A Custom Co

When my whirlpool tub stopped working and I had a leak under my sink A Custom Co was sent out to my house by American Home Shield to repair the problems. To access the jetted tubs workings tile would have had to be removed which was not covered under my home warranty. The plumber called the owner Bob to get a price to do this, as I agreed I would possibly pay out if pocket for that. The plumber came back and said they were too busy and had no interest in doing the work. This is annoying on a few different levels but especially since I already had already paid the 95.00 fee (part of the home shield warranty fee to just show up)  for the service call. I understand if they are busy and were not expecting to get into that kind of work on the scheduled day but to flat out just say you aren?t interested in doing the work makes me wonder why you even run a business. 
It gets worse.. They plumber than started to work on the leak under the sink on the hot water line. He comes down and says ok well I replaced this and that and fixed the leak but no water comes out of the faucet and your warranty doesn?t cover fixtures but I clean out the possible clog for 80.00. (mind you water was running out of the faucet before he started "fixing it" but now it?s going to cost me another 80.00 to complete the job he started. I told him he could leave and now I am out 95.00 my tub still doesnt work and the sink now has no water!!! 

Overall I am very happy with this. I called them yesterday and they said they could come out yesterday but due to our schedule we wouldn't be home. They said they would call later in the day or in the morning to arrange a time today. They called around 10am and arrived within one hour. The spent about 10 mins determining the root cause of the problem then told us what they found then quoted us $100. While taking the spigot off, they found it to be corroded (which it certainly was) and then said it would be about $150 due to the fact they had to replace it and had to go get it. The final cost was $175 They were prompt, very courteous, and very professional. So far all is good. I am very happy with this engagement.
