the job was completed, we walked around my condo and inspected everything and my questions were answered. I was soooo happy. My house SPARKLES. Finally, I am so proud of myself for hiring Under Pressure Powerwashing. I signed up for Angie's Big Deal and this is a Big Deal. The price was digestible. Under Pressure Powerwashing is a company that really cares about you and your home. May they stay in business forever. Thank you to Mark and his crew. Mark hires good people. They did not hurry up. They did the job right. Perfection. If I could give them an "A++" I would.

They did an excellent job. Powered off the moss and fungus. And, the outside steps.

Had them come to power wash the entie house. They called promptly to schedule work and showed up on time. I wasn't home when they arrived, but they called from the site and answered all my questions. I came home to find the quality of work excellent and the only sign that they had been there, was a house much cleaner than it was before they arrrived.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal offer, and it came at just the right time for us. Our house is a tan color, and looked downright dingy because of the mold/mildew, especially on the north and east sides (least amount of sun). Under Pressure set up the appointment immediately upon it clearing Angie's List's payment process. Although they were somewhat late in arriving that morning, because of unusual traffic problems, they called to say they'd be late, which is always appreciated. Upon arriving, they assessed the job, explained what they would do, and proceeded to do it. Mark and his associate were friendly and informative throughout. They didn't rush the job (which some companies might do if they were running behind schedule), went the extra distance, and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. The house looks like it did after it was painted, and it means we can put off repainting it for at least another year. Between Angie's List offering this as a Big Deal and Under Pressure doing a superb job, this has been an outstanding experience for us. We'll recommend Angie's List and Under Pressure to anyone.
