It went terrifically well. Daniel noted some soffit and fascia work that needed to be done ahead of the painting and handled that as part of the job. He was very upfront from the beginning about everything -- explained all his procedures, the complications of predicting when the crew would be able to come out given weather, exactly how much everything would cost. While we had some estimates at similar prices from other highly rated companies too, Daniel seemed so organized and easy to deal with that we went with him. From the start, everything went smoothly. His crews were very polite and incredibly hard-working. My wife was a bit shocked at how they seemed to take no breaks and just keep plowing ahead. They kept me informed at each step how things were going and when they expected to finish. At the end, they even washed the windows. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Daniel Motti, his brother Felipe Motti, who worked as site manager, and the whole crew are professionals from beginning to end. First, Daniel contacted me and came for an estimate promptly, then got back to me by email and with a very professional written estimate by real mail. The detail in the estimate was terrific. We were able to negotiate on the service and price a bit and he began work at the time we decided. The whole crew arrived each day early and stayed late. They checked with me about whether or not it was OK to work on the weekends (yes, it was, and they put in days then too). They were quiet and respectful of the neighbors, cleaned up neatly at the end of each day, and took great care of my lawn and garden. They did not leave a speck of paint or debris anywhere. Daniel and Felipe stayed in touch very regularly, both in person and by email, and were quickly responsive to any questions I had as we went along. Daniel frequently checked with me to be sure I was happy and satisfied. The daily crew members were clean cut guys and hard workers. The prep work was the best I have ever seen. The crew removed virtually all of the old thick and cracking paint from the trim and there is a LOT of trim. Their carpenter replaced lots of broken or deteriorated old shingles and trim and the crew caulked cracks where necessary. This was all part of the plan that Daniel had laid out ahead of time; there were no surprises or omissions. They did a full house primer and two final coats of paint. Daniel did not ask for the final payment until he was sure we were fully satisfied. At the end, the crew washed my windows on the outside, took away every bit of trash, and even raked the soil in my garden.My old house looks like new! All of my neighbors have commented on the quality of the work. We are 110% satisfied with the work that Motti Painting Solutions did. Truly professional.

Daniel Motti and his team were outstanding! From the quoting process all the way to finalizing the work, his team was professional, skilled, and communicated very effectively. Meeting with Dan to quote the project, I was delighted to not only see his competitive quote for the work, but also the confidence he had in executing the job. The actual project was managed by Felipe who was great. They actually started work ahead of schedule, which I hear is unheard of but it seems we lucked out with the weather! Each day the crew arrived in the morning, left in the afternoon, and didn't leave a trace. The entire project took 3 days, but when I reviewed the finished product with Felipe and noted one more thing I wanted to paint, he sent his team right away and took care of it on day 4. Did I mention the quality of work? Amazing. The house looks better than when we bought it. All the paint is crisp and the color matching was excellent. The front door is absolutely stunning, and all of the sanding actually fixed a long-standing issue we've had with the door sticking! Case and point, I will likely contact Daniel in the future for all of my painting needs.

Daniel was great to work with, as was his brother Felipe and their painting crew and carpenter. His bid was the lowest. But, because of excellent reviews on Angie's List, had no qualms about going with him. We also wanted to hire someone who could take care of the painting and carpentry work. He was very friendly and helpful in suggesting some changes and repairs (some woodpecker-damaged end boards). The work was of high quality and they cleaned everything up! We highly recommend him!

Very well. He is extremely hardworking. He contacted me the day before to establish exactly what was to be done and what colors would be used. He also visited us in advance to see the site and understand the conditions.

Daniel was the primary point of contact, with his brother manning the crew and keeping everyone on task. They did the entire job, which was rather large, in about three weeks. I have not experienced a more professional crew. During some work on one of the dormers, they accidentally broke a storm window. I hadn't noticed, but Daniel told me about it _after_ they had already purchased a replacement window. There was no added cost. He painted the porch as well and fixed a rotting post. At no time was he pushy about selling service. Their carpenter replaced all clap boards and shingles that were aging. it's important to note that other providers wanted to charge 45k to replace all of the siding and did not want to strip and fix the siding. Motti went the extra mile. We'd hire them again anytime.

Totally please with the results. Painters showed up promptly. Daniel walked them through what we had discuss previously. I went to work and came home totally excited by the results. It truly exceeded my expectations. He is now my go to painter. Pleasure to work with. They fixed some drywall imperfections and my place looks amazing.

The job went great! They performed everything they proposed as well as small extras to make the job perfect without any additional charges. I am in the real estate business and this company is the best painting company I have seen. They were timely, clean and professional. The quality and care of the work was outstanding. These guys were very responsive and professional. They answered my initial inquiring same day and visited our property within 2 days. So again, about as responsive as it gets. We didn't end up working with them mainly because their quote was much higher ($3,000) than another company we liked as well. That being said for $3,000 extra dollars, they did quote us with a 5 year warranty and one coat full coat primer and two coats of paint. The company we ended up using had a 3 year warranty and did one full primer coat and one full coat of paint. So keep that in mind when I say they were much higher in price. If I recall, the company we went with offered us an additional full coat of paint for an extra $1,000. Still about $2,000 difference for a 5 year warranty versus a 3 year warranty.

The process of selecting a house painter was begun last fall by searching Angie's List for highly rated companies. Over a period of a few months six estimates were received. By mid December, Motti Painting Solutions was chosen based on high ratings, best price, good references from two homeowners I spoke with, five year warranty, and an early signing discount of 10%. Daniel Motti was very responsive via emails to various concerns and questions. At signing I was uncertain of what paint brand and type I wanted so Daniel priced in Benjamin Moore Moorgard, a quality paint, but said I could decide later and a price adjustment could be made then. I was notified by email in March of this year that the company was getting ready to schedule jobs in April and was asked if I needed any carpentry services prior to start of painting.I was also asked about my paint selection. I responded that I had already taken care of some shingle and trim repairs and had decided on Benjamin Moore Aura exterior latex paint. In early April a walk-around inspection was scheduled and done by Daniel and project manager brother Felipe Motti and some members of his crew to finalize the job prep. Daniel asked if I would be interested in Sherwin Williams Duration paint. I told him I had been looking into it because of its high ratings and would be acceptable if Motti had experience with this paint, which they did. By mid April a start date was specified but later revised to allow Motti's crew time to finish added scope on an interior job they were working on before my exterior job. Finally, on April 22, the crew arrived at about 10AM and pressure washed the entire house (about 2-3 hours) and allowed to dry on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday a porta-potty was delivered on site by a sanitation company as promised by Daniel. At about 6:45AM on Wednesday a crew of 3-4 men scraped and power sanded all day until 5:30PM. They worked very hard stopping only for lunch. Tarps were used to catch the debris and protect the shrubs. The property was cleaned up at the end of the day and the ladders were stored behind the building out of sight. On Thursday a 3 man crew arrived at 8:45AM due to some rain overnight/early morning. They finished scraping and sanding and started priming with an oil base primer. They left at 6:45PM after the usual cleanup and tool storage. Friday at 6:45AM 3 men arrived and finished the priming and started staining the rear decks and painting the rear of the house above the upper deck with Duration. They left at 6:45PM, working throughout the day, stopping only for lunch. Saturday at 8AM 3 men arrived and painted the doors, finished staining the decks and painted the iron stair railings. They left at 5:15PM. Daniel sent me an email during the day asking if it would be OK for the crew to work Sunday. I agreed. Sunday at 7:45AM 2 men arrived and some Duration finish painting was done and the front balcony was stained. It must be pointed out that during the week one man had spent much of a day scraping and sanding the balcony in preparation for staining. It showed that the effort was well worth it when the stain was applied and the balcony looked better than new. The men left at 3PM after cleanup. Monday 3 men arrived at 6:45AM. They cleaned and spray painted the shutters using a spraygun machine, not spray cans, and finished the Duration finish coat on the rest of the house. They also polished the brass door knocker and returned the grill and pool steps to the lower deck. They left at 5:15PM after the usual cleanup. Tuesday 3 men arrived at 6:45AM and replaced the shutters and downspouts. The windows were all washed, The front door stoop was varnished. Later that morning Felipe Motti arrived to do a final walk around with my wife and me. I mentioned some soffit vents that were old and partially blocked and Felipe had the workers replace them with new ones I happened to have at no additional charge. The property was completely cleaned up and leftover paint and stain cans were left for future use. Almost on command the sanitation truck arrived and carried off the port-potty before the crew left. The paint upgrade to Sherwin-Williams Duration added only $112 to the original price. Approximately six gallons of Duration were used over an oil base primer for the entire house after scraping and sanding. Rollers and brushes were the application methods for the paints and stains, usually used together, i.e. paint rolled on and smoothed with brushes. In some cases the primed areas were hand sanded for a smooth finish before applying Duration. Felipe the project manager was on site not full time but frequently, providing materials, equipment, and supplies and answering questions I had. The painters were wonderful: careful, attentive to detail, very polite and worked long and hard. Every day they left the property clean and tidy with the ladders behind the building and supplies under the enclosed porch. The bottom line: this was truly a wonderful experience and we are very pleased with the results!

Overall, the job flow was fantastic. Daniel was communicative, punctual, and responsive. The job was well thought out, and his team executed the vision very well! Would highly recommend.

Daniel was able to schedule it on a day that was convenient for us and we asked if it could be completed in one day. He said they would do their best. There were 2 from his team initially and then 1 that stayed the entire time working diligently. They put plastic up over the entrance way which is quite a large opening and moved the heavy couch and TV as I was unable to do that. The 2nd person returned later in the day to assist with the final touches and I have to say we are extremely pleased with the outcome. The ceiling is now smooth and looks brand new! This is the second job Daniel has done for us. Last fall he painted the exterior of our home and put up all new shutters. We recommended him highly on that job as well. I would not hesitate to contact Daniel for any additional work we have.

We got a quote from Motti Painting Solutions Corp. They came out last weekend. We haven't made our decision yet. They were excellent.

Work not performed yet, but it is scheduled. Delay due to me, not contractor. so far very professional, quick and responsive. Loved that the contractor contacted me about using my angie;s deal that I purchased. Looking forward to a very satisfactory completion of the work.

Contacted Motti over phone he came out looked at the project, We agreed on the on the work to be done and the price. Since I was undecided about the color I wanted, he walked me through and gave me a few samples. He worked with one other person. He came one day to do the prep work and work daily until worked was completed. He arrived around 7AM and stayed until 4PM. He was always accessible to me to answer any questions. He was knowledge and professional and most important he cleand up everyday before he left, covered up everything and didn't get a drop of paint where it didn't belong. I was and am completely and more than satisfied with the quality of his work,

I emailed Motti Painting Solutions soon after an Angie's List deal, so I expected a slow response (it seems like providers are sometimes overwhelmed by the volume.) I received a response the same day and had the painting scheduled for the next week. The crew was running a little late, but called before the expected time to let me know and were friendly and easy to work with when they arrived. By the time they left, they had far exceeded my expectations and the place was spotless. Would absolutely contact them again for another project.

After putting a complete exterior repainting of our triple-decker out to bid, Motti came back with the most thorough, fairest priced option for a complete job. Daniel Motti was extremely communacative and flexible during the estimate and scheduling process. We needed to push the start date to later in teh season due to owner vacation schedules, etc. and Motti could not have been more accomodating. Once the work started, we knew we had made the right choice. Motti's crew showed up on time and in sync from the start of the project and paid so much attention to detail. About midway thorugh the preparation stage, Motti let us know that there was going to be a minor additional charge above the original estimate because there were more areas in need of carpentry repair than he originally saw during the initial inspection and estimate. This was absolutely reasonable considering the state of our building prior to the job and, in fact, I felt lucky there wasn't more overage. Any homeowner doing paintwork of this magnitude should expect there will be similar additional work in order to do the job right. Motti guarantees its work for Five years, which I believe any painting outfit worth its salt ought to do. Upon completion of the job, many of or neighbors commented on the crew's professionalism and beautiful outcome and in fact, contacted Motti right then and there to provide an estimate. The work speaks for itself and we would definitely use these guys again.

They did a great job repairing and repainting our house. Whenever I called or had a concern, they punctually answered my questions and were very flexible.

Daniel's team arrived every day ready for work and put in a full day. At the end of each day they completely cleaned up the area and put away all their equipment. We had also requested that they hang the shutters when the painting was completed however, last minute we asked him to purchase new shutters for us and hang those instead. He had his carpenter measure, purchase and hang them without hesitation or delaying the project. The price for the shutters was competitive and we didn?t have the time to deal with this ourselves so we were very pleased he could accommodate our request. Another nice surprise was that they hand washed all the windows upon completing the project. Communicating with Daniel was by email (my request) and he always responded within a short period of time. At the end of the project when we did the walk around, my husband and I could not find one thing that we were unhappy about. They went above and beyond our expectations and we would highly recommend them. I have since asked for an estimate for some inside work as we were so pleased with the outcome of the exterior project.
