Under Pressure Power Washing

I contacted this company asking for a quote, with the coupon in the Angie's List magazine, for 2 homes on the same street. They e-mailed a quote which I forwarded on to the other home owner. That owner decided to wait until having some trees trimmed in the fall to have her home washed. I contacted the company relaying the message but letting them know I, indeed, still wanted my home washed and asked for the single home quote. They did not respond. What does that leave the consumer feeling? It tells me the single consumer was not important enough, not a big enough money maker for their company and therefore they never got back to me with a quote. Oh, about a month or so later I received an e-mail asking for a review of their service. I think their records are a bit out of sort. I let them know they never got back to me and therefore I had no review for them. Still, they did not respond. To me, if a company has such obviously lacking customer service, I lose interest and I passed the info along to my neighbor. Incidentally, she hired another company for her pressure washing.

They were not only on time, but showed up a half hour earlier than estimated. They originally quoted a different price based on the area of the home estimated on a real estate web site, which was inaccurate. The site only showed square footage for one apartment. So, to be fair, they gave me a discount on the actual cost of the job which, I thought, was very reasonable, considering the fact that I verified that the error was indeed not their fault. I also took into consideration the company's reputation listed on this site. They did a very thorough job and were very accommodating when I had a concern that the attic windows could not be shut tight due to age and condition. They just carefully power washed around them! This house is situated along a very busy state highway and years of exposure to exhaust fumes and soot had taken their toll, so I was really surprised with the results! They exceeded my expectations and the entire job took them approximately two and a half hours to complete. Yes, I would definitely hire them again without hesitation. Very courteous and professional!

Communication between office and crew was less than ideal. Original date for work was set and scheduled for 9:30 am. Crew was not there by 10:30. I called the office and was told they were running a few hours late and would be here by 1:00. By 1:30, no crew and I had to cancel due to a pool party that afternoon. Crew showed up two weeks later, but the office did not inform me and I had no idea they were coming. Worked out okay as even though I had to be out for the day, the crew could work on their own. Came home late afternoon and everything was cleaned perfectly.

We were delighted with the results, the level of professionalism, the explanation of the service provided and recommendations on how to mitigate future roof problems. The two service men were courteous, articulate and efficient. They were careful not to damage our landscaping and even cleaned areas not included in the original description of services. They turned a roof that was an eyesore into what looks like a new roof. Very pleased.

I can't overstate how happy I am with the results. The siding on the north side of my house had a lot of mildew which came off easy, as expected. I didn't think they'd be able to clean the stains on my roof, which I thought were permanent and caused by bad roof shingles. But the guys from Under Pressure recognized it was not faulty shingles right away and assured me they could clean it all off, and they did. Looks like new again. And they did a great job cleaning my mahogany deck, not to mention the patio around it, as well as the masonry at the front entrance. They showed up a little later than expected, but it didn't matter since I didn't need to be there when they arrived anyway. They were done in just a few hours with their first visit. They had to come back to treat my roof to prevent recurrence of the staining, and they came and went on that second visit just as scheduled. All in all I am extremely pleased with the whole service.

Under Pressure Power Washing was very prompt in all communications. I used email primarily, but also talked with the office over the phone. I requested a quote and received one within a few days via email. I was a little concerned over the quote and how it was given since no one came to my property to look at the areas I wanted power washed. I sent some questions back about the quote and some of the details of the service. The quote for the house exterior had the proper square footage noted on the quote, but the other areas did not mention square footage. They responded to my email questions and said my pool deck was about 500 sq feet more than quoted, but stuck with the quoted price anyhow. I had a concern about the amount of water they would use (since I have a well). They bring water to the site, but due to the size of the job at my home, said they would also need to use my water. They did have an issue with the water pressure and my well not being able to keep up with the demand. The crew doing the work was extremely apologetic and said that they wouldn't be able to complete the job the same day (I live about 30 miles from their company site). They said they would have to re-book and come back another day to complete the job. The re-booking was scheduled 2 weeks later, which I thought was a little long, but given it was not anticipated, I decided was okay. They also did not charge any extra for having to come back with another truck of water, which I appreciated. The 2 different crews that were here on each day were very professional, courteous and took me around the property to show me the results and ensure I had no issues with the job done. The work done was fantastic, including power washing my diving board and hot tub. Overall a very positive experience and I would recommend and use them again.

I can't give UP enough accolades! Mark & Jordan arrived promptly on time & warmly introduce themselves. Mark & Jordan were wonderful in explaining what they would be doing & how they would approach the job. There was moss growing on my roof (north side), and they patiently explained how they would treat it & what to expect over the next few weeks. ... Then, they explained about powerwashing my vinyl siding. The back of the house had a lot of mildew growing on it and the composite stairs. The front of the house had a lot dirt/grime from living on a main street with a lot of traffic. Mark & Jordan went to work and made magic! I couldn't believe the difference when Mark & Jordan were finished ...my house looked fabulous ~ like new. I have to say Mark gave me advice regarding maintenance, no hard sell or pressure to do anything beyond what I needed now or in the future. What a great guy ~ personable, knowledgeable, professional ... you truly get more than what you paid for. I highly recommend UP Under Pressure Power Washing, INC. They arrived on time and explained the process and discuss with me what I needed done to my roof. The roof was gently washed to remove black streaks and moss. A treatment to kill any remaining moss was also applied. My white gutters were all streaked with dirt and they were able to clean the outside as well as flush the inside. Afterward, any refuse from the roof that fell to the ground was cleaned up and my siding rinsed down. They left everything clean and neat, plus explained what condition the roof was in. Will definitely be using to keep the gutters and roof clean in the future.

It was a job well done. Polite and thorough employees on the job site. This was my second time using Under Pressure.

The first day they showed up and sprayed the roof to kill everything. Well, most of the roof. They missed a few spots along the back edge; nothing serious. A week later they showed up and power-washed (under low power, I was told) to clean the dead moss off. I had my doubts, but I came home and it looked like I got a new roof. True, there are a few spots of moss on the back edge, those that were missed, but that is minor. I can now put on some zinc to keep the roof clean.

Tried to schedule a power-wash exterior cleaning. After I started the conversation by saying I wanted my house cleaned within a week, the person took all of my information, went through a standard sales pitch, description and then after wasting a good five to ten minutes of my time informed me that the first available appointment was two weeks out. When I reemphasized that I wanted a cleaning this week, she proceeded to argue with me, contradict me, tell me that they I was the only person they have ever had scheduling issues with, despite the obvious several reviews on Angie's list which bring up precisely the same issue. I pointed these reviews out to her, in which the owner Mark, responded, and she still pretended to know nothing about them. Generally beligerent and unhelpful, I would never do business with this company and recommend you avoid these high-handed vendors who think that you must bend your life around their whims.

Everything went very well. They had to cancel the first appointment to treat the roof because it was was too windy out, but they rescheduled it quickly. The mold died after it was treated and a few weeks later they came back to wash the roof. They did a great job and my roof looks brand new.

This company is very responsive, and provides an emailed estimate based on viewing your house over Google Earth. They do a great job cleaning up everything. I couldn't be happier.

Very pleased with the prompt response. Was able to get an estimate and have the service performed within one week. They even left a note afterwards with comments regarding particular areas of the house where they noticed that some of our laminate siding was chipped, a drain at the bottom of the bulkhead stairs wasn't draining properly and that some of our window casings were peeling and/or needed to be replaced. Impressed with the level of detail they put into the job and the house looks great! We had a large amount of moss/mildew on certain parts of the house because of the orientation and it looks like new now!

My experience went very smoothly, although initially it was somewhat difficult to get a timely response from the office trying to set the whole thing up. Telephone tag. however, once we began communicating by e- mail, it went very smoothly. the appointment was set up timely. the technicians , Ronnie and Brian, were super, very professional, courteous, and did an excellent job. My house, deck, shed, and cement basement and walls on the side of my driveway were spotless. They were unobtrusive and I am very, very, satisfied. I would recommend communicating by e- mail to set up the appointment.

This was a couple of years ago, so my memory is a little foggy. I am pretty sure I took advantage of a deal that Angies List was having for this service. Funds were very short and all I could spend was the total for the deal and not a penny more. I had specific areas in mind I wanted cleaned and they were wonderful about doing just what I requested and where I wanted it done.

We are very happy with the service from Under Pressure. They were very easy to speak with, organized in setting up our appointment and punctual the day of the cleaning. We have the original siding from about 1950 on our house so it doesn't look perfect but it looks much much better thanks to under pressure. I would definitely recommend their services.
