Description of Work: We had our house painted and our front deck completely rebuilt. The carpentry work was outstanding and Celio was very helpful with design ideas. The painting crew did fine work, but they were not always very neat and didn't always pay close attention to the details.

Description of Work: Socelvic was contracted to paint my house, and also to fix any carpentry issues they encountered as the prepared to paint. They ending up finding quite a lot of issues (these were all legitimate), and did a great job at addressing all of them, from small things like fixing broken clapboards to larger issues like rebuilding the stairs to my back porch. | |It took a while for them to get out to give me an estimate, and I had to call them several times to find out when they were starting - but when I finally got through, they told me they were starting the next day - I had anticipated a delay of several months to get into their calendar. The entire job, including a week of construction, took about two weeks. It took about a week afterwards to get a full receipt with a breakdown of all work and materials, but I did get it. If they hadn't gotten such good reviews on this list, I would have probably been concerned about the sometimes iffy nature of their communication. |The work they did was excellent. Several of my neighbors commented on the quality of their work as it was ongoing, and I've received compliments since it's been completed.

Description of Work: They completely rebuilt the railings on four decks as well as other miscellaneous work. Celio was tremendous to work with. He is honest, thorough and very knowledgeable. We would use him again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Celio came to our home to give us an estimate for the full removal and rebuilding of a two story deck. He took the time to discuss the project in detail and provided a quote. His price was competitive, though a little higher than others. Ultimately, we selected a contractor who could begin the work sooner. We would consider Socelvic for a future project though.
