We had a few days of rain so it was wet and muddy also still having a light rain when Max came to do the work. He was here within a few hours to do the job. He was polite and professional and answered all our questions. Even with the awful weather, he had a great attitude .

They did what they were supposed to. They've been out to the house before. I've never had any issues with them.

The washing machine would overflow from the house every time it would spin out, the bath tub was completely stopped up and the sink s were running slow. He ran a snake through every drain and completly unclogged all pipes.

The installation of the bathroom faucet and bathtub stopper went fine.  The kitchen faucet was another matter.  The plumber took the faucet apart to see if there was some problem with it, even though it wasn't very old.  After detemining that there was nothing wrong with it, he took apart the line in and discovered that the water pressure was very low before it even reached the faucet (probably should have been his first step).  He was unable to remember how to put the faucet back together and asked me to go see if I could find the installation manual that had come with it.  When I went back to the kitchen, he had the faucet partially put back together (as much as possible) and was packing up.  He said he would have to order a faucet part and come back another day.  I had to ask numerous questions about why he had to order a faucet part if there was nothing wrong with the faucet and if it was not the cause of my low water pressure before he finally confessed that he had broken it trying to put it back together.  The following week, I called the company several times, trying to get someone to tell me if I was going to be charged extra for the broken faucet.  When the plumber came back a week later, he did indeed try to charge me for both the new part and the extra labor for fixing what he had broken.  After much argument, I finally ended up paying for the new part, but not for the labor, and I had to take an extra day off work in order for him to come back.  The water pressure problem was never fixed by Roach.  When my brother-in-law came to visit, he found a piece of wood wedged inside the water line, and also replaced a corroded valve.  My son-in-law, who is a home builder, and my electrician both told me that their companies do not charge the customer when one of their workers breaks something in a customer's home, even though Mr. Roach told me that it was customary.  I think that this company considers women stupid about home repairs and tries to take advantage of us when possible.  The plumber also pulled my concrete meter cover out of the ground and left it there after turning the water back on, and I had to put it back myself.

They did fast and send men out here. I think they did a superb job because you hold your breath when you get a leak underneath the concrete slab as you won’t know what you will have to do to get rid of that. They threaded a special pipe through the damaged part and reconnected everything and it went quite well. The guy who came out was a young man and had a helper there. They got the job done and I did have a call back done. The call back was because they made a tie end to the valve that ran through the house and we were getting cold water out of hot water faucet. So they corrected that with no additional charge.

Whenever I had a problem, they were there, they were courteous, and professional.  As a member of Angie's List, they were supposed to give me $10 discount, but they didn't.  I called him on Friday and they came out next day.  I had received a price quote earlier and they were pretty close.  I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

Had issue with Water Heater, called initially on a Saturday.  After explaining the cost of a weekend visit, I decided to wait until Monday.  They showed up first thing Monday morning, and took care of the water heater very quickly.  Cleaned up the area and gave me a copy of the bill.  Very courteous, timely, and professional.

I have used Roach Plumbing since 2004, when I was referred to them by a dear friend who had used them for YEARS.  My friend is a doctor, and - as a man - knows when he is getting a bum job/estimate.  (I, as a single Mom, am often skeptical of some of the lines that I am given by repair personnel - automotive, electrical, roofing, etc. - you NAME it!!)

The first time that I contacted Roach Plumbing, they were very friendly and courteous on the phone and quickly set up an appointment to meet with me.  They phoned ahead to let me know that their service professional was on his way to my home and he arrived very promptly.  He was friendly, introduced himself and listened as I described my dilemma.  He verified that he had heard me correctly, went to the problem, identified the source of my "issue", described to me what would be involved and got right to work.

He completed the repair within 45 minutes and even listened patiently as I described ANOTHER incident that occurred to me while he was fixing the original concern.  He quickly answered my question, made a small (to HIM!!) adjustment and even asked me if I could think of anything else that he could help me with.  I was extremely happy to pay the original, estimated amount, which was - as I recall - VERY reasonable!  No sticker shock with these folks - any subsequent time that I have called them for repair work, they genuinely sound glad to hear from me, like I had been an original customer for DECADES!This outfit is friendly, professional, personable and have the integrity that I welcome into my home!   I have probably used them 3 or 4 times for various plumbing situations over the past 9 years.

I have referred other friends, especially other "single Moms". to them because I know that they will appreciate the work ethic that we miss so often, in this day and age!  I DO use and whole-heartedly recommend Roach plumbing for big and small needs alike!

They were quick to respond and punctual. They found the problem and took care of it (not a common problem) for the estimated price. They were professional and efficient. These attributes are contrary to any other encounter with a plumber I have had in the past.
