LOWE'S

Lowe's representatives have been very good.  Did all the selection and arranging with "Kathy" who is a whiz on the computer when it comes to placing cabinets.  We met 6 or 7 times and she was very professional each and every time.She was never rushed or annoyed when we made changes and we made a lot of them.  We also met with the contractor who will do the installation.  He came to our home to measure and had several good ideas that we incorporated into the design.  I can only comment on the  planning and selection process.  I brought my husband, my son and daughter-in-law in with me at different times.  Kathy listened to all of them and worked their ideas into the plans.  I anxiously await the installation.  As for price, we feel we were treated well.  The cabinet company had many promos that cut the cost considerably.  Lowes also offers incentives that help keep the cost down.  We were well satisfied with the final cabinet cost which included delivery of the cabinets and the breaking down of existing cabinetry and the installation of the new ones.

Lowe's is convenient, nice, and have plenty of things.

The entire process did not go smoothly. The original sales rep at Lowes appeared somewhat in over her head and so the purchase took a bit longer than necessary. Then the rep changed between the purchase and the actual install -- which was actually a change for the better -- but they managed to deliver the wrong screens. Still, when the right ones came in, the installers returned and had them up in less than an hour. Overall, for a big and expensive project, it was relatively painless.
