Edson provided a prompt and fair estimate for the work. He was able to schedule his crew to work quickly and conveniently. His crew did very good work -- the quality of the wall repair and painting was very good. They protected all my floors and belongings and worked carefully and efficiently. His crews were courteous and always communicated status -- they were prompt and reliable. At the end of the job I asked them to add one more room and it was no problem. I highly ESP painting and I plan on bringing them back to finish the last two rooms in my house!

We had a great experience with ESP. Edson was courteous, punctual and professional when he first came for the estimate. He explained how the work would be done and what he needed from us before he could start (colors and paint information, etc ). The work was performed in the time he estimated, which what 3 days. Edson and his workers accommodated our schedule to work on the days when the kids would not be in the home. They cleaned up very well every night. We were very happy with the experience and would contact them again when the time comes to do more painting.

Among the painters we contacted for an estimate, Edson was by far the most responsive and professional. He showed up for an estimate the day after we contacted him, and wore small booties in our home with every visit. He really seemed to have a passion for his work, insisting that he wanted to make our shelves the highlight of the room -- and it was this enthusiasm, along with his professionalism and competitive prices that made us go with him in the end for our project. The day after we agreed on a contract, Edson began work, and his painters were always on time, always got the projected day's work done on target, and even once the project was done and we had noticed a couple small areas we wanted tidied up with a brush, they were gracious and happy to fix the small glitches. In the end, we feel like we have a flawless project, received great service, and weren't overcharged.

I emailed the company and got a call back the very next morning. I anticipated having to take two days off of work (one to meet them for the estimate, one for the work) but Edson was super flexible. He met me that night at 7pm for the estimate. We went through the room and he mentioned they'd be happy to plaster any holes (from nails) and around the base-boards so there wouldn't be space between the board and wall. We agreed on Friday of that week for the work. Before then he sent me a Word doc detailing all the work to be done... the plastering, sanding pre-paint, that there would be two coats for each color, that furniture would be protected and pricing. Because one of my colors was a red he thought that might take an extra coat -- the same warning all my friends had made about picking a red. Edson covered that as well, saying they could do that if I liked and what the additional cost would be. I ended up needing it and I forget the exact cost. But it's included in the final $420. On Friday Edson and one of his painters arrived right on time. He introduced me to the guy that would do the work, explained the job to him in detail and he got started. A few hours later my room no longer echoed the 1980's. It looked fantastic! Edson came back for a final walk-through and we were set. I've worked with a number of contractors through the years and this is the first time I've felt one actually cared more about the results and customer satisfaction than just getting the check. My wife and I just bought our first home. We wanted the kitchen, the master bedroom, a hallway and a theatre room painted. We called and left a message. They called back I believe the next day and we set up an appointment for him to come out and see the rooms and what we wanted done. He arrived and took a look at all the things we wanted painting. I asked him lots of questions and he gave helpful answers. They started painting on a Monday and finished on Thursday. They would have finished Wednesday but we had a huge snowstorm that day. All the rooms look absolutely great. I had the theatre room ceilings painted black and the walls a dark dark red. They required a few coats to get dark enough. But all the rooms look top notch. He came out for a final walkthrough with me to make sure everything was all set. Really great company and people, I would certainly use them again in the future.

Edson the owner came out to make sure everything was going correctly. Everything was amazingly satisfactory. He came out one more time when they were done and did a walk through to address any needs that weren't being met with the painting that we had done. His professionalism was amazing and his response time was spectacular. Their professionalism didn't compare to anyone else's. Their prices were right there with everyone else's.

Crews arrived as planned, completed preparation of work areas did the job unsupervised since it was not really possible to live in the house while the work was done. The job was completed in a timely fashion. Some materials left in garage for a day or two. Payment was not hurried at all.

ESP did an extraordinary job. I would not hesitate to call again. Edson came to the house and did a thorough and careful review, then responded within a week with a bid that was far less than other bids. He is a delightful person to talk to and a straight shooter. No BS. Since ESP had excellent Angie's List ratings, I was confident that the work would be high quality. Our house is old (1890) with horse-hair plaster walls. The ESP crew did an excellent job of smoothing over pockmarks and gouges. They even fixed two large unsightly bulges in the plaster due to settling of the building decades ago. Their work on the ceilings was exceptional. The ceilings were cracked and peeling, and now look like new. Midway through the job, we were so happy with the work that we asked them to do an additional rooms and several more ceilings. ESP accommodated this request with no problem and adjusted the price right in line with the previous bid. The crew was very courteous, cleaning up every day and respectful of our need (with small kids) to get in and out of the house each day at a particular time. They were a pleasure to work with and we felt totally comfortable having them in our house for four weeks! In sum, the work was outstanding and worth every penny. Great work, great value, good people.

Terrific job. Very clean. He sanded and repaired cracks in our old horsehair ceiling before doing a perfect paint job.

Very timely and professional. They pruchased materials and found stones to match other parts of house. They also stored away materials every day and completed job on timely basis.

Edson promptly returned our call and quickly gave us an estimate. We were happy with the price and proceeded. We had a tight timeframe, so Edson's crew worked both Saturday and Sunday to get the job done on time. The first day they were running late, but Edson called to let me know, which I really appreciated. In the bathroom, the painters went above and beyond, fixing problem spots that that weren't in the contract for no extra charge. In both rooms, the quality of the paint job was very good.

He was quick to respond to my email requesting an estimate, on time for our meeting, and extremely professional. He listened to what we needed, which was a little complicated, and gave us an estimate quickly that took into account all of our needs. When I needed clarification he got back to me quickly, and followed up after the estimate. His price was the lowest of all of our estimates, and we were planning to use him but then decided to replace the wood with aluminum and used a friend who does this work. I would absolutely use him again if we need painting done.

When it was time to have our house painted I knew there were other maintenance problems that required attention. None were structural issues but they would need consideration before starting a paint job; I just didn?t have the time to schedule and manage a bunch of contractors. I was concerned about a corner of the garage?s molding that was rotting, the chimney - which is painted - needed a new coat of stucco and a section of a pathway, which leaked, prevented paint from adhering to a wall properly. The logistics of fixing all these ?little? problems was going to be very time consuming for me. I put out a number of bids on the job and most of the responses were incomplete and disappointing; they either included the names of other companies that I would have to contract or they completely ignored our maintenance issues - they were going to literally paint over the house?s problems. ESP Painting had the winning bid because Edson, the owner, gave me his word that he would take care of any issue that kept him from properly painting the house for a reasonable price. His written bid itemized every element that that he anticipated and his price was in the middle of the bids. The job was beautifully done. He used high quality paint, his crew showed up early every day, and his subcontractors were managed professionally. Other maintenance issues arose during the job and he did them seamlessly and cost effectively. Not once did I ever feel price gouged! I like Edson?s style? he bids on a job realistically and when unforeseen problems arise he takes care of them without horse trading. Great quality delivered without any muss or fuss. Thanks Edson.

Edson provided timely estimates, advice on types of paints/finishes for the house, plus supervised replacement of rotten side boards and molding. His team was professional and courteous. They always cleaned yard before leaving in evenings and consulted me if any questions arose during assignments.

They did an excellent job. From the beginning they were the most reasonable price-wise and the most responsive. They were always punctual and got the job done in the estimated amount of time and for the estimated price. The stairs were in bad condition and now they look gorgeous. Excellent work!

ESP gave us a very reasonable price on a project with a very tight schedule (2 weeks!), They got the job done on time, were very pleasant to deal with and the paint job looks great.

His team did a great job, but unfortunately rain ruined part of the paint job. Without asking for more money, his team came back to make it as new. He guarantees his work, and isn't cheap about it. They also touched up the side of the house as an extra. Thanks!

The process was as expected and very smooth. I recommend this vendor. He is accessible (answers the phone) and respectful. Upon inspection, the walls were in great condition, so he gave a great price and did a high quality job.

Everything went very well, Edson is very responsive and easy to work with. His crew was very polite and respectful. The quality of the work was very good - they patched several areas of the plaster ceilings/walls before they painted and they look as good as new.

Edson was very accommodating and came over on a Sunday to discuss the project and work up an estimate. They were the lowest estimate I recieved but based on the reviews I was confident in ESP. The reviews have been correct: workers were here early in the morning and sometimes when I got home from work, they were patient and helpful with the trim color and when the color for the garage door did not work for us they repainted it. Details were taken care of and I have not found one drop of paint were it shouldn't be. They cleaned up after themselves every day (although I did find two bags of painting waste in the garage that I threw out myself).
